Can the Pups Survive off Scavenging?

- Here's another challenge suggestion I was given. Thank ya for suggestin'
I had fun playing this one. :)
Overall it was a bit hard to find food? I did struggle quite a bit. If I starved myself enough though, the game would spawn something in.
Around when my own hunger reached around I'd say.. 50% that's when carcasses started spawning?
Not surprising, but the lower your hunger/health the higher likelihood carcasses spawn.
I'm just surprised majority of the carcasses had enough to feed me and the pups. I think the lowest the pups' hunger got to was about 38%.
I still take challenge requests but they can take time to film! :)

Game name: WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition
Official site: wolfquest.org
Steam page: store.steampow...
Itchio page: eduweb.itch.io...
Challenge Idea: Extreme Realistic
1. No HUD
2. No music
3. No menu of any sort (pack status, map, known wolves)
4. No nametags
5. Age Perks must be picked by random generator or dice
this sounds brutal, i might try this myself
It got choosed
This sounds good, but I don’t think removing a HUD is a good idea. In reality, a wolf would know if it was hungry or injured
Try this one:
- You stay in Eagle camera.
- You must keep the same den you've chosen unless if you get kicked out of it because flea load reached the max or it's time to go to rendezvous site.
- It must be night time during gameplay.
- No mate.
A cougar attacked my wolf at an open den just as I got there as well, so my best guess is it was trailing me while I was moving my pups and wanted to finish the attack, but yes I never experienced it before either!
I am definitely subscribing to you; you make awesome content and have the nerves that I don't have to be able to do these amazing challenges. I have a challenge idea, maybe you should try and have your pups survive only off of small carcasses. While they're little, you as the player can only eat rabbits to feed the pups. And in the summer, you can't take meat chunks off of carcasses. Hope you use my idea! Thx for the amazing video as always
Challenge Idea:
Basically you can only hunt pronghorn, also when you are raising pups to 15+ pounds you can only hunt baby pronghorn. You also would be nomadic so you would have your pups and then leave the den. You can have territory but not much you aren’t aloud to woof. Once you start the challenge you can’t mark anymore. (So make sure your mate doesn’t) Btw love the vids! Underrated!
Holy shart, now your pups are gonna adapt and the bloodline of scavengers goes on until they evolve for only scavenging (I'm joking)
It's like your saying they'll grow up to be coyotes
It was so cool to see you use my challenge idea. You did splendidly! 😊
Also watching this video has sparked another challenge idea, don’t ask how it sparked this specific memory lol. But anyways it reminded me of this time I was on easy and was without a mate and almost died trying to save my single pup from double predator attacks, and was in stranger territory to top it all off as well as denles challenge. It felt like I was on accurate multiplayer. Which made me wonder… how well would you fare with living my experience out, but this time in accurate.
Also watching you choose to move dens at near 60% has me questioning how much flea load tolerance players of WolfQuest have, including you. I, myself, usually stay until the 90s. For me it only starts getting irritating at 80%
For me personally as soon as we start scratching I’m DONE lol, can’t stand it
Plus it rlly helps with affinity which is something I often struggle keeping up with
Would love to see you revisit this challenge when the saga's out! Would be nice to see if it'd be possible then.
Do you know when the saga’s coming out? or is there no release date yet? :P
@@chonkpenguino9179 Wolfquest devs rarely announce release dates. But it's been confirmed to release later this year. :)
Wow! Being here from day 1, its really great to see how you grow. From just a small channel, to a full on nearly weekly uploading channel.
I was wondering, could you make a tutorial showing how you choose your mates? Basically what you do to determine their personality.
Sure thing, I'll record that soon lol.
@@Kayuai Thanks!
i absolutely love your videos and the time and bravery it takes to make these videos and challenges. i honestly wish i could subscribe to you twice
Imagine how hard this challenge would be in the growing pups part of the Saga
great work kayuai :) love these challenges so much!
I always love the names you give to your pups
Hi great vids mega exited for the saga also have an idea for a challenge basically u have to do no hex+hares only or pronghorn only and it is set in lost river and if u can’t find hares or pronghorn cattle ranch is aloud hope you enjoy
Oh for some more spice no mate if possible
I remember when i first moved my pack to hellroaring mountain. I smelled pack wolves near my den and found out it was a sigular wolf, THE LEADER. Fun time killing em, still waiting on the pack to disband or reform :3
I'm Russian, but I love your videos ( I write from a translator )
have you ever done a control freak challenge? like you don't leave your den unless the territory is getting attacked, when you hunt you don't leave the den hex, pups can't leave your sight when out of the den, pups only leave the den during the day and always sleep inside, when there's an attack on the den you don't leave the entrance from your sight, no age perks, ect? It sounds like a lot of work so that's why I'm asking lol.
So..Basically you’re a wolf that is verryyyyy veryyy protective of their pups
@ pretty much. It limits what you can do. And an even better idea would be to do this on accurate. lol
I don’t know if it’s a good challenge but have a wolf with worst stats you can with the worst mate possible. Then kill that mate and try to survive with your pups. :D
How are you so good at this game?? I consider myself good but I'm jealous of your skills!
Playing with friends and playing a lot of accurate pup games. xd
Love your content by the way, you're underrated. :)
@@Kayuai thank you so much 💕
The puppy names 😭
Sheet of Paper lol
Hey Kayuai! Are you accepting fanart? If so how would email/send it to you?
Also, I have a challenge. You cannot hunt anything but hares, If theres a carcass you cannot eat out of it. Whenever theres a stranger wolf attack (or dog attack if u decide to go on lost river ) you MUST let one pup die/get killed. You can only mark territory once a day. ( for example, theres a ex thats need marking you can mark it but not any other hex anymore. ) sorry its super long!
Sure I accept fan-art! I have a Discord account if you have Discord. C:
@@Kayuai alrighty! I have discord!
Can the pups survive without you using scent mode?
What did you do to see through scent particles how much a carcass has left and the distance to an elk herd? It's the first time I'm seeing that
It's a perk!
Age six and past there is a perk called 'Knowing Nose' and it lets you see those things!
@@Kayuai oooh I see! Thank you
How do you tell if you have a runt?
If the pups' weight is behind all the rest. That's usually the tell sign that you have a runt.
Usually runts are a couple or a few pounds behind the rest of the litter. They also appear a bit smaller than the other pups.
Also, once you complete a year it will display the runt
You will always have a runt in every litter usually it's hard to tell on the first day but after that you can see it's almost a pound lighter than all the rest. Then once you complete a year and check your family tree it will say runt beside the name of the wolf
Just look at your wolf in the menu then go to the family/relations tab and it will say if there is a runt
Kayuai, you are incredible to try challenges like these! I respect You so much and you are my motivation to try challenges like this one I love Wolfquest and I think you are making this game more challenge full and fun so thank you for this🩷🩷
