This Is the Most Difficult Challenge in WolfQuest AE?

- Hey guys! Happy pride month!
So this has been a video I've been wanting to film for.. some months now I believe. I originally wanted to post about it back in February, but I didn't really have the time to film that much.
Er' I think this challenge has been a thing, at least to my knowledge, for about a year. No Hex / Home Hex has been a challenge that my friends and I have played and brought up to the community.
But since it's a challenge that's well-known to my friend group in specific, I'm not sure how well known it is or how many people have actually played it. But, I wouldn't expect it to be a lot of people. xd
As this challenge can test your patience, because when I mean wolves attack you all the time, I mean they attack you ALL the time. I would only recommend this challenge to those who want to have a really difficult challenge.
Anyway, overall the multiplayer game I hosted this video went pretty well. The players I played with had tolerance enough for this challenge, and I thank you for that! I feel like most players would rage quit lol.
Pups did good as well; except for the fact they were starving about half the time and especially toward the end of the game. I lost count how many wolf attacks there were but there was enough to the point it prevented me from initiating sleep for a while.
I don't host No Hex / Home Hex games a lot, and when I do, it's usually at least once a month or once every few months since it requires so much patience lol.
You can go ahead and try this challenge if you dare. Don't have to film your attempt though. :)
I still take some challenge requests, the harder the better. :]

OMG I was on that server, I was the one playing Blaze. My game was lagging a bit every time the wolves were attacking. I also made some of the names lol. Dispite the challenge being so chaotic I would love to play again.

I tried a challenge like this on single a couple of years ago, and it went not well. I ended up forfeiting so my pups didn't all starve to death, especially since I had already lost one to an eagle early on.
That sure sounds like No Hex difficulty. 😭

Im def gonna do this- also the CHAOS of the wolves none stop-
I just did this challenge and oh my GOD it was hard! There was almost no moment of peace as we were under attack every minute, and there was nothing we can do either because everyone was both hurt and starving. We had 5 pups originally but ended up with 3 due to wolves and coyotes.

I want to see a singleplayer version of this but you are allowed to kill pack leaders.
well then that defeats the purpose of being in their hex because then theyll move out..

Knowing how much I like chaos… especially with only two players on a One Hex accurate challenge, I may have to try this out xd

Are there requirements to being able to play in a challenge with you?
With me? Nah, I played with anyone who just happened to be in the lobby at that moment but I'm always willing to play with anyone.
My only concern would be timezone difference; I'm an EST and play in the US East lobby.

I tried this on easy we got 7 pups the pack disbanded and we somehow kept them all alive

Hi I’m a Wolfquest professional and yes I have tried this challenge even on accurate and beat it with no pups lost on Singleplayer. I am still searching for people to come try it with me in multiplayer

@@Kayuai if so, can you do a hare only challenge? It’s pretty self explanatory, you and your mate (and pups) can only eat hares, no uglates, no elk no mule deer no beavers ONLY hares!

If it's a challenge specifically in stranger wolf territory, why is it just called "no hex" challenge? I've heard of the challenge but now the name sounds misleading XD
But yk what, I'm getting a little bored with my casual Wolfquest playthroughs so I'll gladly try it in sp(mostly cause I'm an introvert and I like to do things in my own way XD--yes ik, I'm stubborn hehe🤫)
Im talking about the one hex challenge btw, if Im doing the no hex challenge its NOT going to be in stranger wolf territory cause I just refuse to do challenges in mp, I prefer to do challenges in sp XD
Essentially it's just supposed to be you have no hexes / no territory of your own, like No Hex.
One Hex means you have one piece of territory but No Hex means you don't have anything. xd
I think the original idea of it when I started thinking about it was One Hex at a stranger wolf pack home hex but that didn't exactly make sense because you can't claim the home hex without killing the pack leaders first and disbanding the pack lol.

Not the whole time no.
I've heard some people do something where they absolutely cannot leave the home hex even to find food and everything they hunt is usually in the home hex but I'm not sure who applied that rule. xd
But once the pups reach like.. 19-20 pounds you can leave the home hex and go to a rendezvous site or once they reach 20 pounds you can call it GG since the game doesn't complete the quest unless you have a site.
But you essentially do need to live/den in a stranger pack's home hex of your choice to raise pups there.
Is it a good idea to raise pups in a stranger pack home hex? No not really, but I love having to play difficult challenges.
Doing No Hex has caused so many bugs to happen over time during the game for me. I remember scent view was absolutely broken after a while, like I could not sniff anything which made it even more difficult LOL.
@@Kayuai So, wouldn't it make more sense to call it "Stranger wolf home hex" challenge instead of just "no hex" or "one hex"
And for short, it could be called "swh" challenge. It just sounds less misleading to me that way Ig T-T
Maybe. It would be self explanatory but there's also a different version of No Hex that do not involve the stranger wolf home hex so that name doesn't apply overall.
