Thank you so much for your tutorial! I made this sweater for myself last year and I got to wear it for Thanksgiving and Christmas! I got so many compliments on it, and I was so proud to be able to make my first sweater! I changed the colors and had to tweak a few things in the neckline to accommodate my size, but otherwise I followed your pattern and found it to be very easy! I wish I could share a picture with you! I am now working on my second sweater, same pattern but one solid color in a very soft forest green 😊. I finally figured out how to make a "traditional" granny square without color changes or weird gaps, so I am excited that I don't have to weave in a bunch of yarn tails this time around! 😂
I had made very simple scarves and hats. Nothing larger than that and I only know chain, single and double crochet stitches. I made this sweater in 9 days and my daughter really likes it! I bought the pattern book on Etsy and can’t wait to start the next project. Thank you! 🙏 🤗💕
i'm making a 2x...at the moment, for myself...for years i crocheted for others, but now after seeing this tutorial...i HAVE to make this for myself. thank you, sweetie!
Written pattern can be found at www.etsy.com/LittlejohnsYarn/listing/635854569/crochet-sweater-for-beginners?Copy&ListingManager&Share&.lmsm&share_time=1554455982952
I appreciate how you skip teaching the stitches and are upfront about it. There are so many tutorials already on how to do stitches and it's nice to get to the nitty gritty of the pattern. Thank you. :)
I agree Vicky, I just found this channel and sweater a few days ago and knew I will be making this because of it not being boxy and traditional in looking like a granny square. It shows off curves for no matter what size we are.
You create such amazing work! This is so pretty... the design AND your color choices. I also appreciate that you include info for creating larger sizes. As always, thank you!
Love this pattern! Have crocheted for almost 50 years. Only made 1 sweater in all this time, and it was a ladies large, but turned out to be a 3X. Oops! Have been too intimidated to try again. Thank you for the lovely pattern. I also like the new sweater jacket pattern, too!
Thanks for stopping by. I was intimated by clothes also. Then I realized that sweaters are much easier to make than i thought. they are just squares and rectangles put together.
Thank you so much for your tutorial and i am going to start my crochet jumper today. Thank you also for your excellent and easy to follow instructions.
Hey, just wanted to let you know that I purchased the 4 granny square sweater patterns from your Etsy shop, will be purchasing more patterns soon! Thanks so much!
Gorgeous!!! I love the colors you chose especially that light teal color. So feminine looking!!! Your so talented and I would love to learn how to design patterns! I also love Caron simply soft yarn, love the sheen it has! Once you get past the splitting not a bad yarn at all!
Thank you. I know it splits sooooo bad, but it works up beautifully. (for similar price) Red Heart Soft has a close luster, splits less and is a little plumper. The luster isn't as good though
Thank you for this. Your instructions were very clear. That colour scheme is so pretty and the style is so feminine and flattering. I have some lovely red yarn that might work. I only learned to crochet before last Christmas so I've yet to make a sweater. Much obliged. Thanks again.
First time watching your videos and I have to say it is lovely! I am so glad you described how to make the bigger sizes. I'm so looking forward to making this for me and my fiance! Thank you for this gorgeous pattern
Thank You sooooooooo much for your tutorials.....I love this sweater so much I have made three of them already...….I love all of your tutorials....#keepthemcoming
Lovely sweater pattern !! Thank you !!! Making one for my Dad's wife using Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend yarn...looking rather Boho ....not doing different colors in each row just following your pattern ... but I love the colors of the sweater you made...I' m going to use your pattern with the Comfy Cotton yarn in Driftwood for me next !!! I bought your pattern and I figure I can make a 3X by adding extra rows !!!! Love this sweater !!!!
Thank you so much for the great tutorial on this pullover. Just finished the second sleeve and about to assemble. I used the Spot Saver Prints yarn in the Aqua Mix. It looks great!!
I love this top. Is there a way to make it into a dress by adding a bottom to the top? If not can you point me to a pattern that has this option. Thank you
I done six instead of ten for the back white part as I'm 5'2 haha it would of been a dress has I done 10 😆 but love how simple and easy the patterns are, doing the one you uploaded this week next!
Wow, I’ve been searching for hours and hours over two days for the perfect thing, and then I found it! Thanks so much for posting, and btw, I’ve watched a lot of tutorial videos and it would have been helpful to know about the gear thing you mentioned! Thanks for that too! :-P

A question--as a pale sister (glow in the dark pale!) I ve course type 3b curls and ALL of the hats, berets etc on sale in shops and tutorials online I cannot get on my head. Far far too small. Even the xtra LG ones in our Highland tartan weaved store. For men! I assume this isn't an issue for myself alone. Sorry if you have one I ve just come across your wonderful video in my watch later library. I ll research and subscribe when I get more time. Love and light from Dingwall 🏴✌️♥️🙏
