I bought one a couple of years ago, just the flash drive, not GO! It is 64GB and with free space on my phone, now I can start cleaning out my I-Cloud. Fast, simple and I empty into laptop.
But like your experience, 3 minutes to download, 8 minutes to open package! If they used that plastic except thicker, they could build cars & trucks that last for 100 years!

Great Video. I just bought mine. Went great. One Question: How do you remove the sandisk from the iphone? Just jerk it out and move on? I don't see any eject option like on Windows machines. Thanks Friend.
I don’t think there’s an eject button. I would exit the app then take it out

All these tutorials are good except for one thing, I haven't found one that tells you how to move not copy the photos from the flash drive to the computer, and I don't see a way to delete the photos from the iXpand drive without deleting all the iXpand files as well!

Come on man, you were doing such a good job getting photos into sandisc, but this is part one!
Like the viewer above, I have a windows based Dell laptop (Phone 6S, laptop top something) but 18 lumbar procedures leave me placing new phones and laptops at the bottom of the list. I take some photos but when your grandson in done and graduated from the "Marines", now driving a police car, we spend more time loading & shooting.
You may think "Hey, ammo is expensive" yes, but I have 1,260 pounds of lead, cast my own caliber and 16 one pound cans of smokeless powder. I got 3 five gallon buckets of full already. Free from fast food as pre-sliced pickles come in them.
So, common sense tells me that 6 different files come installed on the sandisc device for the correct operating system. I can program the Powertrain Control Module on your mom's Buick, but the rest is unclear.

Besides my photos and videos, I want to transfer my notes and files, but I don’t see any way of doing it?
It can only do videos and photos
@HondaNguyen There is a way of doing it but it's very time consuming. You have to select the note individually save it to your files rename it to the name that was originally on the file.
Once you do that you can send it to the IXpand. This is why I dislike Tech/IT designers, they have no idea how to make things user-friendly. That goes for everything let us talk like tvs, cell phones, computers etc.
Why do you have to do it this way instead of having to be able to select all the note files and transfer them onto the IXpand? Lastly you can email the Note file but you can't do it on mass it has to be individually done. So in other words I have to send 900 note files individually. It's ridiculous

Is it possible to backup my entire iPhone with everything in it?
I would recommend to choose only a few at a time bc it would take way too long to download all at once, plus it might freeze

can it save live pictures? and then be used again to copy them back to iphone (for if u need it back later) also can it save other details like the location of picture was taken and time etc..

I bought one, and installed the App on my iPhone 11 and my iPad. On my iPhone I use the BlackMagic camera App. This App puts its videofiles in its own folder, Blackmagic Cam/Media. It seems that the iXpand can not reach that folder, so this thing is useless to me. Or is there a hidden feature? I still have to use the Apple Camera adapter, and I can only use the USB side of the iXpand. Useless for me!

hii , I'm about to purchase this , and I have a doubt, if I use it for backup only option for full photos and videos ,and after connecting it on my Mac/windows computer can I view the photos and videos and copy them to Macbook as a normal Pendrive itself??? or its like encrypted like non viewing on computer?? pls reply..

Why not use a Pro Lightning to USB to laptop etc? All these App downloads takes up space.

Once You download all your pictures and videos to the flash drive. Can You transfer the pictures and videos to a desktop computer?That way I can save all the pictures and videos to the desktop and to an external hard drive. Then delete the pictures and videos off the flash drive to use the flash drive again and again? Thank You awesome video.
Hi, yes that is exactly how it works. Once you finish transfer your pics/videos. You now plug the GO into your computer and drag it over to your desktop or to your drive. That’s how I do it too. Hope that helps 👍

How is the transfer process for video files from phone to drive? I have alot of videos I need to transfer over
Same process but will take longer since it’s a video. I would do a few at a time bc it does take some time.
When I’m on the screen with the two circles for used space, the iPhone storage is actually filling up even MORE as the files copy to the flash drive. So both circles are filling up. More storage used on flash drive as well as on the phone. Isn’t it supposed to decrease phone storage issues?
Hello there, you will need to manually delete the photos on your iPhone even though it says it’s deleted. Watch this video on how to permanently delete photos/videos off your iPhone. Hope this helps!

It should still be on your flash go. You can plug into your computer and drag to your computer

Thank you! However I ran into a problem.....I got a pop up half way though that said "It Failed -Try agin later'?!? Now what? how do I know if half copied? and at the bottom it says cancel HELP
You would probably just start over. Try to copy less items at a time so at least you know those are copied and then move to the next

Not 100% sure but try it and see just make sure it has a lightning port

Phone isn’t detecting it. It doesn’t say ixpand like yours on the package, it just says sandisk memory zone app - but no such app on iOS
Go to the App Store and type in “iXpand Flash drive” and it should pop up 👍
@@HondaNguyen unfortunately it's not detected by iXpand. you know on your package how it says get "ixpand flash drive"? mine says get the "Sandisk Memory Zone" app but it's only available for Android.

How come when I download on to the flash drive it makes two copies of the video one ending in “video.mov” and then another called “video-full.mov”??
Not sure. Maybe click on them and see which one is correct. Delete the one you don’t need
@@HondaNguyen they are the same exact quality but it makes the "full" one double in size each time then adds jps of it to the file
@@itisallwon357, sorry not sure, but you would also want to transfer the stuff to your bigger portable hard drive to free up the GO. The GO is for you to carry around since it’s small.
I have the same problem! The worth is, It‘s hard to delete them. I repeat few times but the double imagines are still there😩
