I have used this method, has worked perfectly until now, that I need more than 256gb. Have you found any other option that works as easily? Hoping they release a 512gb in the ixpand line.
Or just buy another 256GB stick dude. It’s either that or the cumbersome pc method.

hey, i just started working w this thingy. its started backuping the files automaticaly, but it did so with actually filling up the sotrage on the disk and i am confused since i havent transfered anything to it manually yet.. could it be that the backup is taking up the storage? also, when i tried to copy basically anything, it said that it failed with no explanation.. do you have any idea why that migh be happening? my theory is that if i try to copy files that arent backuped yet, it just wont work.. i desperately need help because i need to clean my phone storage in a week so id really appreciate ANY help..
You must check the files you want to back up. If you tried to back up the whole phone it will fill the drive quickly.
If I transferred a 4K video on the flash drive from my iPhone, and decided to transfer it back over to my phone, would the quality still be the same?

I’m a newbie to all this stuff, should I really backup the saved files in pen drive to a computer/laptop can’t I just store my files in the pen drive itself?
It’s up to you. If you don’t want to carry around a heavy laptop, this is a great option for portable storage.

So I can have all my pictures and videos on here and keep them there and delete all my photos and videos on my iPhone to free up storage ? I’m tired of dealing with iCloud that’s why , I’ll just save them in the flash drive and upload later so a computer when I get one

bro same here! i phone can be so annoying sometimes man and I cloud like is so confusing and complicated feels like a scam. can’t even backup all our photos without our phone having no storage and not being usable. But this flash drive saved me aswell bro happy it did for you too

I believe you need to use the app. it’s the software that works with the iPhone
Is this compatible with Iphone 15? I tried to plug in the drive with the USB-C end but it didn't do anything for the app on my phone...
Good question I’m not really sure. The 15 was not out when this review was made.

I have an iPhone 11, and I keep getting an error message saying “Operation Failed. Please try again later.” This happens after the drive copies a few pics/vids. I’ve tried numerous times, and I am becoming flustered over something that should be easy to execute. I will say that I have about 34,000 files to transfer, but not sure if that’s the issue.
Any help would be appreciated!!
Make sure you have your iOS updated and also check for app updates. also try to transfer a small amount of files and see if that works. Also, some of the files you’re trying to transfer could be corrupted so many different things that it could be.

@@DonFriend497I updated the iOS as you suggested, but even when doing small batches I get the error, and it’s a pain going back and forth to see what has been copied to start over again. 😔

Mine is not working too. Im transfering photos from my iphone xr to my iphone 15 but it does not sync in with my iphone 15’s usb c.. i tried it on my ipad air 4th gen usb c as well, it does not detect it..
