Whats the best oil to use in the 2014 kx450?
I've always used Mobil 1 4t Full Synthetic 10w-40. Easy to find and I checked the cams recently, and they looked great.
My KXF started making a weird noise at the end of the oil change. Is it normal, it looked like piston slap or something
Did you only put a quart of oil in it?
Yea I just put a whole quart
@IsaacPel @IsaacPel thanks friend, do you also know if you can put an ignition button on this bike, I have a kx 450 year 2015
@@junioradileysonmarroquinvi8275same here, looking for that answer aswell if you find any info
How many Quarts did you use and how do you know your at proper level using sight glass
I use 1 quart, just pour the whole thing. It'll cover the whole sight glass at 1st, but after a while, oil will settle just below the top. Typically you want around 3/4th of sight glass covered. Also remember to drain from both bolts.
What filter was that under the seat & is that an air filter or oil filter in front of the oil cover
Directly under the seat is the airfilter
Do you just fill your coolant to the top? And do you have to fill both or just the one?
Yea just at the top, there is no extra resevoir to fill. I ran it for a bit to get air bubbles out too.
