Quick question, Please reply. I just did a oil change on my 2020 kx450 new filter new oil, filled it to high on the Oil sight glass, started the bike for 2 minutes an the oil in the sight glass is gone? Do i need to add more? I put as much oil as i took out
They do run lean. It just depends on what fuel you're running, what temp you're riding in, and honestly what your riding ability is. If you start getting detonation clicks or too much popping, I'd change.
@@mxgryan I changed my oil on my kx450f and now i have to crack the throttle to start it but it’s a fuel injected dirtbike so I shouldn’t need throttle to start. Do you know what might be wrong with it?
I was wondering I went to cycle gear Nd they gave me a 207 filter? Why do yu use the number y specified?
207 is correct, I misspoke. Good catch and I'm pinning this.
If you watch further in the video I correct.
Just checking. Planning on doing an oil change soon💪🏾💪🏾. Thanks. Great video regardless
Also yu think I can get away with a flathead screw driver to get the filler cap off?
@@vincevince2354 That’s what I do. Just use a large one that fits good so you don’t mess it up.
I used to be a dirt biker myself years ago. subbed to you thru Pusa. Rock on!

You never put in as much as you take out, you pour in the correct amount. 1 liter works fine.
These use the same oil for both sides?
There is no both sides. There's just oil.
@@mxgryan Alright sweet thanks! Was wondering if these had seperate lubrication systems.

Hey Bro I have the same problem with the o ring lol, did it leak for you? What size O ring did you order?
Hey. I just got this exact bike a couple days ago. Like literally exact same bike that is in this video. Is there a way you PM me? I have questions
Sure, PM me on Facebook
@@mxgryan just messaged you
Not going to lie. Before I sold my 17 kx450f I put 5w-30 car oil in it. Hopefully it works for him!
Where is the other drain bolt? That’s actually what I’m trying to figure out.
Should be underneath near the main one m8 I'm bout to do mine but from all the videos I've seen there underneath
I just picked a 2016 kx450f up and read that they run lean and was wondering if it would be fine to run the white coupler?
They do run lean. It just depends on what fuel you're running, what temp you're riding in, and honestly what your riding ability is. If you start getting detonation clicks or too much popping, I'd change.

What happens if i was to use a 112? Instead of a 207
The 112 wouldnt fit inside the housing.
Yu said your oil filter is 116? I got a 207. Am I missing something?
What’s the best oil for a 2016 kx450f
Any 10w-40 motorcycle specific. Motorex and Maxima are my favorites

@@mxgryan how about kawasaki brand oil?
Where the hells the dip stick brother
No dipstick man, come on!
You don't oil the new one before put it in?
I dont, but you can, if you like.
A quart of oil? Don’t be so specific 😂.
A quart is very specific. In fact, it's exact. 1 quart is an exact measurement.
@@mxgryan so you meant a quart of vegetable oil.
@@MichaelW-vj6wx so you didn't watch the video. Nice.
