Damn that bike is fast as hell, when I rode my friends stocker I was sold on the ktm 350. I'm 185lb intermediate, and couldn't keep the stock front wheel on the ground on that kawi. With a pipe ,clutch, and mapping, seemed like I could holeshot a national
being light is great but being light straped to a lighter bike with alot of agresive 450 power house is funny but hey if you can control it you will win its not the bike but being lighter means your bike wont strugle meaning you hit 40mph or more at the touch of the throtel lol scary but fun i rather ride a dirt bike thats made to be run agresive huskys are for casaul tracks ktms are not built for rough riding
Wow, ok that looks like an awesome 450 mod. And I gotta' say, I'm even more of an Andy Bakken fan, after this! Is Andy related to the awesome and amazing champion of the desert from the 1970's and 80's - A.C. Bakken?
The bike seems great but, Its going to cost to get it there without mentioning how much did you gain for all the work and effort. by just saying it gained all the way through rev range and added more peak power doesn't say enough what to expect from a before and after. The bottom line how much did it gain over stock in torque and horsepower. It was a point that was mentioned many times without saying how much.
Bet your ass for all that add on work they did. For you or I it would cost big money. I have an 07 kx450f. And it hauls plenty of ass stock. No need unless your a pro
This is why you call the race shop, send them engine components stripped down and tell them to send to send the newly worked head back disassembled with the new parts. Want to save a buck? Go spend $500-$800 on tooling. I do my own engine and suspension work. Just takes time and patience. Or you can pay more to have to work done for you.
"We also put in a cp piston. get the throttle kinda movin bit better there"
Awesome! You might want to do away with the high pressure cap and run it with Evans coolant. Wicked!
sick bike, love your project
Yeah and we got these new graphics, and they definitely increase aerodamnics, for that race feel. let's the plastics breath more, for racing feels.
I have a 2011 kx450f with stage 2 motor build .. I love it I never have any problems

I had no idea the piston and throttle had a direct correlation.

Does the muffler stick out enough? Ugly
I'm surprised he didn't put a fucking oxygen mask on that thing to help it breath more.
Lol
I wish there was a build list for this
I don't like four strokes BUT DAMN
Thankyou
