Thank you for sharing the build, looks like a fun project. Lumber prices here in the UK are just ridiculous so I have to make my projects from reclaimed materials like pallet wood etc rather than bought wood, can't wait to give this one a try! I love how you keep it real from a makers perspective, it's very much appreciated and very inspiring 👍 As for the bragging comment below...well, sharing knowledge isn't bragging it's generous in spirit and has nothing to do with 'ripping' people off, out time is our money simple as that hey!
Awesome project and profit margin! If you remember, I built a shoe tree after an inspiration piece similar to yours. There's two things I would recommend to you about this project. The first piece to come up off of the box, cut a 45 degree on the bottom, then all the rest of the cuts are at 90 degrees. Second thing, especially if you are going to make a bunch, construct a small square box the height of the space between shelves. This makes them easy to clamp, glue and be perfectly spaced each time. Because of the height and longer shelves, I used screws to construct mine. I do plan on making some of these to sell locally. Thanks my Brother!!!

I work in a print shop and we charge $30 per hour minimum for bindery time. If it's a quicky job that takes, say 10 minutes, then we will prorate it and if it's a client that we do lots of work for, many times, we don't charge at all.
Daniel! Wow thats great! I like the build to order option! That way your not having to stock an inventory that’s just sitting there! Oh and what a cool idea! Looks bad ass! 😊

Wow just wow. I am one of those people who literally spent so much time scraping labels off cursing the manufacturer for putting them on and the simple fix was a heat gun. Boy do I feel like a donkey
I enjoy all of your videos but this one answered questions on Etsy sales. I've never looked at it but everyone is telling menyo try it. Word of mouth ain't cutting it!
This question shows my ignorance when measuring something for cutting wood. Can you explain when you mark off a measurement the check mark looking thingy . Is the swing up mark indicate the cutoff region of the board. See time mark 1:34.
Dude that made me laugh so hard when you caught the Glue and squeezed it on your arm. Rewinded it like 10 times and my wife was like What the hell are you laughing at lol 😂😂😂
All ya got to do is go to google and type funny shaped shipping boxes, they have hundreds of options and sites , talking a couple bucks , 8 minutes to package it stuff it full of foam and bubble wrap super tight and off it goes , as I stated in the video client pays shipping as Etsy will calculate it for you when they purchase , also you can add a handling fee that is hidden and added on to total when they purchase . Skål 🫡
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks We have a local supply house for boxes and shipping supplies. Lots of boxes all different sizes at pretty reasonable prices.
I think that glue bottle kind of likes you. Or maybe it just likes the abuse. Does the DeWalt miter saw have a depth stop so you can make a groove instead of a cut completely through the wood? I really like the geometry of these diagonal shelves. You could literally use this item for any rectangular objects that are small enough. It is amazing that you sold three in a week, too. TY for the video!

Just want to add a little context in a different way! I went to school many years ago to learn how to work on cars. (I learned by investing in myself, I have the skill and knowledge). I can also go buy brake pads for $50 and charge you $300. It is because I have the knowledge on how to do it, the tools to do it, it takes my personal time to do it, and me going to buy the material/items to do the job! This is an example of an entrepreneur. Creates a sought after market and delivers. You think the cars and shoes people wear really cost $hundreds of dollars and tens of thousands to make? I promise you they don’t. But you still buy them!
