Convertible rear window develop or insert video, here it is shown nicely like a rear window with zipper is exchanged. It Is complicated less than one thinks. I give telephone help with pleasure and who cannot let so surely familiar one make also with us, every now and then there are with some models also divergences then we can make a suitable. Cabrio Heckscheibe ausbau bzw. einbau video, hier wird schön gezeigt wie eine Heckscheibe mit Reissverschluß getauscht wird. Es ist weniger Kompliziert als man denkt. Telefonische Hilfe gebe ich gerne und wer sich nicht so recht traut kann das auch bei uns machen lassen, hin und wieder gibt es bei einigen Modellen auch Abweichungen dann können wir eine Passende anfertigen. Also wer fragen hat kann mich gerne Anrufen Tel. wird im Video angezeigt.

So, I just completed this project. Not too difficult. I just have a few suggestions and confirmations about what has already been shown:
1: Definitely have a helper. It will take several times longer without a helper.
2: If it is possible to provide a wider seal tape, please do. It is a bit narrow, and could definitely be wider to cover more area. I received a spool that had twice the length I needed, but I would rather it have been twice as wide, though it could be doubled up (side by side). That however, would be a bit more tricky.
3: As shown, start the seal tape at the bottom of the window.
4: If the rubber lip that the canvas slips into is old and cracked, you're going to have a bad time. It needs to be pliable.

Wollte das bei meinem E36 machen… wie habt ihr das sofort hingekriegt, dass die Scheibe sofort passte? Ich muss seit Stunden immer wieder neu ansetzen, weil es immer um Millimeter zu weit links oder recht ist, sodass die Reißverschluss-Zähne sich an einer Stelle nicht mehr greifen können.
Immer wieder neu ansetzen raubt mir die Nerven, weil es extrem schwer ist, den Zipper einzuhaken 😬
Hatte das gleiche Problem bei meinem E36. Waren zu zweit und 2 Std später hatte es dann endlich geklappt. Der Reißverschluss hätte aber nicht mehr viele Versuche mitgemacht. Dachte auch mir brechen gleich die Finger ab😁
@@miklovelka1 es hat damals auch erst Stunden später geklappt. Und die Nähte des Reißverschlusses sind aufgerissen, sodass ich dann erstmal das wieder nähen musste. Ich flippe selten so sehr aus als an dem Tag, an dem ich diese Scheibe einsetzen musste 🤣

@@FlyingCall Fühle ich zu 100%😅 Beim ersten Einsetzen ging 1. immer der Reisverschluss auf, und an der letzten Ecke ist dann der Reißverschluss vom Verdeck abgerissen. Nach sehr sehr vielen Versuchen und immer wieder Reißverschluss neu Einsetzen + viel Heißluftfön saß die Scheibe dann...Junge... nicht nochmal. Und alleine ist das nicht zu empfehlen, mach ich nie wieder ohne Hilfe, auch wenn es irgendwie funktioniert hat.
We just tried this. Got the zipper attached from inside but could not get the window to line up. It was off center. A couple hours later gave up. Wish there was a more detailed video with speaking for tips.
Word of warning to all as stupid as myself. So I removed the rubber weather stripping and it created an opening into my car right away. So I put my plastic knife in there and started removing the window. It came out nice and easy.
Problem was it was already a replaced zipper window not the original. So I removed the zipper along with the window. The gap I saw was between the top and the factory zipper system. Sadly it was not sewn in. Just glued in and pretty shitty in fact. Came right off. Didn't realize til I went into the car and the zipper I saw before was gone. *sigh* So ya want to have a great time. Try reinstalling the OEM zipper then putting the window in. Ugh. But its done and looks great.
hello ive just purchased new window for megane 2002 from ebay store, think I'll struggle with supplied paper instructions (the video seems a lot easier) unsure if I should try it 🙈

My rear window is stiched in, not zipped. Had to resort to glueing it back to the fabric

Yes original hood from BMW Z3 have window whit zipper, no matter what a construction year .

At 1:47 of video, what is the person inside doing? Is that the clip that was taken out earlier being replaced or is he staring zipper?
There is a clip originally that has two parts. One inside that lines up with the one outside and clips to each other. Also you want to run some heavy thread in and out of the top to secure the zipper so you can remove the zipper pull without the risk of it unzipping, if that makes sense. Then reclip it.

+Blanche Gray Hello Blanche the Zipp system you have on many types of cars. when you have Original Top you have a Zipp window System. Look inside your car around the window if you have zipp.
