I like the C4 ZR1 a lot, but the C6 ZR1 has always been the perfect all-around Corvette in my eyes. It’s the epitome of what a Corvette is. Great footage! I’d love it if you did a video like this for the Viper :)

Growing up i was more into off road cars than sports cars, specifically Toyotas, but as a teen i began getting more into sports cars, and for years i was just into what was the newest and the fastest. But in the last 5 years or so, ive cared much less about new cars, since most of them are getting electrified, and ive found a new love for the sports cars that came out during my childhood, even though i didnt know anything about them when they were new. Cars like the Lexus LFA, 4th Gen Viper, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari F430, and, of course, the C6 Corvette. To me, its the perfect Corvette. The C5 proved to the world that GM could make a great chassis and a great engine for an affordable price. They were able to do this because of cost cutting. The materials were cheap, it was very minimalistic, and the styling was just a bit too 90s. The C6 fixed this in pretty much every way, minus the pop up headlights. The money they made from the C5 and from the federal government, they used to make the C6 a quality machine. Even better engine, even better handling, and finally materials that would be acceptable from any country that isnt China. They also killed the looks. It's peak 2000s, and it aged well going into the early 2010s. There were also the Z06 and ZR1, which were both absolute monsters, and still came with manual transmissions. The C7 also had a manual for both the Z06 and the ZR1, but something about the C7 just isnt as cool to me. It tries too hard to be a supercar with its looks, and doesnt give me the same nostalgic feeling. I also think its too tech-laden, a product of its time.
I dream of the day i can afford a C6 Z06, but the closer i will get to that goal, the more expensive they will get.
I absolutely love the C6 for many of those same reasons, good luck getting a Z06, thats a great motivator!
