I think one GWM brand that should come to Ireland is Haval. They make a bunch of SUVs with enticing price tags, and some of their range comes with 4WD.
Love the car, would go for this exact model. Deal breaker is the driver monitor system. I'm not comfortable with something looking at me constantly while driving, I don't trust the CCP not to scan our faces for some reason etc. Other than that, I'd be looking at one very closely.
This car looks awesome, the power tailgate is an awesome idea its nice that you can have that on a normal hatchback instead of a suv,not everyone once or needs a massive suv the fiesta is dead quite a few people could defect to this brand
One-Pedal mode is great (when on heavy), but it does turn off every time you change modes or engage cruise control.... you have to turn it back on again in each mode.
Can you do an updated review since they improved the software (not as much complaining, and added Apple Carplay (Android Auto still to come in Feb for Australia))? Compare it to the base MG4 (imagine they are the same price, like in Australia)
Ora 400+ Pro not available in UK but available in all other countries. Just like any other car, this one also available in lower tier/trim here in the mainland UK. It is so unfortunate why all these cars are available in lower tier as compared to other countries. From Toyota Rav 4 to KIA Sportage, majority of these ASIAN cars are lower tier and no one talk about it. It seems UK folks are not very demanding when it comes to car and just go for a basic one, on the other hand these car's price are very same as Tier 1 car price. Lets say, UK folks prefer not to have all those tech option or sunroof, heated seats etc.. then its fine, but not having these options why pay the same price as paying for fully loaded car ? Or maybe the car dealers take advantage of good nature of UK folks suggested car manufacturer to take out all the tech option, no sunroof, no heated seats and steering and save a lot of money but YET sell with same price as having all these options so they can make a lot better money.
Couldn't help stare at the Hugh gap between stealing wheel and column. I just think the price for an unknown and Chinese brand is a little too high. - 5k off both models.
Great review, I hope we will get more Chinese brands coming to Ireland. I can't imagine they will sell many of the 40k versions. I'd prefer spend an extra 5k for a M3 RWD
Fair play, you're really knocking out the reviews, well done and good luck with the career 👏👏
Much appreciated!
Defo one of the best car review channels ever ! And it's irish👌 Great narration! Keep it up dude!
Thank you very much

Side I read somewhere, it remembers the seating position of the drivers through the driver monitoring system. Now that, if true, is top class.
True, 5 profiles can be saved.
Cool little car, will be interesting to see how they get on in the EV market.

Very Good presentation you will give a run to Matt......

Nice car, good video. I come here for the EV content, so good luck with your channel! ✌️
Thank you sir !
Would you go for this or the MG4 Base model vs base model
Boot in bigger in MG, charging is faster (if you need high speed), MG a little better to drive I think.
Glad to hear. One arriving soon 😊. Thanks for that.
Thanks!
No rear wiper on a hatchback - did the rear screen get mucky when you were driving?
No but it’s not ideal, MG, Kia & Hyundai all the same too on their EVs.
doing a drive from Dublin to Bangor will my EV pick up the change in Kph to mph and are the charging network the same as in the south ? any advice
ESB have some in the north now, others can be free. Camera will detect speed signs but the Speedo won’t change to MPH

Rumour has it that this is part of a joint project with BMW and that this car's platform will be used for the new Mini?
There’s a partnership going on for sure!
Need a lot of money in the kitty to buy this.
Boom 💥
Good review, the name Funky Cat would put me off buying it though.
This or MG4, in terms of “fun to drive “?
MG probably has the edge
Lovely gaff Nobby where was that.
See lots of videos coming out now. You might be irelands number one if you can get enough cars .
Bellinter House in Navan
Finally an interesting review after a few dull ones 🤪
🤣
👍
Why would anyone buy this over the MG4? Clearly it's a better car and cheaper
Chinese EVs very good quality. This car is chic. The ladies will be the main customers and why not. Likeable review again nobbs keep it up.

Of course it’ll beep a lot on Irish roads.
Its a vauxhall Adam replica

Looks lovely.
It looks like a modern day Nissan Micra.
It’ll sell by the shed load on looks alone.
Class looking motor . Nobody's laughing now ! These guys are really catching up (some might even say ahead)
Funky by name, funky by nature…
Pass lol
I really dislike that car, it’s like it’s made from spare parts! But the cute look will probably sell like mad

Apparently 70% of sales are for the 40k so far in Ireland
@@NobbyOnCars how many are sold?
