Here's my cover of For Whom The Bell Tolls, one of the famous songs from Ride the Lightning. Even though this might be the simplest song that Metallica has ever written, it's still a heavy metal classic!
Guitars were recorded a 1/4 step up.

KJBPSkipper i have 14 and i can play it's one of the most easiest songs of metallica if not fuel :p
Alejandro Enmanuel Cabrera Contreras fuel is a pain in the ass if you don't have a solid picking hand but other than that it's really easy
The preset I used in this video used the model of the Dual Rectifier and the Vintage 4x12 cab, and the Screamer distortion pedal. Hope that helps!

I have an 81 in the neck as well as an 81 in the bridge, but I would say that either the 85 or 60 would sound good, they just sound good in a different way. They're both designed for metal so you really can't go wrong. Hope that helps!

The part where it walks down with power chords. 0 3 2 1 0 3 2 1. U end with 0 3 2 (on E) 0(on A). I thought it was 0 3 2 1 0 3 2 1 0 1 2 (E) 0 (A). Try it that way it sounds correct
No, this is wrong either ;-) it ends with "0 2 3 0(A)" and "0 2 3 2(B)" , so "Fis - G" and not "F - Fis"

Some songs on Ride the Lightning are tuned up, so I tuned my guitar up to match that tuning :) I used a Digitech Rp1000 for the tones in this video!

What EMG's are those? I got a 60 on the neck and 81 on the bridge of my Ibanez. 81 is absolutely filthy for metal players but thinking about switching to an 85 on the neck...let me know your thoughts on yours.
