1st don't i learned on drums. I literally practiced air drumming lmao. I got behind a kit when i joined a band and they played this and i couldn't believe i got 80% of it right. I know most drummers say it's an easy song but i was like... Wow.
@@cool3929 air drumming is soo useful. i dont have a drum kit and a month ago i had my first gig. i practiced everything air drumming and performed pretty well
@@YYZed12 hey props to you for taking the time to learn a secondary language man! Most native English speakers don’t realize that it is actually one of the hardest languages to learn, especially in the sense of using correct grammar. A lot of native speakers don’t even use proper grammar; let alone people with English as a second language LOL
@@dagnrl215 LOL Thanks bro, speaking English is like very easy for me now :D except when I’m being asked about Past Tense, Grammar questions, other than that I’m completely fine
This was my favorite song to play on drums growing up , pretty simple but so fucking heavy and raw. Was just listening to the song and air drumming hard as hell brought back memories so I instantly looked this up sick job dude
ive been getting more and more into metal over the past few years due to my dad and holy hell have i been wanting to play bass and drums. this just makes the urge more prominent 🤘🏻

I‘m glad this was inspiring! Do it, I think there’s nothing better than playing an instrument :)
2:38 sounds to clean. I think Lars did a buzz type roll with his left hand and then his right to make it sound like a 4stroke roll each time. In fact any time you here what would be that type of roll it's usually him playing a buzz type leadoff with his left hand.

ua-cam.com/video/KTFlZXceC44/v-deo.html I think he first did a 3 stroke roll like I did but then only a 2 stroke roll
@ yes a three stroke roll but the first two are with his left hand.[(double stroke) (first tap lighter than the second then accent the right)] It's possible to squeeze three strokes in with the left and then a single stroke with the right. With all the reverb it was hard to tell with music. Thanks for the link to drums only.
@ oh thanks... Do you think mine Pearl Export EX can sound like your drums because I think it sounds really good and great cover too

Nikolay Yanev thanks! Well in reality a drum never sounds like it does on modern recordings because of Equalizer and Compression. But I think that if you buy Remo Emperor Clear or Pinstripe Clear drumheads for the toms, you‘ll get that fat sound that you hear in this video. Also get a set of Evans control rings, they help you to get a rich sound and eliminate the overtones.
protip: try to prac with a metronome. sounded like you came off the tempo in a few places, but overall a nice cover! keep it up!

Balonkers thanks! Yeah I know what you mean, that’s because I played to the drumless track so I had to follow the other instruments without a metronome
cool but Lars plays with alot of intensity if you know the song you can play with intensity and hit harder its metal thrash, metal is hard hitting, and intensiity, but up to you cool man.
Great job my friend I'm planning on doing that in Instrumental version if I have. You're welcome to check out my drum cover videos in my channel I also did Metallica cover also "Enter Sandman" Instrumental version
I love the view. Makes it much easier to learn.
Perhaps a 3 angle video could also do the trick.

I would say the same thing but my mom won’t buy me a drum set😟
Finally! A video with a camera angle that is helpful when learning to play! When you see your view ticker go up by 300 times, that's me! Thanks!
Thank you, and thanks so much for the “Super Thanks“ money🥹🥹highly appreciate it!

@@dagnrl215 the one at 2:19 always sounded sick af to me
@@ScrappyDew22 agreed probably my favorite fill from this song, the guitar and bass pause makes it sound so perfect
I always air drummed to hard rock songs (Used to listen to metal) like Cinderella, GnR, good stuff now it’s like Blues LOL
Holy fuck the bass drum hits in the chorus is a really good addition, love it man!
Thanks! :) I thought so too, it‘s the only change I would make to an otherwise perfect drum track by Lars
one of my favorite covers of this song!

Very dope. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how Ulrich plays the fill at 1:30 and you really nailed it. Gonna try it out myself🤘🏻

What's the tuning on that snare?
I didn't mean to Yt I don’t know exactly, it‘s an 8“ x 14“ Ludwig black magic snare that I usually tune rather low :)
@ thanks :)
You’re welcome:)
I never knew drums had tuning, learning more every day XD
Simple heavy makes it more better.
I can’t get the 2 kicks in a row after the fill segments
I know Lars uses a double kick. I think it might be possible without but the second pedal certainly helps it
Bro 👊🏻
How many counts is after the second bell??

@ thanks I'm tryna learn it rn
among the first songs i could play,i kow its one of the first that lars could play aswell ;)
very nice
Is this Pearl Export EX drum kit?
