As a Metallica fan since 83 I must say this cover kicked ass. The bass at the beginning and the head banging very reminiscent of Cliff. The singer sounds like a young James Hetfield. The guitars and the drummer- wow. Keep it up young men. #muya
Also, the bass player did the same thing Cliff used to do where he just slaps all four fingers onto his E string. That plus the embellishments here and there where they slightly deviated from the studio version make it pretty clear they've seen their fair share of live Metallica vids.
You are describing a copy, not a cover. To 'cover', is to make it yours. A cover should sound and feel like *you* wrote it. Its not 'better' than the original, its 'your' original. Like Metallica and Am I Evil; it sounds like their own song that they wrote.

They covered this song before, I think in 2017, back when Koby was 2 feet shorter and a fun fact is that he made the same stop, almost at the same time, to put his falling bass strap back on the shoulder 😄. Overall a flawless rendition, as usual, of this metal classic plus "I Choose" is a killer album and been on my playlist since its release, thanx for keeping the Rock banner flying up high.

I mean, its clear as day you guys ooze talent. The singing, the licks, the drumming all spot on. But man, more than that's, i'm not sure I've ever seen people just seen guys love playing live music like yall do. This was infectiously fun to watch.
I like how the singer dude noticed right away when bass player fixed his strap and missed the timing a tiny bit. the details and the journey! this was the first song I performed live with my first band when I was like 17 back in 1987 or so. we were supposed to play an hour set at our drummers Boy Scouts camp. it was a legit Scout camp with cabins and everything. they had a stage built for us when we arrived and once we started playing about in minute into the song a few Boy Scouts started to get their toxic waltz on and I watched the counselors talking to each other in the back and then all of a sudden BAM! plug was pulled they said it was to heavy and shut us down. later that night we canoed over to the girls camp site, broke into thier kitchen/mess hall and literally trashed their kitchen and raided the fridge for food and drinks and took ice cream on our way back to the canoe we heard them chasing us. we were laughing our asses off and paddled back to the boys camp. by this time it was really early in the morning and everyone was asleep.so we gathered our gear, loaded up and TP'd (toilet paper) all the trees and cabins and took off. I think Paul (our drummer) was kicked out of that troop if I remember correctly. this was a great version you guys did here.

I mean, its clear as day you guys ooze talent. The singing, the licks, the drumming all spot on. But man, more than that's, i'm not sure I've ever seen people just seen guys love playing live music like yall do. This was infectiously fun to watch.

I like how the singer dude noticed right away when bass player fixed his strap and missed the timing a tiny bit. the details and the journey! this was the first song I performed live with my first band when I was like 17 back in 1987 or so. we were supposed to play an hour set at our drummers Boy Scouts camp. it was a legit Scout camp with cabins and everything. they had a stage built for us when we arrived and once we started playing about in minute into the song a few Boy Scouts started to get their toxic waltz on and I watched the counselors talking to each other in the back and then all of a sudden BAM! plug was pulled they said it was to heavy and shut us down. later that night we canoed over to the girls camp site, broke into thier kitchen/mess hall and literally trashed their kitchen and raided the fridge for food and drinks and took ice cream on our way back to the canoe we heard them chasing us. we were laughing our asses off and paddled back to the boys camp. by this time it was really early in the morning and everyone was asleep.so we gathered our gear, loaded up and TP'd (toilet paper) all the trees and cabins and took off. I think Paul (our drummer) was kicked out of that troop if I remember correctly. this was a great version you guys did here.

What did I just witness? This is absolutely amazing. You guys sound awesome! You look awesome too. You look just like the guys did when I was in High School. I had a bunch of friends who played Drums and Bass. My class graduated in 93. So I grew up with metal. We all used to hang out behind this strip mall and bring our big radios and play Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth etc... Unless someone has a car lol. Thank you for being so great.
