To be fair, it was Butcher that wanted to make the deal. He called Numan first. And he never told anyone after he didn't go through it. So I understand some of the anger.
Also, Butcher has been awful to Starlight since season 1 and they had only one small moment of levity back in season 2. The others are more used to him, so they are able to move on quicker.

The whole scene with sage and homelander sharing looks I think is showing that they’ve both picked up on a train being the leak. Like sage was already mind probing a train nothing his reactions, then here at the end Homelander picked up on a trains reaction to what they were doing then looked to sage being all like “you seeing this,” confirming she was thinking the same thing he was.
I think if Homelander thought A-Train was the leak, he'd have killed A-Train by now as it would have been the 2nd time A-Train had worked against in him to support Butcher's team.

I highly doubt Sage cares about black people sticking together and I don't know why she's not ratting out A-Train, but I know it's not that. I would imagine the smartest person on Earth would understand how irrelevant race is in the grand scheme of things. And people are united by their beliefs and personal values, and their skin color isn't what contributes to that, it's their background
