@@paulkearns100 It is the Chinese arms factory 66 mark. The one they stamped on many of the Chinese AK 47s (for example the Norinco prebans that were imported into the USA). I am big into the AK, so that is why I like the logo. I appreciate you asking politely, as others have accused me of bad things.....lol. This logo only has 2 6's lol and they for some reason have thought there were 3. Anyhow, if you google: factory 66 AK, you will find lots of info if this interests you. Thanks for watching.
@@2aEdu thanks for responding to my question. I own 2 PT111 they've held there own in my collection, own several Taurus revolves all in 357, I've had no problems. I swear some gun owners act like an old women. Peace, Paul
I am 3 times embarrassed, because i have 3 of them in 9 and 40 different colors, i have some expensive carry guns, but I chose this little cheap and light way girl as my carry guns, now I can carry 2 of them instead of one big and heavy
I own Walther P99 smith and Wesson m&p shield Ruger lc9s I got a canik TP9da. And I love my G2C the best I carry it all the time. Taurus knocked it out the park it's going down in history as one of the greats. My G2C has a trigger pull of 4lbs plus double strike capable.
Yeah, I own a lot of other pistols too, and the G2C is one of the best to shoot. It sure seems that Taurus hit a home run with this one. They needed to turn around from some of their past problems. I hope they can keep up the good work. Thanks for watching.
The average working class family cannot go drop $500 plus on a firearm. Thank you Taurus for making it possible for everyone to exercise their second amendment right to protect themselves and their family. This is awesome!
Your comment is the reason I am buying this gun. My snobby Glock friends are laughing at me but it's ok. I just need something to protect myself and my family. My honda takes me to the same place their Mercedes takes them.
@@robertonavarro9812 yup.... I have had good luck with that firearm. If you practice with it and get good with it, and, if it's reliable,... it will hurt, maime or annihilate the same as any expensive fire arm. The target won't know the difference between a glock19 or a taurus g2!!! May it serve you well!
I caught 2 of these on sale for $179 at a local retailer. Best money I’ve ever spent. They really are very comfortable when carried concealed. Good shooters. Great gun...
Cool. I just try my best to do a good job, and to be honest about stuff. I also do a lot of gun rights videos. I'm glad you liked the video. Thank you for watching.
Good video, you are down to earth and didn't try to come off like a wanna to be opinionated "combat operator" with a 1 minute skulls and fire intro... refreshing!
I was able to pick up 6 of the G2C’s in stainless for $179 each and gave 3 away as gifts to friends, the final three went to my two kids and myself. I purchased them for the great price and good reviews... between my sons gun and mine we have about 2,500 rounds combined without a single malfunction. This is using everything from Tula to premium hollow points. It won’t replace my LCR in 357 or my FN9C in the conceal rotation anytime soon but love the cheapest gun in my collection.
Man! That is so cool to hear. Giving away guns to good people so they can protect themselves. God Bless you for that. I keep shooting mine too. It is so good, especially for the money. I am carrying other guns too, but my G2C has been perfect so far. I actually just took it back out to the range again today, and got footage for more videos. More G2C vids coming soon.
IF most handgun encounters happen within 7-10 yds, then I'm MORE than happy with my 3 G2C's as I quickly close in on 10k rounds!! Ballin' on a budget! Great video & review and Subbed!! God bless!
Every Taurus revolver or semi auto I've owned (and I've had a variety of them in years past) has been a reliable well made handgun. This G2C is yet another fine firearm and only hours ago I was out running some Blazer FMJs through it----second time out shooting since buying it two weeks ago.... VERY GOOD review dude......
Same here I have the pt111g2 had it for about 2 years and I fucking love this gun. All I need to do is put a new sight in the back, the white paint on the back right isn't there I don't know how it got off. But this gun is flawless
I 1st looked @ this & thought it was gonna be a boring video. But dude you brought a lot of information to this video for me that i didn't know. I definitely appreciate it man.
I'm not a fan of Glock's pricing either. But to be fair Taurus doesn't put any money to development. They use proven designs by other gunmakers. And the long term reliability isn't on a par. That said how many people ACTUALLY put 25,000 rounds thru a pistol? Taurus is a GREAT gun for the money.
@@tomswinburn1778 You bring up good points. Its great people have so many choices in guns to buy. The whole Glock to Taurus comparison is a little bit apples to oranges. But it doesn't bother me either. I own both so........... lol
@@tomswinburn1778 Their/Taurus is under new management, with new engineering etc.. so you full of BS. p.s. This gun is better in many ways than the Glock I just sold.
A very good, honest through review. And your right it was very homey & down to earth. You seemed very relaxed, funny and you provided alot of important information. Outstanding video. I subbed.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked the video. This was an honest review and I had fun doing it. I have done quite a few more vids on this gun. I really like it. I appreciate the sub and you watching.
I own 2 G2C's and both had very sticky and notchy triggers. I replaced the trigger on the first one and it now shoots great. The second one had problems going into battery and stovepiping and I sent it back for Warranty repair under the new Lifetime warranty that only changed back to this recently. Taurus makes you pay to send it back to them which is an area they could do better with as proof they want to make sure customers are happy after getting a new gun with defects. When I got my gun back, it still had the notchy and sticky trigger and was still stovepiping and not always going into battery. I had to take it apart and file and polish everything to get it working. The repair sheet they included was not accurate since it said they replaced the trigger bar and adjusted the barrel. They didn't adjust the barrel, rather they replaced it with one without a serial number and it appeared like it was a used one, though it did appear to be in good shape. They didn't mention anything about replacing a mag, yet they did because I number my mags so I can rotate them and one of the mags I got back had no number, though it was a new one and it works. A Lifetime warranty that costs you money to use it and you get less than satisfactory repairs is not worth very much. Perhaps they get so many back that they have forgotten that everyone who is paying to send back a new gun should at least be afforded the courtesy of getting a quality repair job for their troubles.
Thank you. I certainly appreciate your very in formative "common man" type review. I purchased mine very close to the same time you did , so I thank you for the valuable additional information. Good job. 👍
Still having trouble making this firearm jam LMAO, eats everything I feed it, even aluminum cased, perfect all around gun. Thanks again for turning me on to it.
Just purchased a G2C, and love the little gun.... ran a box of cheap TulAmmo without the first hangup! Can't wait to shoot my own through it. I have owned a Taurus 1911 for years now.... with thousands of rounds through it.... You can count on one hand the stove pipe hangups! they were only with cheap ammo in a flawed mag. I would not take my money back for the 1911, and hope to have the same opinion of the G2C. Thanks brother for the info on the warranty! good stuff! Keep up the good work!
Damn if your videos don’t kick ass. Thank you so very much for your time and trouble Although you seem to be enjoying yourself and by the way that joy shines thru in the Videos. Yeah man the enjoyment of your art shows through, yeah,….I said Art. And it is . Thank you again sir.

@@2aEdu yes sir. 35 and never wanted to touch a gun. Now I decided I'd like to learn. I'm a mechanic so I think the workings just drew me in. Just like watches that I didn't want anything to do with until a year ago.
@@babyneon Yeah I do a lot of my own mechanics work on my trucks and equipment. I get what you mean. You will probably like guns. You will probably also want more than one. lol
Thanks for all the information, as this warranty stuff can get confusing. I've had my G2C for a few years and yet to have any problems with. As you said, it takes the P226 mags. I have two P226 TacOps pistols and they have a 20 round mags that work flawlessly in the Taurus. I'm sure you will enjoy this pistol, and it is very comfortable in the hand. Cheers!
No prob. I tried to explain it all the best i could. But at least the year is back to a Limited Lifetime. Its an improvement. Ok, so there are 20 rounds mags. That's even better than 18. I knew I would get certain details wrong, and tried to admit to such on camera. lol. I will look into getting a 20 round Sig mag. I hope I enjoy the G2C too. Thanks for the input and for watching.
Yea i agree, the best carry gun out there. I carry in the pocket with a Desantis superfly pocket holster........and the best of all, i actually carry it everyday/everyday. Great review!
Like mine fine. Very reliable after 350 plus rounds. Stainless rod, polished feed ramp, thoroughly cleaned, runs great! Clinger IWB at four o'clock. Great value!!! Got stainless model..flash!
I’m always going on these sites telling how much I love mine, and I just noticed something today that will make a difference for a lot of women...and small-handed men. I was dry-fire practicing with my Sig p938 and p238, my two carry guns bcs I’m small. Couldn’t drop the magazine easily from the 938 without major grip change. Got out my home defense g2c and range gun g2s, dropped mags easily without shifting my hold. The p938 is about 1/2” or so WIDER in that throat area between mag release button and back strap! No wonder I don’t really care for it in spite of how nice it is...the p238 and the g2s are the regular carry guns now(-:
That is a good point you bring up. The G2C does narrow the grip in just the right area. It is comfortable to shoot and release the mag. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
in addition to common Lakeline mods (guide rod, fiber optic site, striker guide) ...I also recommend the Hogue grip and the trigger by KeepTinkering. My third G2c had a machine burr on the barrel feed ramp that was causing FTF...I took care of it myself. Flawless so far over last 500 rounds. Good gun....good review.
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you liked it. There seem to be some common mods for these guns. I have heard from a few people about the Keep Tinkering trigger. Mine is going to stay stock for now. But I may upgrade it later. Or I may buy another one at this point. I'm really liking it. The burr doesn't sound good, but not too big of a deal either. This is why we need to test our guns before relying on them. Good thing you were aware of what was going on.
The hype has been the Taurus pt111 Millenium Pro G2 or the remake renamed the G2C are great. I’ve owned a mill pro version for three years and for the money it’s fantastic. Accurate, Comfortable, Good trigger/pull/reset, reliable and looks decent. The one downside is the finish isn’t good. If this gun gets wet you must dry it off completely. If any moisture gets on it rust will form within a day or two. Easily fixed though. For $154 at RK or $199 everywhere else, this is the best bang for the buck within pistol parameters. The mags are difficult to put twelve into even with a speed loader. Suggest eleven for break in. If a light primer hit happens simply pull the trigger again which is an added feature some higher end guns don’t offer. The gun is true and reliable.
Yeah you bring up a bunch of good points. I have noticed the finish on mine did scratch very easy. I keep my guns wiped down though, so should be a huge prob for me. Thanks for the info.
I sold my S&W Shield to buy the G2C myself. I bought a Walther CCP M2 instead primarily due to my wife's peference for the Walther which I like very much as well. Love it actually. However it costs twice as much as the G2C and doesn't hold 12 rounds or have the restrike feature which enables the G2C to be used for dry fire practice endlessly without ever racking the pistol using a bore style laser and the software that comes with it to evauate your shooting. Even if you have a dozen 9mm semiautomatics you should probably get the G2C just for those features. It's still on my list although I don't need another 9mm.
@@guerom1367 - Most people don't understand how the trigger on the G2C works. I see people firing it wrong at the range. Somebody put up a range video review of the G2C recently and filmed themselves without knowing that they weren't firing this pistol correctly. It has a hybrid type SA/DA trigger that can recock the striker without recocking the slide. To make that work the takeup on the first shot is long. However after that the reset is very short. Trouble is I think in many shooters mind they've think that they need to let that trigger out even after the reset believing they have to make up for the long takeup. That's not not necessary at all. It resets quickly and easily. I had a S&W Shield myself but I let it go to get the G2C which I see as the better weapon by a good bit. Anyhow, fool with the G2C trigger a bit and you may change your mind as well. The 12 round magazine was also a game changer for me and I have several other features I like better on the G2C over the S&W Shield.
@@guerom1367 Let us know how it goes with your new G2C. I don't think you will be disappointed. My biggest complaint about the Shield 9mm is that the slide release basically locks the slide and requires a lot of thumb pressure or two thumbs and a change of your wrists grip position to unlock it. That's plain dumb in a self defense weapon that should be both quick and easy to operate.. Add to that mine was not all that accurate. If you grab that slide you will see it fits so loose that you can rock it side to side. I never felt good about that. You can argue that everything might center up when the slide is in motion but I never felt confident about that. If you look at all the effort the high end 1911 manufacturers go to to get the slide to fit tighly over the bushing it makes you wonder what S&W was thinking when they did that. Of course the mechanics of the 1911 are different so it's not a 1 for 1 comparison but it's notworthy. KCguns was one of the first reviewers to really give the G2C a really good review when compared to other guns so i asked him what he thought mght be the weakest link in the G2C construction and he said he thought the slide coating might no be as durable as the more expensive guns but he wasn't totally sure about that. At one of the local gun shops several months ago I was fooling around with the G2C. The shop has lots of guns but also has lot of expensive guns as well and is sort of a high end gun shop. After fooling around with it for a long while I handed it back to him and said "Man, I love this gun." Well, I expected some snooty remark about how it was pretty decent for a cheap gun but instead his reply was "Everybody loves that gun." He went further to say that if you looked at the build quality compared to other polymer pistols it was the same or similar quality as other more expensive guns. He even took several apart to show me. He was right I think. However I do think it's possible that manufacturers like Sig and H&K may be using a better polymer compound but that is just my guess. Let us know how you like your new G2C. I'm really looking forward to hearing what you have to say.
Thanx for the info, just picked up the G2S, have about 150 rounds thru it with no issues so far, I did upgrade the recoil spring with a lakeline just to be on the safe side, but no issues so far !
Since I did this video I have registered several Taurus pistols warranty online with no problems. There must have been something temporary going on with their website at the time I filmed this video.
I got mine as part of the recall. It's easy to shoot, fun to shot, eats ammo like nothing. Weight is good, fits good in my clobbers. I like the loaded tab indicator, the safety is easy to work. If you want to get a first gun, go for it.
I just bought the G2C today at the ATP Guns and Range shop in Goose Creek, SC. I haven't shot it yet, but the gun feels good. I watched your video to see if I bought a decent gun for the money. Thanks for the information on the warranty. My owner's manual had the newer Limited Lifetime Warranty language in the back of the book. I have already registered for the warranty on the Taurus site. Other videos were of shooters making fun of the Taurus. I also liked your comment about making the practicing of our 2nd Amendment rights available to more people for personal and family protection. I bought mine for strictly home protection and for personal protection because I am a national political candidate. Again, thanks for your opinions on the gun.
I was leery of this gun when I first bought it. I too had heard so many bad things. Now that I own it and have shot it a good bit, I love it. Very comfortable to shoot and no problems yet. Yes the Bill of Rights protects all of us. The greatest of us, and the least of us. The rich, and especially the poor. Good luck on your election race. We need more pro-gun people in gov't. ( many more.)
Cajun Well, yea... That means even the guy working at McDonald for minimum wage can AFFORD to protect his property and his family from THREATS. I bought mine and I Love it... It FEELS just right holding it. Have a great day, now, Mr. PipeSmoker... :)
I like the trigger. The reset is very short. The restrike feature is what makes the take-up long. After that it fires and resets like a pistol far above the price range for the G2c. With restrike you can dry fire practice with this pistol and a barrell laser until the end of time without ever spending a dime on ammunition. Add the 12 round magazine and this is a total winner.
I shot mine today. The trigger is great when shooting it. Reset is great. I really like it so far. In addition to the Taurus 12 rd mags, I also ran one of the Mec-Gar 20 rd 226 mags and it ran flawless. I was able to work out that little hitch in the trigger by dry firing it for a couple weeks before I could get out and shoot it. So far I'm really loving this little "budget" gun.
@@2aEdu - The thing that I like about what Taurus has been doing the last couple of years is they are waking the entire industry up. The last 4 pistols they have released, the G2C, the TH9, the TX22 and the Spectum have all been exceptional weapons especially at their price point. The Spectrum is not a pistol I have as much familiarity with but it as gotten good reviews and I think it is also very popular so I included it here.. With the quality, precison and sophistication of modern manufacturing equipment there is absolutley no reason why almost any polymer pistol in the under $600.00 category should not be better made, safer, more accurate and more affordable than what is on the market now. Taurus is clearly proving that point in a big way. I first handled a G2C within weeks of buying an S&W Shield 9mm. Within 30 seconds I realized it was better laid out and a much better functioing pistol than the S&W Shield. Plus it holds more rounds and has the restrike feature that enables you to practice dry fire with a barell laser without ever having to rack the pistol between shots or buying any ammo. Hard to overlook the value in that feature. In comparison the S&W Shield is very difficult to rack and the slide release is not a release at all but a lock that requires a change in hand position and for most of us two thumbs to exert enough pressure to release the slide. Add to that the slide is so loose on that pistol you can rock it side to side easily. When you consider that the S&W Shield is designed as a self defense weapon that should be easy to operate and accurate those flaws are indefensible. I don't know how it compares side by side with the G2C as far as accuracy goes but my Walther CCP M2 is significantly more accurate than the S&W Shield and at the same price. So, with all of that going on I am very happy to see Taurus shaking up the entire industry for the better. That should be good for all pistol shooters no matter what brand of gun they prefer.
Awesome. Great to hear you are getting into pistols. Practice with it so you can shoot it better and trust it in case you need t to save a life. 👍I have many more Taurus videos if you are interested in my playlist. : ua-cam.com/play/PLm9cl_nZqo_jpHZDsp_czkAX0E7D40QgU.html
@@thearchitect817 Thanks. I thought so too after reading and watching reviews by people with many years experience with various types of guns. When you have longtime Glock owners saying that the G2c is now their favorite edc, that's saying something.

I had a friend sell me one for $100. Its awesome, I really love because it just works!! its not the highest quality gun sure, but it will eat any ammo and the mags are cheap too. I have sigs and S&W's as well which I love but I would recommend this gun to anyone. for what it offers you cant go wrong!!! great video Man
Sounds like you got a great deal. I agree. For what it is and what it costs, the G2C is a nice little gun. I also have other brands of pistols, and I like those too. But dollar for dollar the G2C seems to be right up there. Thanks for watching.
In my early twenties I purchase the original PT111 millennium pro, after 300 rounds I noticed a frame crack near the extractor, sold it and I swore I would never buy another Taurus, 3 years later I bought a m85 Taurus 38 revolver, very reliable and accurate for a snub nose 38, I am now warming up to the idea of the G2C (my EDC is a CZ75 rami) but I figure what the hell for $200 I'm willing to give the G2C a try.
Yeah Taurus has had some real black eye guns in the past. I also have had a bad opinion of them over the years. I have a m85 Taurus snub nose too. This G2C is my second Taurus. I'm where you are. For $200, it sure seems pretty cool. I'm giving it a chance. Thanks for your input and sharing your Taurus thoughts.
The original PT111 Millennium PRO had teething problems, and ended up in a major recall. It was an oops. They took their hits, looks like they adjusted and made it a much better pistol.
@@2aEdu mine has been outstanding. Recently took it out to our local free open range, which I was surprised to find. Between the two of us, we went through 800 rounds for the first foray. Bang every time, ejected every time, casings eject vigorously. Two lanes down, a fella who had been shooting his three pistols, two Glocks and an M&P Shield watched us firing, got curious and approached us. He asked what we were shooting, and I showed him my G2C. He kinda rolled his eyes that I had a Taurus, and I chuckled. We had a conversation about the pistol. I explained that we were merely breaking in my new pistol, and would he like to take a turn? He said sure, why not? He pulled a box of the 50 Federal FMJs, and we loaded my 3 mags. I told him that the trigger would feel completely different than what he's used to, but have at it. (For those that don't know, the magazine springs are quite strong, and I use an ADCO Super Thumb ST1 to assist in loading, crucial during a heavy loading session! Amazon carries them for less than $10.) So, he lined 'er up and let it fly. After the three mags were emptied, we loaded up the rest of the rounds, and he ran her dry. When we retrieved the target, his first 6 rounds were off by a few inches as he figured out the trigger and the sights. The remainder of his rounds were cluster in the target in a group roughly 6" in span, which I thought was pretty good for a first session with the pistol. He asked the price, and I asked him to guess. He thought $350, and was shocked when I told him I paid $230 at Cabela's, and available now at Rural King stores for $180. He looked like a man inspired. While we policed our brass, we both commented it was a good day, and the Taurus was fun to shoot.
It's got a decent amount of weight to as well. Or at least it feels heavier than my Walther ppq, or I'm just a wuss. Lol. I like the looks of it too. It's a sexy firearm imo
The wifey has a pink g2c, I like it so much.....I aim to get me one. We currently have a handful of 380s and love them. Tough to beat lifetime warranty too. Some may call g2c a budget buy, for people who can’t afford an expensive gun. I disagree I’m not poor, but I don’t waste money on a name. All gun manufacturers have some problems here and there, that being said I know Taurus has stepped up big time in the last couple years. Parts may be made in Brazil, but assembled in Florida with better Assembly and inspection than in the past, and the aftermarket parts Available are insanely great upgrades.
I really like my G2C too. This was my first Taurus video. Since then, I have done about 40 more vids. Yes, I agree that Taurus has stepped it up a lot in the past couple years. The price is great and plenty of aftermarket parts. I agree with you. Thanks for watching.
$200 and two 12 rd mags, great value. Have over 350 rds, no hiccups, no misfeeds, shoots pretty good. Did change out the Recoil assembly and striker to a stainless, put cheap fiber optics, all E-Bay, now my desert backpack gun. Installed a Asmund short stroke trigger, it helped a lot. About $20. I actually chose this gun over a Walther PPS.
The difficulty with operating the Slide Lock stems from the fact that the Recoil Spring Assemblies that come with the new G2C's are way stiffer than the former PT-111 Recoil Spring Assemblies. FYI, I read a post where an owner who needed a new Recoil Spring Assembly was told by Taurus to Contact LAKELINE, LLC because those replacement springs were actually "On BackOrder with Taurus". Anyway, after installing my new all stainless steel Lakeline Recoil Spring Assembly, it was much easier to rack and way easier to operate the Slide Lock control feature.
I've had this gun for several months and love it! My recoil assembly did bend after my first trip to the range (300 rounds) however I replaced it with the stainless assembly from lakeline LLC and have since put over 1000 more rounds through it with no issue. The only other thing I didn't like was the trigger "hitch" however I also purchase a new striker guide from lakeline LLC and the trigger now has no "hitch". My opinion ... You cannot get a better gun for the price. I'd put it up against a Glock any day.

I've had the g2s for over a year and I love it. Ive put a light and a stainless follower. Shoots like a dream. The only part I don't like is the finish on the slide.
I am in for about 500 rounds on mine and that little catch you are talking about goes away around the 200 mark. I can't lie for the price it is a good little banger.
For the people who’s embarrassed saying they carry this gone bro my advice is stop that nonsense. For a gun that bang all the time no feeding problem in have a safety I trust my self on this gun I don’t have to worry bout having this gun going off because there’s no safety on it.
I carry PT111 G2 now over my 1911, and hands down over a Glock. It is cost effective, and works well. Over 1000 rounds with no issues. My wife has hers as well.
@@2aEdu My only issue is finding a holster. I have made my own and purchased an IWB for carry. Can't seem to find one that is comfortable for my wife though.
@@jefferygreen4740 I have also noticed there aren't many holsters avail for the G2C. Which I don't understand why not, since it is a very popular selling gun.
I did not initially know either. I registered mine 2 days from the 30 day limit. I was hoping me mentioning it would help someone. Thanks for watching.
This is my first gun. The hitch trigger is still there after 300 rounds and an additional 300 trigger pulls. The mags are super tight but loosen some when loaded for a while. 115 grain cheap ammo has a tendency to have failure to load.
I would try some more dry firing. Luckily I haven't had problems with mine like that with the failure to feed. If it doesn't straighten itself out, it does have a life warranty. Thanks for watching.
I have 1 and have about 1000 rounds through it and the only issue I had is at about 600 rounds the locking block roll pin starts to walk out of the left side of the frame, I just tap it back in and it runs fine, no issues w the recoil spring assembly I might try some locktite on the pin but its my EDC and so for I like it

After you've used it a bunch. The g2c will make you wonder why glocks are so pricey.
Cool. I like it so far.

Same here. Love it!
That sucks. I hope mine never breaks. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for all the information, as this warranty stuff can get confusing. I've had my G2C for a few years and yet to have any problems with. As you said, it takes the P226 mags.
Who is RK ? At $154

I love mine. I replaced my Shield with this. So far, no regrets.
Good deal. I also have a Shield 9mm. I really like my shield. I also am really liking the G2C so far. Both great guns.
Shield is a much better gun ...this g 2 sucks mine rusted out in 4 weeks

Well, yea...
This is my first pistol, just bought it last week. I'm really happy with it. Just need to get some more range time in 👍👍

The original PT111 Millennium PRO had teething problems, and ended up in a major recall. It was an oops. They took their hits, looks like they adjusted and made it a much better pistol.
@@jimmellenberger8505 Yeah it appears so. I sure hope so anyways.
Amazon carries them for less than $10.)
So, he lined 'er up and let it fly.

I bought this firearm. Feels better in my hand better than all the Glocks I've tried. Besides the fact it's 200/300 less than Glock
I agree. Feels great. And cheap too.
And shoots accurate too
@@yellowveedub Yes, I have a first shots video coming out tomorrow. Sneak preview: It was great :)
It's got a decent amount of weight to as well. Or at least it feels heavier than my Walther ppq, or I'm just a wuss. Lol. I like the looks of it too. It's a sexy firearm imo
@@yellowveedub It doesn't feel too heavy, but just right. It also has very low felt recoil for a smaller 9mm.
Good information on the G2C.
Cool. Thanks for watching.
It's my favorite EDC, been carrying it for 2 years, it replaced my Glock 19. Dependable and concealable. I also open carry it.
Cool. Thats good to hear.
Thanks for watching.
Look into the ps9 dagger. 300$ 9mm, just another good budget gun.
@@206guy7 Def want one, as soon as they become avail.
Thank you for the info....it's my son and myself's 1st gun
No problem. Congrats. I love my G2C
I just shot mine for the first time today. Loved it. I'm going to run mine stock for awhile, but the mods are cool. I keep hearing good things.
Anyway, after installing my new all stainless steel Lakeline Recoil Spring Assembly, it was much easier to rack and way easier to operate the Slide Lock control feature.
yes i agree that the recoil spring is high tension. that is crazy that they would tell someone to get an aftermarket spring. I'm not surprised though.
Well done sir appreciate all of very important information
No problem. I'm glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching.
One thing I like about them is they take sig p226 mags. And I have a legion. I've been waiting to pick one up because of that.
Yes that is a big plus. I'm liking mine so far. We will see.......
@@2aEdu I did a video on it around Christmas . It's in my p226 legion review.
@@BigBadJones Thanks, I will go look for it
@@2aEdu lol. It wasn't much of a review, mostly just an excuse to make a shooting video. I really like my brother in law's g2 with the tan polymer. I just have a hard time deciding what gun I want next. Lol
@@BigBadJones I just watched it. Cool video.
Me too. I just put another one in my cart a few minutes ago. I think I'm going to grab another Star Bm on sale at Classic for $179. The one I have is a nice little shooter. The more guns I get, the more different ones I realize that I want.
Where have you been bro I already shot 5k round on mind in no failed to feed so yes this is reliable gun in I bought a P226 magazine for 18 rounds for this weapon cuz me 3$ on sleeve & this is my concealed carry gun all day everyday 24/7 baby.
Nice, that's good to hear. I've been around. Been shooting a lot of pistols for a long time. I show the 20 round Sig mag with sleeve in my follow up G2C video I put out a couple days ago.
The gun is worth 400 it shoots, and performs as well as any other sub compact pistol has a great feel, and the trigger is easy to learn and follow up second shots are smooth once you get the reset figured out. One inch groups at 25yrs
I agree. the G2C is manufactured in Brazil. They are increasing production in the USA though. The Spectrum is made here as well as the newer TX22(which I have & love).
Yeah. It says Brazil. I don't know why, but so many people take me task on that.....lol I like my Spectrum so far, and I want a Tx22.
Taurus seems to be makeing good stuff awsome man 👍🏻
Yes they seem to be doing a lot better than in the past.
This is my first gun, the problem is, the wife likes it, gun shopping again.
Haha. Thats a good problem. Always a good thing when the wife likes guns.
I have the same problem wife likes mygirst gun shoopping again
Hector conty yeah, I’m thinking the Glock 26 or 43 for my conceal carry, but man once you start with one or two guns, you need a shotgun for home defense, and a rifle 😇

I just ordered one today. It's my first pistol. I got the green and black model. Cost me $220 on Gunbroker. The green model was the cheapest. I can't wait to get my new pistol. I ordered some Hornady hollow points too. A box of 25 was $30.
Cool. I like the G2c. I have a lot of videos on these pistols. Check my Taurus playlist if you are interested.
Great video, gotta say though, you're sporting the Philip Seymour Hoffman and Michael Moore look here.
Thanks. i have been told more than once that i look like Philip Seymour Hoffman. Michael Moore.........I hope not. lol
Thanks for the video! I'm not really big into handguns so my opinion of them doesn't come from shooting tons of them but from the ones I have shot and owned the Taurus handguns are really good. I've owned very expensive 1911's, Sig Sauer, Glocks, s&w's and so forth and my favorite of all of them was the Taurus th9. I may get one of these to keep in my hunting bag.
No prob. i'm glad you liked the video. I also own a bunch of different brands and models of guns, but the G2C is one of the more comfortable to shoot. I will have more updates of me shooting it soon. i work a lot in the summer. (Actually a ton. lol)
U sir are ok a true gentleman.
Thank you. 👍
Taurus is going to put a couple of companies out of business...
I've been thinking the same thing
Lots of good info. Thanks!
Cool. Thanks for watching.
Great video... thanks for the updated info.
No problem. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
I bought the Lakeline stainless striker guide /sleeve thingy, $16. No more wonky trigger feel! Drops right in a G2C without the silly slide lock.
Cool. I will have to check that out. Thanks for watching.
I picked up the previous model, the G2, a few years ago, just out of curiosity. It's a great little gun. The price makes it a steal.
Cool. It is cheap and seems well built.
@@2aEdu Yes. While mine has not been heavily used, it has more rounds through it than most owners will fire through theirs. I've experienced no failures.
@@jaydee5156 Good deal. I was able to run a few rounds through mine. great so far.
I love that it comes with a free plastic

My wife has a 2015 Taurus PT111 millininal G2 9MM it came with a lifetime warranty in 2015 she paid $360...Taurus makes some of the very best 9MM & 40 Caliber hand guns in the World hands down...she Carries the Hornady Critical duty 135 gr +P Ammo
That is awesome. Good to know she is well protected. My wife also carries a 9mm. The Walther CCP. I got her that one before I bought my G2C.
I’ve owned many different pistols expensive and inexpensive. I bought my g2c about 2 months ago and am very impressed so far. Will buy after market trigger and recoil spring for 50 bucks but who can beat the deal.
That's good to hear. i have also looked at aftermarket trigger and spring. I think I may get both in the future.
Price's are going up because of how good the gun is. In a couple years I see it a 500 or more. I bought mine for 360 in 2021.
Over 1500 rounds later, and only 2 rounds failed. They were oversized reloads. Great work Taurus 👍
Thanks for the info awesome
No problem. Thanks for watching.
Taurus g2c is the next gen 3 glock
I've had the g2s for over a year and I love it. Ive put a light and a stainless follower. Shoots like a dream. The only part I don't like is the finish on the slide.
I love mine too, and I agree about the finish.
I am in for about 500 rounds on mine and that little catch you are talking about goes away around the 200 mark. I can't lie for the price it is a good little banger.
Yeah, I ended up smoothing mine out. Yes for the price it is good. Mine has been great so far.
Great review, thanks!
Thank you, I appreciate it.

Right on. I have nothing against Glock, they are also great guns. But I do think my G2C is more comfortable. Thanks for watching.
I didn’t know about the registration... thanks man!!
I have 1 and have about 1000 rounds through it and the only issue I had is at about 600 rounds the locking block roll pin starts to walk out of the left side of the frame, I just tap it back in and it runs fine, no issues w the recoil spring assembly I might try some locktite on the pin but its my EDC and so for I like it
Good deal. Thanks for the info. I bet that pin is a cheap part. Might be a good idea to get a spare....just because.
You're a cool dude. I subbed because you describe the gun in normal human terms.Sorry about the love of glocks...
Thank you. I appreciate it. BTW.....I'm not a Glock fanboy and rarely do I do a video on Glocks.......lol
