Stunning painting of a beautiful dog! I hope to paint my two and another we lost recently. If I can get anywhere near that level of detail...I think I would wet myself.
Whenever I watch any of your videos I’m amazed at how good they are. Your attention to detail is incredible, I only started drawing and painting during lockdown so I doubt I will ever be as good but thank you for the inspiration.
This is stunning, there is something about your acrylic paintings that is so crisp and clean I use water mixable oils but this makes me want to try acrylics xx
Nice diffused light so avoid strong sun which can cause shadows and high contrast. Make sure the camera is no higher than the subjects face so get down to their level or stand them on something higher like a log, rock or bench. Treats/toys can get a nice alert look...sometimes a helper to have them on a leash and prevent them moving about can help or otherwise just teaching a nice stay but many pets aren't taught this..or very well.

Funnily enough, I have wondered about trying the water soluble oils too....
