@@cassydraws I'm thrilled really. I have been attempting dog portraits but can't seem to put it all together correctly. You have a great teaching style and many videos I can learn from. :)
I hope google translate does this correctly: Muchas gracias por las palabras amables. ¡Me alegro mucho de que te guste mi trabajo! Agradezco el apoyo! :)
Thank-you so much! I do have a few pet portrait videos available on my channel, (I believe I have a section dedicated to just house pets!) as well as videos on my Patreon! ♥ I hope this helps.
@@cassydraws they are fine. I wish I can show here. Currently following Angela Anderson and her tutorials. Do you have any Facebook or instagram group page??
Giiirl, I've got fibromyalgia as well as lupus, Raynaud's, Sjogren's, hypothyroidism... and the list goes on. I FEEEL ya!! I do hope you take magnesium and tumeric supplements! If not, they really help with fibromyalgia! 🤗🤗🤗
Hi there! I'm sorry that you have to experience the struggle that is chronic illness. I hope it has been manageable and kind to you lately. ♥ I do take magnesium and find it super helpful - but have been looking into adding turmeric too! :) Thank-you so much for the recommendation! ♥
I am so happy to hear that Beth! Thank-you for watching and enjoying them. :) I use a Molotow Acrylic Pump Marker, in Fine White! They are linked in my descriptions, as well as on my website too. I hope this helps - they're a game changer!
Hi. I'm trying to achieve this brown/red color of the fur with acrylic paint. Could you give me a tip what color are you using here? I was trying to mix brown and yellow and it didn't look right :( thx a lot. Really great work. I have learnt a lot.
Hi there! Of course, happy to help. :) There are multiple browns used throughout so I was always adjusting the colour slightly, but in order to achieve the reddish brown I would mix burnt umber, burnt sienna, and yellow/white together to give a good base. Once it has dried, I would glaze burnt sienna in over top as is, to add more red tone to the selected area. I find sienna to be a very translucent colour that doesn’t apply well on its own, but works better as a glaze. You can always start with a white base, and add in the red colour on top as well as an alternative method. I hope this helps. :)
I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge- good video. Just a suggestion. I would find it helpful if you paused to show the brushes you are talking about and if you are talking about a brush stroke technique, if you would slow the video speed down to demo it once or twice as you are talking about it before you resume the time lapse. I’m an acrylic painter and am always wanting to learn more and improve my own practice.
Thank-you so much for the kind words and feedback! ♥ I definitely appreciate you taking the time to do so, and will be sure to implement this in the future! Thank-you so much! :)
Hi there! :) 99% of my portraits or paintings I will use the grid method. I find it to be the most helpful, and accurate when creating larger pieces! I took my reference, made a grid, and sketched it from there! I hope this helps! ♥
I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thank-you for your feedback! I try to keep the videos at a certain length, as a lot of people get bored and tune out - but I will definitely keep this noted! Thank-you! 💙
