I got my cube to entertain myself in the woods, and it's been haunting my dreams for a week now. Thanks to you I've solved this thing. I had a parity problem with the trapezoid pieces though, which messed me up on the 3rd layer edge position step for a whole day before I realized it!
THANK YOU. I’ve had this cube for 4 years and it’s been scrambled for most of that. I FINALLY just solved and I wouldn’t have been able to without this. Such a great feeling!
Good instructions. Understood the moves even before I got the cube in hand. Went through all three tutorials and then decided to buy the ghost cube. 100% recommended.
All three videos were awesome at helping me solve this thing. I learned from the flaws as much as everything else. It’s a tricky puzzle to keep in a moveable condition, and giving all the parts names and descriptions is key to navigating this thing. Diamond, Nevada Shape, church shape, chip, trapezoid, long side left, long side right. Good stuff! A like and a follow from me!
Was finally able to solve it, thank you so much. I will say I got super discouraged for about half an hour at the placement phase of the third layer corners because when I got one in the right place and you said to put it in the top right, I put it in the top right from a top view, rather than a front view and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Also turned out I had trapezoids swapped and the triangle swap so that was fun to figure out as well, shout out to the comments for the trapezoid fix
If you are having trouble with solving this, it’s probably because some pieces are placed incorrectly. Place the puzzle on a surface and look from its side view and look for bumps. That’s how i found my mistakes.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I’ve been trying to find a tutorial and eventually gave up(years ago) and then I can across this video!! This is very helpful and thanks for mentioning the parities.
Have u solved it? I got the same issue. I have two adjacent sides which shud swap their positions. Church and home shapes are at the correct place with correct orientations. Rectangle and trapezoid shud swap their places. I scrambled everything and tried again and that time church and roof top pieces were wrong. So there is a parity. This has nothing to do with the wrong trapezoid issue
I have done the r, u2, r prime algorithm but I got two correct pieces so which one should I keep it in front of me or do I have to do another algorithm
Side note: when orienting the last layer corners, i personally find it easier to flip the cube so that the last layer is on the bottom, and do R' D' R D until the corner is in place and then bring the next one over to place and so on and so forth. I learned F2L so thats just my preferred method
My last layer look like this: AXB XXX CXD (view from above) x= solved edges C and D are two triangels which need to be switched. Anyone know the solution?

If your cube has fallen apart and you reassembled it scrambled, then you have a PLL parity, which is impossible to solve on a ghost cube, you will have to remove both pieces and put them in their correct spot.
@@brendanhaidenhofer344 Just try skipping the two edges for now (act like they're solved) and try to finish the rest of the cube. If you can solve everything but the two edges, then your cube was assembled incorrectly or something so you'll have to fix that.
let me try to help you.. first of all, are all four edge properly positioned? if they did not look what @Shawn Decker says.. i suppose they are, and you have problem where 2 are orient ok, while 2 are not, and you stuck in a loop (algoritam R U2 R' U' R U' R' does not work)..your parity problem is very likely trapezoid pieces though (they are very similar).. one trapezoid on first layer is from third and vice versa. ( i assume you did not mix "roof" and "rectangle" piece). One more thing, i've found a way to check such things..my ghost cube It has silver reflective stickers that show thin print lines. if lines on each side of the cube match, piece is probably in the right place
For some reason when I am on the last layer I have one corner left to orient and once I do the bottom layer is messed up again. I noticed that once I did the R’ U’ R U again to solve the bottom layer the corner on the last layer was back to its non oriented place. What can I do to fix this?
