I got my ghost cube today and while trying to solve it, 4-5 different times during the same solve I confused one piece for another and ran into all sorts of parities once I got to the final layer. Once I figured out my mistakes, I swapped them out and then finally solved the puzzle. I know every piece is unique but man, there are about 3-4 different pairs that look almost identical.
🎈I finally did it!! everyone was calling me mad when I was just lost in this😂for whole day .,i find it bit difficult but thnku u taught this very nicely🎊and this was damnnnn interesting!!love from India🇮🇳
For the last layer edges, you could try Rw U R' U R U2 Rw'. The edge in the top always stays in the same place but the one towards you moves clockwise. You'll understand when you do it. Also Rw means holding the R and M layers and moving it. This by the way is for the mass-produced Ghost Cube.
Wow, that puzzle looks like a lot of fun. When I first saw this cube in your unboxing i thought "Holy crap, that looks nearly impossible." After this great tutorial I feel as if I could actually complete it. Keep doing what you're doing, SuperAntonioVivaldi, I love your videos!
Now that Meffert's is mass producing these, this tutorial is going to be invaluable. I can solve the axis cube, so I think I'm ready for the challenge. I already ordered two (the black and white twins).
Now that it's mass produced, I may do a reboot as, thinking at the time that this was a rare puzzle to have, this was more a walkthrough then a tutorial.
I still have an empty space on my shelf in the exact shape of the Bermuda collection, so that's likely to come in the future. When it does, I'll get going on the Saturn tutorial :)
I love this puzzle. I hope it does get mass produced. And Jon,do you have any of the Dayan Bermuda cubes? could do with a tutorial on the Bermuda Saturn :0)
I have finished it, but only one center is rotated 180 degrees. I dont know if this is supposed to be possible to fix or not, but i looked closely and all the sides are PERFECTLY flat and all the specific pieces are EXACTLY where they should be from what i know
It is possible to have a single center rotated 180º. You can have any even number of 90º rotations. So, for example, you can have two centers rotated 90º, or a single center rotated 180º, but never a single center rotated 90º. @Lucy Hunt: you can easily find algs to rotate a single center 180º online ;) The one I use is (R L U2 R' L' U) x2
hi you may remember me from the 7x7 question which your video helped a ton btw but i have a problem with the ghost cube this time, i dont know how this is possible but i scrambled the cube and started solving the cube then i was solving the last four corners, i was on the last step and when i did the corner algorithm and there was two corners needed to be swapped. Is there a possible way to fix this?
it s a nice tutorial but i think u re making it look like a lot more difficult than it is. There are many ways/tricks, especially during building the second and last layer with which u can make your life a lot easier without having to guess if this is the correct piece for the slot or if this is properly oriented and thus u can solve the cube without being rush in approximately 4 mins.however this is still the best tutorial i ve seen for the ghost cube so good job :)
SuperAntoniovivaldi :D the tutorial is still gr8 though and pretty easy to follow so eventually it doesnt matter :P. Anyway good luck with your 7x7 hope u solve it soon. (btw do u happen to know any1 who can make the 4x4 or 2x2 ghost cube? the one who made my 3x3 says he no longer makes any of them)
The maker prefers not to be publicly named, so e-mail me at superantoniovivaldi@gmail.com and I'll let you know. Although I suspect it may be the same person who made your 3x3x3...
So I completed f2l but when I try solve the the last layer everything gets solved except for one edge is flipped and 2 corners are swapped. How can I solve that?
Very cool, thanks for sharing that :) I agree with you, though. To use a lengthy algorithm like that instead of the RiDiRD must have been because of early learning and familiarity. But, any algorithm is good to have around, you never know when you may need it :)
Yea. Remember, this is just a 3x3 dressed up in a fancy tuxedo, so theoretically, you can apply exactly the same algorithms that you use for a 3x3 with this. The challenge comes from keeping your perspective.
so i have been working on this and had the same problem. though top center was rotated so i tried the rotation alg and still 2 edges out and 2 edges in. come to find out, one of the trapezoids in the bottom layer was supposed to be in the top layer. they were so closely shaped that I didnt realize that they were switched. after that, just switched those two out, rebuilt my second layer (( only had to rotate one center counter clockwise and place 2 edges in my case) and did the steps for the upper cross and voila! cros was made and only corners remained. let me know if this helped dude. :) cheers! flase equivocation is a pain in the ass! but i assume that it will get better over multiple solves.
I can now solve the ghost cube in about 15 minutes, but find it very difficult to work out which trapezoidal piece fits on the bottom layer. There are two which are near identical. Any tips
Because of the mass production of the ghost cube, would you possibly be willing to redo this tutorial using that puzzle specifically? Because this was a little confusing because this puzzle was hand made, therefore its not perfect
You're wish is my command! I'm actually ordering a mass produced one, as I've had numerous requests for an update. So hang in there, and I'll have a redo for ya :)

Thanks Jon. Unbelievably beautiful - cube and solve tutorial. I have got to get one of these. Even if I have to buy "her" another handbag too!!!
I've never been so confused in my life.
This was a life saver on the mefferts. Pretty sure it would be permanently unsolved otherwise, thanks!
Im am officially an Alpha Omega Chad I FINALLY DID IT! Thanks Man this was such a pain lmao!
I still have an empty space on my shelf in the exact shape of the Bermuda collection, so that's likely to come in the future. When it does, I'll get going on the Saturn tutorial :)
Kinda late coment after 10 years, but really thank you for this tutorial.
Thanks OwMyHip (I keep grinning every time I read your name!), I'm havin' too much fun to stop!
It's a great puzzle. I'll try your way tomorrow. Looks a little simpler during the end game.
66tbird1 As long as it gets solved, there's no wrong way to do it ;)
Thanks for your tutorials.
Awsome puzzle, got mine at monday from Mefferts after i pre-orderd it :D thanks to you i solved the last layer :D Thank you!
what a legend still using this in 2020 lol i forgot some steps
Finally solved my ghoste cube... thanks it was defenetly hard. I ran into a couple of parities but i figured it out it's kinda confuzing
I love this puzzle. I hope it does get mass produced.

R u alive
Same problem
Hi, I have the same problem as you, did you find a way to swap them in the end? Thank you!
@@sharathkhanna786hi, did you manage to solve them?? I'm stuck the same way you were 😐
@@beanyaya-0219 yup

It wouldn't be the first time I made things more difficult then they needed to be ;)

Hmm, If there's an alternative way of doing it without RiDiRD, I'd love to see it, sounds interesting!
Very helpful!
good video, it is really help me to out.

Where did you get this puzzle?, the thing about me is I'm a HUGE 3x3 puzzle mod collector and i would love to have this puzzle
if my centers are in the wrong position, i just take them out and fix them
That's one way of doing it!
Because of the mass production of the ghost cube, would you possibly be willing to redo this tutorial using that puzzle specifically? Because this was a little confusing because this puzzle was hand made, therefore its not perfect

thank you very much! I struggled with the last layer on my ghost cube and will be very much looking forward to this new tutorial
Great video, but I didnt know most of the algs u used on pll tho... Every time I solve the top layer the center stays twisted
Take the cap off and put it on the right way p.s. sorry for the looooooooooooooong delay
how would I d0 x R' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2 on a ghost cube???
Ha! I'm not even going to say what I had to do to get this one :)
Thanks man I did It! :-)
my top center is different from his. I got mine from mefferts
it'll be the same, just you solved it on the opposite side
My favorite part: 5:37

I can tell you are a man of good taste :) PM me and I'll get you all the information you need.
