Raz here with The Kingping. The combo is Agatha's with Walking Balista and Ob. As you've probably heard from everyone here. Glad you like the name, pretty proud of making up that catchy name ahaha. Ob is a fun deck, honestly I've had heavy arguments over what kinda cards to include. I've felt that nausless midrange with less stax is the way to go. Rely on my own ability as a player to sus out winlines and timings based off how the game goes, paint less of a target on myself when necessary. Always assume everyone knows everyone else's lines. So far it's my second top 16 on this deck. 2 out of 4 tournament runs on Ob so I'm pretty glad about that!
I've been playing a ton of ob and I agree with you on the nausless build. I'm adding the cauldron combo once I get my cauldron. I don't run citadel in my list though, I got a few more pingers though. Nice list and nice top 16
@@lilwigese1 Ob Nixilis gets the ballista's ability when he has a +1/+1 counter... to remove a +1/+1 counter toe deal 1 damage. Which gives him another counter ;)
Time sieve is for extra turn post-payoff like necro. Its kind of like FF. On Shredder note - yep, I've been very high on Shredder. It blocks everything, so it's great for decks that are not exactly full of creatures, but want a bit of a defensive board position. It survives relatively high toxic deluges and it's also great for card selection. When everyone is playing ToR, having a decent blocker is value. While Sheoldred also does a lot to mitigate incoming damage and pressure opponents, it costs twice as much and it's not flying. Being able to block tymna dongers (which is often also kraum) is important too. Funny enough, you also mention Notion Thief, which is the other card that does well against powerhouses such as UFarm. Considering we are in Rhystic meta, it's a great inclusion. Now the problem does lie within Bowmasters. But if you'd be down to discuss some interesting takes, I'm super down to share it with you - in fact, I've been meaning to contact you about it for a while now. This was based on our journey to Pirate Chest 2 tournament in EU, in which our playgroup filled 50% of the top4 slots (main and side event). Let me know if you are interested :)
I might be missing something, but Zombie Infestation + Chatterfang + Sac Outlet + Korvold is infinite sac outlet effect and you mold your hand perfectly
That and it can be like a draw engine with a large-ish hand just discard alot of cards after a big dig to keep going, like how you can with harnfel just less efficiently
@@wat_omy I think it’s more of a fact that it’s a combo that the deck can use every piece for value so and they overlap with other things so it’s not like it’s a four card combo with all dead cards, that being said it is still a bit heavy for what I like, I’d rather se korvold as a turbo naus treasure storm deck with breach
Tevesh / Kodama was one of the decks that brought me into competitive edh. Basically you ramp like crazy for turn 2/3 tevesh and you try to sacrifice anything to get hulk onto the battlefield. Or you entomb Hulk and reanimate it to sac it. Kodama gives you stability into Golgari fragility. Big issue is that you have not a lot hold against counters so if everything works out it is a super fun deck but Golgari needs more protection.
The saga of Anti-Scrapgorger propaganda continues! The card is gas. Trinisphere is the most overperforming card I have ever tested yet for some ungodly reason I am yet to ever draw it in a tournament since I added it in a few tournaments ago. ONE DAY I SHALL 3 BALL!!!!! - WoundedSatellite

To be fair, I couldnt immediately remember how I win with Thada because I hadnt been playing her in a while. haha Ive never run a version with twiddle and loads of extra turn effects. Honestly not entirely sure how they win either. Would love to hear from tom how these versions do it.
Generally its just nexus of fate. It's quite consistent in doing an untap effect into a turn into another turn into infinite mana and draws. If your deck is just nexus of fate, it's hard to not kill everyone when your the only one taking turns for the rest of the game.
Here’s how you should be thinking about it; if I’m not mulliganing for dorks, what am I mulliganing for? Rocks. If I’m mulliganing for rocks, what am I looking to cast? Ad naus. Once ad naus has resolved, what am I looking for? More rocks. Time sieve sacs rocks. You untap and take an extra turn with a win condition in hand.
Zombie infestion just seems like a value card to me. It turns lands and unimportant spells in your hand into creatures for free so they can be sac'ed to outlets to keep comboing off.
He discards the cards to make a token. then he sacrifices the tokens w alters and generate colorless or colored mana. Also korvold on the field would let him draw more cards. Didn’t see the whole list but there probably another value engine involved w underworld breach. I think that need ya graveyard full
I thought about it and w chatterfang you would get an additional squirrel if you sac that you would net 2 cards drawn the. You could repeat until you don’t have cards then underworld breach

Theres no grinding station so maybe used in a breach line
Baneslayer is doing very well in rel life tournaments like the one in Portugal with 124 players. He's from Spain and he plays in Tremnek's team
You mention testing francisco + kraum, how did you like it? Im considering testing this out next.

I chose to switch over to Tevesh and I'm much happier 😅
Tevesh / Kraum is one of my go-tos. The goals of Fransisco / Kraum and Tevesh / Kraum are quite different.
I'm guessing Zombie Infestation is used to just further feed Korvold with sac fodder, all while wheeling through your library?
You sound sick dude. Im sure traveling from tourney to tourney doesnt help. Good stuff tho making top 16 again!

how does hullbreaker bounce tevish to go infinite and draw deck?
The idea is exile with Agatha walking ballista or triskelion and +1/+1 counter on Ob nixilis leads to infinite damage

What is it about Sultai that doesn't lend itself to see more tournament showing?
Bowmasters has been absolutely dunking on green cards and the lack of dockside hurts considerably
I play kraum ikra because i can boseiju other's breach when theres a grand abolisher on their field
Kai has the seive in the Sultai list just as an extra turn spell. That's.... kinda it.
Omg what happened to the videoquality
Tevesh is getting people real antsy now a days. I've been struggling with just unrealistic hate in these tournaments.
