The white 240 looks great. I have a white '91 240 GLE with wires sticking out of the dash into the cabin, and a very noisy fan motor. I think I also will be removing the fan to fix it. Not looking forward to that. But the 240 looks so good.
Critics say the 240 looks "boxy" and therefore boring. I say its lines are clean and elegant. A bit like that little black number that attractive women wear too dinner. Modern cars with their creases and folds going in all directions look overdone. Give me straight and elegant any day. The 240's looks are timeless.

Mooi om je enthousiasme te zien. Ik heb er zelf een paar gehad, dat waren stationcars trouwens. Veel plezier er mee!! 💪🏻

Hey man awesome to see that car in motion :) congratulations 😊 if you would've said something I have built like 5 of the B23A wiring harnesses in bulk back when I did mine using your video as guide. Used one and sold one - Still 3 left in my shelf :p

You need to reinstall rev needle. Somone install it incorrectly. When engine it's off should be on ")" not below. That's what happened.

yeah i know, i did that but in all the hurry i forgot to film it 😅
when the needle broke all those years ago i just put in on somewhere. I took a little external digital rev meter on a spark plug lead and took that data to put the needle on correct. 🙂👍

Looks good man! Love a good 240! Gotta see if that VIntage Volvo shop will part with some Center V hubcaps for your new 244; they look so damn slick. Did you get the Tach working as it should? If not I have the fix for you and its dumb easy. Keep it up!

thanks! i will be getting the steelies powdercoated in the future with slick hubcaps. and yes! i just moved the needle on the tacho to the correct rpm with an external rpm meter on a spark plug cable 🙂👍

@@RollinHeritage Nice! Sometimes in case like was yours, you'll see the needle sitting below 0 with the engine off, but when the engine is on it jumps up, but its just not pointing at the right range. In times like this, easy trick is to manually, with the engine off, turn the needle all the way through and passed the range until the needle slips on the shaft. When you let go the needle will bounce back and hopefully be sitting at 0 again. It works in both directions..just need to be careful. Then most of the time when you start the car you find your tach issues are solved. Just a little easy trick for next time
