      No not really ! I did tht in 4 months ! Ofc everyone is different but I jst break it down to simple forms it makes it way easier ! Jst a quick note don't try to make simple things overly complicated jst imagine the rough muscle forms and shapes then work your way up to refine tht part don't jst go straight in like I need tht muscle to have tht perfect shape the triceps should be clear and all tht stuff tht stuff comes later so try to play with stylized base meshes jst pick one rough base mesh and try to sculpt pick your time limit and do it in a week or two u will notice the difference !

      I thought that too, but I think many of us subconsciously "know" what is right.
      Or you can just take a look at one of many muscle references, even for stylized characters. You get the hang of it quickly, and not getting them right is often visually forgiving.

      I will concur, to a degree. But I disagree in the time length, it really depends on the person. Some can get it in weeks or months. I took years to get a light knowledge of anatomy and still have to rely on references, but that's because my artistic journey has had lots of gaps in between, and I've focused more on style than basics (I know, kinda shooting myself in the foot... but style is what brings me into art and is what I'm passionate about); I'd draw/model for a while, and then stop for an extended period of time. That kinda worked in my favor though, I tend to do great with breaks and come back better than I was prior; at the moment, I'd say I'm decent, perhaps even good at times, with anatomy, though there's defs still a lot to learn.

    I appreciate how fast you can explain what you're doing and showing it, obviously it takes longer and probably a lot of it is comfort with the software, artistic ability and understanding of anatomy. I find I always end up at a stage where my anatomy lets me down, my artistic ability does the same, and predominantly the software ends up being a losing battle, not knowing how to achieve certain results or fix errors.

    • @giovannalyra4122
      @giovannalyra4122 3 роки тому +1

      @@kerhabplays Hey, I think I do know the difference! I'm still learning how to use blender too, so take this answer with a pinch of salt, but apparently, Dynotopo smooths through creating TRIANGULAR faces and Remesh with SQUARE/QUADRANGULAR faces. "Why does it matter?" you might ask! Well, if you want to animate or rig your model, try as much as you can to keep the faces quadrangular, this will allow a much more seamless distortion when changing the character's pose. Triangular shapes are stiff, so having many of these facesin your sculpt will deform the model when rigging. Hope this helps!

    Nice job. I wanted to suggest you experiment some with this newer Line Art modifier in Blender. It does seem more for outlines and I'd like to see it reveal contours or creases in the face more. Alas its maybe not ideal for that. Would love to see how good you could make it work (and the angle settings etc.). Maybe toon shades needed but if the face was clear with only the line art it would be greater. It's a really good improvement! Problems seen from side view are it follows polygons and not smoothed curved surfaces.

Also, is the Artist 22R worth it, I have a Innovator 16 atm, it's portable, but a bit small for general use. Would you recommend the one you got?
