This is one of those albums you find in the bargain bin, for $5.99, but when you take it home and play it, you discover that it's priceless.
Where can I buy this? I'll buy ten copies!!! Hot damn!
😂 You'd NEVER find this album in a 'bargain bin for $5.99'!!! !😂😂 ✌🏻
Actually, you are correct. I found a copy in a record store in Arlington, TX called, Forever Young Records. I don't remember exactly how much I paid for it. What I meant was, once in a while, you find an album at a discount price, where every single is amazing. Peace, Love, and Funkiness my friend
I just did last week in Kiew😮
Back in the day you would and did find gems like this in the bargain bin for $5.99.
This got funk on my shirt, in my hair and some on my boot.
🫢
Got . . . to . . . get . . . FUNKY. 😎
It is time to get Funky

WOW!!!! When music was MUSIC...RAW, EMOTIONAL, SOULFUL!!!! These are some RIGHTEOUS JAMS!!!!!
I listened hard, but for the life of me, I couldn't hear the auto-tuner! 😎
This is one of the best damn funk playlists on UA-cam.
This is music from musicians, who love what they create.
Blessed.
Remember Joe Tex?
@@mikenelson8409 Tonight we gona go to the disco...... ;-)
Maybe ,
My
hips are in pain but i will get up and dance .....
One of those $2.99 cut corner gems you'd find in the way back.
I used to work for DJ SOUL PUSHER in BERLIN and he had all of these in original 45’s…rare as hell
Two words I would never put together...until now!
Born and raised in Austin, and my father has been a local musician (stage name, Marcel Fontenot) in Texas for about 50 years. I bet he'd know some of the dudes in these bands.
Does he happen to have a band named iron uncle?
@@grantkeith5834 Currently, he's been playing with "Guitar Grady." before that, it was band after band after band. (He's a lifelong sideman...) But, he used to play with "Ro-tel and the Hot Tomatoes," "Ponty Bone," and did a bit with "Asleep at the Wheel" WAY back in the day.
He grew up in San Antonio with Jimmy Vaughn. his real name is Ed Vizard, but he sometimes goes by Marcel.
Nice! Who doesn't remember Asleep At The Wheel?
Fantastic music! The soul of my youth - and still so groovy! Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Bavaria.

Righteous! Especially the final track. Yum!

👏 👏 👏
No. 7 Evil Ways, at approx 17 mins.
I was curious if the "little joe" here was the one from la familia. It sounded just like him. I hung with those guys in the 80s. My dads band Mesa played with little joe y la familia, johnny rodrigues and Alabama. Oh hell i knrw i left someone out. Flacco jimenez i apologize. If im not mistaken it eas little joes drummer that had the biggest set id ever seen. Turquois shining like the sun. Had rows of fluted tom toms. I helped set them up. It took forever. I was exhausted afterward. Those guys were so tight. Except for Mr. Rodriguez. I enjoyed hanging out with him but he was in the middle of his hard drinking phase. Prone to missing shows or not finishing them. He did this one but he was sloshed.
🔥
I had entered the dragon and because had been in isreal when 18 in 82
If I didn’t know what this was, I think I was listening to James Brown.
🤘💯🔥🤙
My time in South East Asia was what hardened me
The first thing I did over there when I entered the country was work in a Christin soup kicthen

Linda Lovelace usta tell me "I don't mind if you smoke while I eat'
Over there they called tiger or good boy patt
The real deal!
I landed on Hong Kong Jan 1 91
Now I feel silly. Of course, James Brown was from Desdemona Texas. That must have been him on the first track.
