Il y avait tout, le son , la musique , l'interprétation , le cœur , les tripes et de la vraie musique avec de vrais musiciens comme le disait souvent Prince 💜 il n'y a que ça de vrai. Merci pour le partage.
you can still look cool, be that if you want to! .. i hope you have a good one you and anyone who ever reads this.. be what you want to be in life! the world needs people to be what they feel they want to be!
Pure detroit killa soul!!!! That's what Motown would have sounded like if they didn't left Detroit...at least would have tried to sound like! HDH and the whole roster at Hot Wax Invictus were so incredibly talented!!!!
As a Michigander, I think calling the large Canadian metropolis of Windsor a suburb of Detroit is a little inaccurate. They're more like sister cities across the lake.
I guess the most explicit example of that conscious, soulful and funky legaxy would be Drexciya and the afro-futurism mythos that they created around the musical project. Then you have the techno pioneers, Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson. Also Mike Huckaby (RIP), Theo Parrish, Moodymann, Dj Dez Andres, Anthony "Shake" Shakir, Omar S, Rich Wilhite. And the younger generation, Kyle Hall and Jay Daniel. My personal favorite is Omar S, check out his track "The Maker". This is some very soulful, funky and conscious music as well, despite it being made for the dancefloor and not just home listening. Also, of course J Dilla and the undergroup rap community there deserves love. Detroit always seems to punch above it's weight for musical innovation.

Great mix from the best era of music.
Thanks YT for putting commercials every 2 minutes, I was really bored by the songs and thanks to you I am really growing an affections towards such products and services
Yep; how to ruin a perfectly good vibe....
My father grew up in Motown. Bless Detroit. Listening as I patrol an empty hospital. Peace!
Absolutely superb.
I already have a decent collection from this era, but None of these. Shows how much I've been missing. What a treat.
Amazing music, the 70s ruled! And, *what a pic man! Can't get more 70s groovy than this.... ; P
I'm french living in 2024 but I always dreamed of being american in the 70's just because of the music :)

Le treblon e le tartufon
I'm french but this music is soooooo cool and awesome I feel a little american while listening to it :)
Beautiful music!!!!
Motown forever!
Wow !!!... What a Decade, the 70's !!!!.... Thanks !!!
Growing up as a teenager in Detroit in the 70s was incredibly awesome.
If I'd grown up with such cool music, I could also look so cool like those people.
you can still look cool, be that if you want to! .. i hope you have a good one you and anyone who ever reads this.. be what you want to be in life! the world needs people to be what they feel they want to be!
This music is so cool and cinematic man !!!! It's like watching a movie :)
They go in pears, who gets who. Great photo and music compilation. This was a time when people could Love and understand each other🙂
Pure detroit killa soul!!!! That's what Motown would have sounded like if they didn't left Detroit...at least would have tried to sound like! HDH and the whole roster at Hot Wax Invictus were so incredibly talented!!!!
All of these little Big City Comps are awesomely juicy sweet, but this one is Monumentally Motown on top of it!!
This is the soundtrack I needed, thanks from Bolivia
Here we are brother!
Dress code 70s but the photo is Harlem NYC
If something aint feeling this they aint got no feeling
Thank you❤❤❤
Epic photo and mix - thank you!!!
I grew up in Windsor,Ontario a musical suburb of Detroit. We were tuned in to Motown all day, CKLW, and all the funky W*** stations
As a Michigander, I think calling the large Canadian metropolis of Windsor a suburb of Detroit is a little inaccurate. They're more like sister cities across the lake.
Class mix. Reminds me of a David Holmes essential mix from 1997. He changed music listening for me. ❤
YES!! This is so good!!! Thank you for posting this awesome mix! 💯🎶🕊️🙏🧘⭐✌️💖🎶🤘🙏
Très bon merci cela fait plaisir bisous de Paris
Just, YES. Thank you, for posting these no doubt hard to find, or even come across, gems.

Keep it Funky ...
😎 🎼 🎵 🎶
It's just not hard to see or hear: Everything was better in the 60's and 70's. Epic mix, yo. Thx for the share.
Well yes, but I think, most of this stuff here is not at all 60ties, but that you have some 80ties within it.
@@fjodorgarrincha6584 Lou could tell us for certain, but I remember most of these cuts and artists from the early '70s ~
Women's and black's rights?
@@borisjarry4629 No. Not just that. Everything, and I mean everything, was better back then.
Really it doesn't get much better than this groove.
This is what music should sound like: conscious, great, funky.
this heritage was carried into Detroit's innovative electronic/dance music. The musical legacy in the D runs deep.
Sometimes when people add the tracklist all of a sudden they get a © strike .
Ive seen posters comment on this ,... when they remove the tracklist the strike is removed .
This is soooo good lets just enjoy it as it comes .
