There are not enough listeners who understand or enjoy intrumentals/solos left listening now. That doesn't need to be the case but it will take a decade at minimum to reverse.

Some: Ain't in funky now - Grant Green, On Broadway - George Benson, I wnat to thank you - Dr Lonnie Liston, Transmograpfication - JB's & Fred Wesley, Do what you wanna - Ramsey Lewis, Superstition - Quincy Jones,
Certainly Herbie Hancock is ahead of this extraordinary funky jazz! Chamaleon that´s it ! Including Lee Ritenour and some others. ! Great experience !.

@@johnnyparker2128 Forgive me for flying off the handle, I meant to say that the remix of the original song "Everybody Loves the Sunshine" by Roy Ayers Ubiquity, is not particularly executed very well, in my opinion.

So, it starts with arguably the greatest Funky Jazz song of all time and then has a very questionable few remixes and another solid track… but this “The best” makes me wanna make one and knock it out the park.
Just saw Herbie Hancock last week and he ended the show playing Chameleon on the Keytar. Funky as hell. He was jumping up and down at 84 years old.

Ronnie Laws - Always there... One of my all time favorites.
From Pressure Sensitive- had almost no money in those days, but had to have that album!
We need more solos in today's funky music.
Try "Live" stuff. The format tends to feature more solo breaks

That second piece was way too modern sounding. I checked and it's a 2008 remix. I've been lied to
That is definitely not the original 1976 version
Yeah i didn't care too much for the mix. They were doing too much on this Roy Ayers piece.
@@anitodd4262 I agree. It annoyed me when I heard it. This classic song doesn't need a remix, of any kind.
Toooooo many ads
Spoils the groove
Still tho it's fly
Why can't I make this sound now in 2020?
Hi! Thanks for this Jewels! Can you tell me the name of the band that plays All That Jazz at the 1;42 hour? Thanks!
Don't mess with Roy, that remix diminished that cut.
I'm pretty sure the second track is not from the 70s. We may never know.

Son como larguisimas introducciones de canciones que no empiezan nunca...
I don't _hate_ the remix of Everybody Loves The Sunshine, but it does confuse the shit out of me. The rest of this mix is top stuff though.
DANG! No George Duke 😧.
I wasn't into funk... Until I listen to funk.
Great 70’s porn sound
