- In today's video, I am reviewing my favorite briefcases for men in 2022. A briefcase is a staple that should be in every man's closet. It is something where you most certainly get what you pay for. Your briefcase is a piece that can last decades if you buy right and take care of it. Let's take a look at some of my favorite briefcases for men.

Dude I just found your channel and ITS SO COOL
Was just thinking the other day that’s it’s been a while since seeing a video by you. Great review/update, can’t wait to see what’s planned next
Great round up! All the bags look stellar!
I purchased the Hook & Albert from your previous video. I thought the interior storage would be a challenge but it's not all so bad. The quality of the bag itself was more than I expected. Very happy with it. It's a shame there really isn't any reviews of it.
Thank you for the reviews!
Jon. You are amazing. Great video as always. I got a Burberry briefcase several years ago. Returned it several days later as I realized it was quit pretentious and I didn’t like scratching my hand on the sharp zip every time I would reach in and grab something. 1st world problem of course. Looking for an old school unlabeled satchel now. Which smells of some good leather (sorry vegans) 😎
That satchel and page leather never fails to impress, it’s so much deeper and beautiful than others
Awesome leather but I e ordered two bags from them now and returned them both for poor quality control. Disappointing
Best briefcase review for business, thx!
Very informative vdo. Thank you!
Hi Jon, I was noticing that the Faire briefcases are using only top grain leather, which is why I am balking at making a purchase at the moment. Would you be able to review the quality of their leather vs. the Satchel and Page? The leather on the Satchel and Page looks out of this world but functionally I like the way the Faire one is designed since it's sleeker.
Cool slim briefcases really sharp.
Jon I have been watching your videos since day one I feel like! Back in the Oliver wicks days.
Thank you
awesome bags! 😍
the haircut looks great!
Great video
Nice gameboy in the tech dopp kit :)
Ant thoughts on the Bosca ‘Stringer’ in Amber?
I have a ruitertassen satchel however I'm thinking about upgrading to either the ruitertassen briefcase or the Faire briefcase. Both are great but want a pick people's brains about this
Any chance you have tested the Von Baer city bag? I was considering this or the satchel and page but unsure. I noticed the satchel and page leather scratches pretty easily but love the smell and authentic feeling of it.
A bag is a must have for today's man
Have you reviewed MontBlanc briefcases?
Any recommendation for a bag that can carry 2 laptops and toiletries for travel but for work I just need something that looks professional. There's a lot of backpacks but I need briefcase-style.
Will you do a work backpack video?
How about Nutsac Jones 15 and Filson Original Brief?
Hey, the port you reviewed is not on satchel’s website anymore. Any idea if they changed the port design? Coz i am interested in the one you reviewed
Please do a review of the Italic Walker Slim briefcase
You got it
What is the name of the 3rd slim tech organizer bag presented? :)
Would you consider Frank Clegg's zip-top briefcase overpriced?
Does the satchel and page bag have a luggage pass through sleeve?
Coming a little late to this, but I just wanted to put a comment here in case anyone else is doing research and thinking about getting a new bag. I don't know if they maybe used to be good and something changed, but my experience with Satchel & Page has been awful. I bought their Executive bag back in August, and despite what they claim on their website the laptop compartment isn't fully padded (there's no padding on the bottom, where your laptop constantly impacts every time you set it down), the leather is permanently water spotted after being in a light drizzle for less than a minute even though they claim the spots will be "absorbed" back in over time, and now, after six months of part-time use, the stitching that holds the interior pockets in place has started to come undone. For a $600 bag none of that is okay. They DO look pretty. This thing is lovely when it's just sitting there, but if you're reading this and are on the fence about whether to take the plunge I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere. There's nothing remotely quality, let alone "heirloom", about their bags at the moment. If you just want a super delicate bag that's pretty to look at, go ahead. But if you want something that's actually going to last you're better off saving your money or buying something else secondhand.
Woah this is deep.... you mightve just talked me off the ledge for them...
@@Bigbeardfpv I hope so! I wanted to love it so bad, but I've had $50 Amazon bags that were better quality.
Review time resistance bags
This list is incomplete without Saddleback Leather.
What about Carl Friedrik? Didn’t you review theirs a while ago?
Yes but their design is not as heavy in the functional organization features.
What do you do for work?
Super torn between the Satchel and Page 3.0 or the Faire Leather Bond Briefcase... any advice?
Both briefcases have same functions and both are sharp looking.
Also similar price tag.
The difference is; Satchel Port 3.0 is available only in one color.
Faire briefcases have multiple colors and both in smooth or textured material.
What size briefcase do you recommend for most men about 6ft? If my laptops are 13" laptops, should I just get their smaller bags at 14.5" like the diplomat or should I get the counselor?
Smaller is going to be better most of the time
Does anyone have the name for the Slim pouch at the start of the video?
Ya, that's what I was looking for too. I like the 3rd one. Small zipper case. What's that one?
Should give ruitertassen a look they are pretty well priced at $200-250 with veg tan leather and several configurations regarding compartments and pocket layouts. Main downside is that the leather quality is unfinished on the inside and a bit stiff at first and it lacks many details of high end bags.
From this roundup the faire leather bond briefcase seems most impressive at a very good price, I only wonder what the leather quality is like and longevity.
need another video in 2024 please :)
The faire leather briefcase holds 15 inch laptops?
I just bought it, it can hold my 15.6 inch laptop fine. Website says it can hold up to a 16 inch MacBook, but those are very slim.
@@sasakimakina764 Hi, do you like the quality of the leather? Since it's only top grain I am a little hesitant. Thanks.
@@haoyangxiong1423 You seem to be mistaken about how leather quality is determined. I don't blame you: there is a lot of misinformation circulating Reddit, UA-cam, and even fashion companies.
The concept of full grain>top grain>genuine is a myth: there is no universal grading system for leather.
Source: nstarleather.wordpress.com/2018/05/31/the-grades-of-leather-hierarchy-youve-probably-read-about-is-a-myth/
In short, full grain/top grain are descriptors of leather, but they do not mean one type is better than the other. Both have their place: you can't use thick, full-grain for every application. There is plenty of terrible full-grain leather and plenty of excellent top-grain/suede/genuine. Likewise, genuine leather is not "the worst kind of leather" and just means that it is actual leather. The legendary Red Wing Heritage Iron Ranger boots have "genuine leather" stamped right on them, and that's some of best leather you can get.
The ONLY way to judge the quality of a leather product is to handle it. Tanning (chrome vs vegetable vs chrome-free), finishing, sanding, the damage on the raw hide, etc. are all considerations. There isn't an easy scale or system to know how good it is at a glance.
For the actual briefcase, the leather seems to be pretty good. It's rather stiff out of the box and has a very smooth and regular appearance. It looks excellent, but I imagine it would scratch rather easily. Reminds me of Chromexel leather.
@@sasakimakina764 Thank you for all the information. It is very helpful.
Hey what happen to the long hair and beard?
Can I fit my NFT's in this breifcase?
Your links are broken bud
I knew a guy with an expensive briefcase who still kept his wallet in his foreskin. Just the wallet not his keys.
Why do you have to promote Apple products? Is Apple paying a fee? If so, you should say so in the beginning. Otherwise we are speaking of laptops not Macbooks. We are speaking of laptop chargers, not... Fact: 99% of productive computers in America are running Windows.
