Thank you for the video about the Digimike. I have been looking at them. I just left you a thumbs up, and hit the buttons. Have a great weekend. 21 S.C. , Old Radio Night
Glad you like it. check two other videos I attached under my video title in the description area. two links in there. very cool videos. Let me know if you found it.77, WR0767.
@@UDX-21 no problem. I wish I had more time to do more videos. Check my buddy channel. I'm learning a lot of stuff from him also. I got radios from him and a microphone. Scott'sRadios , that's his channel and website also. Cheers, 73.
Really amazing mike, i love it, working on my Mc Kinley and George 2, my radio reports are better than my sadelta echo máster plus, zetagi mb+9, jcd 201m, etc...
Iincredible ! are you sure about it because the DIGIMIKE is not pre amplified ? which one is the strongest between KPO and the DIGIMIKE ? Did you try it in SSB ? 73
Thanks for the mic demo, looks well built. So you didn't demo the noise reduction feature with the crt (anytone) radio, does the noise reduction well and do the nr controls function correctly with that radio?
I did show how stock and digi mike works with radio but only with TalkBack function in the radio, starting at 7:43 min. Microphone NRC function works great with this radio out of the box. what's not working correctly out of the box is channel switches. That's why I did another video how I added a new resistor to it to make channel buttons work. Also in my description area in this video you will see two links to other guys that did a test on this microphone. check them out. let me know if you have any other questions, if I have answers I will post it in here. 73.
not sure what do you mean swap it. wires are correctly wired for CRT radio. problem is with the signal from the microphone. Voltage values from microphone board are incorrect. Good for President radio only. I think the only way to fix that is to add a resistor to the switch for down channel and separate it from the circuit board. Regular microphones are easy to convert. This one is SMD. When I get more time I figure it out. Thanks for your input. 73 WR0767.
@CB.PUNISHER.1900 Still didn't have time to dig in. Super busy at work these days. It bugs me also that I can't use channels on my CRT. If I figure out how to do it I definitely will make a video. I was hoping someone else will figure it out and post the video 😂.
@@jojojeep1 Microphone is powered by the radio(electret 🎤 not dynamic)and has NRC function. I have two video links in the description section where someone else shows their reviews of this microphone. check those out. Also you can go to the President website and check for more details. You can probably download the manual for that microphone and see what they show etc. Works well in my vehicle. 73
@@myszaca Yes, the part on FM everything was fine and then on the USB LSB I noticed that only rubbish came through, nothing was understandable anymore, modulator on device broken, with the original mic it worked great!
Nice job sir, thanks for giving us a look inside you know how guys love to take things apart, you saved me the trouble!
I use it on a President Richard in my car and all the stations are happy now !!
Same here. I use it with my CRT radio and everyone thinks I am talking from the base station. 73
Nice job, 73
Thanks. 73 from South California.

Great video. I have the same microphone and I use it on my President Lincoln 2 plus and everybody gives me excellent audio reports.
Yeah, I am using it with CRT, very good reports. perfect size for mobile station. 73.
Is it better over the stock mic?
It's been a long time since I've held a 3rd party/non-stock microphone where it just felt like it was molded for my hand, and the weight is perfect.
I like it also. Feels perfect in hand and it's good sounding 🎤. 73.

The digimic is it love it
Its a Very interesting ... How IT works ..
I think the Fire Department uses a similar microphone in Europe. 73 from South California.
I have the president lincoln mk1 which is a six pin. will this mike work with the mk1?
from what I was told it won't. You can always shoot email to the president and ask. See what they say.
Thx, cute lil fella!
Works very well. 73.
Just swap wires around at the mic plug. That will sort the channels up and down

How do you control that power Mike to make it louder and lower
you have to hold the middle button to activate the menu and then you have 5 levels of NRC. 73.
@@myszaca is that just a noise reduction mic or is it also a Power Mic

I could but lettering would be backwards, 73.
This MIC kill‘s my Mc Kinley 🤬 !
What do you mean? Digimike didn't work with McKinley radio ?

Interesting, I have friends using same set-up for months and no issues. Sorry to hear that.
@@myszaca OK, yes, I'm also surprised because the MIC shouldn't cause any problems, but apparently I got a part that wasn't really OK!
