Yes yes yes. I love Honda blowers. Born and raised on them. Bad ass machines for real. They've held up to the blizzard of 96 in WNY and still treating my parents well!
Wold you please explain the digital hour meters you've installed on other blowers? I understand the concept but do you hard-wire them into the blower somehow, and what's the make/model of the meter? Thank you. Brand new Ariens Compact 24 awaiting its first snow in suburban Chicago. No mileage yet except for a five-minute demo by the dealer when he delivered it and the patented GarageGear "Dirty 30" break-in. Thank you!
@@anthonyc1883 hey Anthony here’s an old video I did on one HOW TO INSTALL AN HOUR METER ON A SNOWBLOWER FOR BEGINNERS ua-cam.com/video/zlc9jkd7ofU/v-deo.html congrats on your purchase
Most people think that feature rich is always best, very well designed machine "but" I do wish from a reliability and price angle that they still offered machines with good old hand crank chute direction and manual lever elevation controls, I have an older tracked honda snowblower thats 10 years old that has been very reliable (Its still on its original auger belt) and its worked its way through a number of nor'easter snowfalls year after year with no issues , I love how rugged and responsive the hydrostatic drive is and how it just works year after year .. The only negative I have heard with the new redesign is that the Collar on the chute tends to be more clog prone then the old open design,, Why is it there ? , The new honda blowers have a motor drive servo unit to operate the chute and the design of this unit tends to trap snow and slush around the base of chute so they added a collar to push the snow out above it , this adds a restriction to wet slushy snow that makes it more prone to clog,, some have modified it on youtube. other then that awesome machine design .
I just bought a Honda HSS1332A almost a month ago. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's a monster! Going to pay it off by clearing neighbour's driveways for $100 each. Bought a Honda HRC2163 lawnmower at the same time which saved me $2,000. Threw out our old lawnmower when we moved to our new house. Honda is going all electric and the Honda HRC2163 is by far the best lawnmower on the market. I don't have to worry about yard equipment for the next 20 years. Will be moving to a condo at that point and both these pieces of equipment will sell for a high price 20 years later just doing simple maintenance like changing oil, air filter, and greasing.

And if you qualify, you can stretch those payments out over 30 years. Like a mortgage.
