@@GarageGear in comparison to the 28 sho with the slightly larger engine. Is there an advantage or because the impeller is the same size it Doesn't make a difference? Serious question trying to learn all this.
I have an Arien deluxe 24 inch i purchased in 2008. in the last year i did a winter and spring maintaince, change oil in auger gear, change auger, drive belts and friction disc. I watched your videos before each job and they helped a lot. I couldnt believe the difference with the new friction disc. The machine just took off like brand new. i also purchased the recommened silicone sprays, grease etc. Keep up the good work!
Bought a previous model of this machine at Lowe's, also got a military discount (NICE!). This machine is a TANK...I don't get the snow you get in Buffalo, but I get my place and 2 neighbors, and it more than gets the job done. This is a great machine! It replaced a 20 yr old Yard Man that I had reconditioned and is now being use at our church.
Excellent Video. I have had the 24" SHO for 6 Yrs now and a Solid Machine. The governor kicks in and throws the snow 30+ feet in one pass. Paid top $$ for the larger wheels, 2nd stage tube is much bigger in Dia. and zero turn drive. Money well spent. Live in Green Bay, Wi. which is 25 minutes away from where they are manufactured. Was like a kid in the candy store when I would go to Ariens to repair some of their office equipment. Awesome Company.
Omg JB I've never heard anyone talk in such detail about a snow blower....I watched the entire video and think to myself if anything ever goes wrong .....This guy will know when how and why to fix it.....and to think the carb on mine was a major hurdle.....I can only imagine if a belt breaks .....I'd go into the fetal position..lol .....thanks again for the video!!!!
I have had Airens snowblowers for over 40 years. With good maintenance they last forever. I wouldn't run any other brand. I think the most important thing to do is to tip up the snowblower with fuel removed and take off the bottom cover to properly inspect the friction drive wheel and perform lubrication every October. Check that the axel has plenty of anti seize at both wheels and the front auger is lubed. Transmission level should be checked as well. I made a dipstick that can be inserted after the bolt is removed to check the level. Don't overfill. A great video sir.
I really enjoy your videos. I have a 2021 Deluxe 24. I like the position of the choke and throttle on the 2024. In 2021 the carb is easy to get at and there is a drain plug. I really like my machine. Keep the videos coming.
I've been running ariens for the last 8 years. Nothing beats the power, reliability and snow throwing capabilities at their price point. I recently found a 2 year old ariens 30" SHO platinum for only $1200 USD in mint condition. You bet your ass I bought it sight on scene.
I went with the 24” Platinum SHO as I have one area about 24x60 feet and all the snow has to go out one of the 24’ sides. The old 8 HP MTD had to move the same snow 6-10+ times to clear the driveway. With the SHO I only have about 10-15’ with a double layer snow to move. The rest clears the driveway in one pass. The job goes much faster with the Ariens… and the price was quickly forgotten!
Hard plastic skid shoes help with the auto turn. I tried the longer shoes that you use, but found the plastic ones to work the best with the auto turn so that you aren't fighting the machine to keep it straight when you hit the bombs or frozen patches.
@@GarageGear Bought mine last year and it was jumping and jerking all over the place from the skids dragging on the concrete. put the plastic shoes on and it was a totally different machine. easily one hand operation, best modification you can do imho.
Last year I purchased a new Ariens 30" Deluxe EFI. Very disappointed. The engine starts and runs fine. I live rurally and my driveway is not paved (gravel). Just got it back from warranty service... The drive belt came off three times throughout the winter. The machine is very light in the front end and the front end would bounce when going over any small bump. Purchased the Ariens front weight kit ($100) which has helped. The auto turn feature works, but while going straight, if you encounter any uneven ground or resistance, it wanders. You really have to hold on to it to keep it going straight. After doing some research, I purchased the Ariens nylon shoes ($65) which has helped but did not totally resolve the issue. The heated grip switch is a large flat switch that often ices up and can't be toggled without fear of breaking it. It is also right next to the shoot adjustment and often gets switched off inadvertently. I must say, it does throw snow a long way. Hopefully this coming winter will be a better experience.
I got the 2023 model of the Deluxe 24. My transmission on mine had to be adjusted to slow it down. In 1st gear it was way too fast. Now that it's been adjusted properly 1st gear is a proper slow walk speed. This snow thrower is indeed a tank. I didn't get much snow last season, but regardless of how much comes my way, I know my Ariens Deluxe 24 will handle it with ease.
I’m new to the channel…count me subscribed! You have such great info and a great presentation. I can’t wait to dig deep into the older videos. For now, can you clarify how the Deluxe 24 turns? It has no wheel triggers, right? And what is the best time of year to buy a new blower? I’m in Missouri where I’m certain they stock fewer than your area. To that point, the snow here is not that deep usually, but I have a HUGE couple driveways, a circle and a hill to cover. Is a 2-stage the right choice? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks! 👍
@@bradbloomquist hey Brad the auto turn feature has gears that allow you to turn and pivot without any controls. Works really well. Best time to buy a new snowblower is in the spring and summer. 2 stage is the way to go
I bought a 28” about 2 yrs ago from my Ariens dealer, love the unit but i have a few dislikes with it as well. Compared to the previous blowers i have had , non-Ariens, the drive and auger are opposite. Also when you lock in the auger you cant use your free hand to turn the snow chute without reaching over the panel or stopping to change its direction. Since i bought it i think i have only used 3 tanks of fuel lol. When i had my 10yr cub cadet it seemed we were getting slammed here in Albany lol. Great videos just found your channel tonight and subscribed.
Newbie here, looking at this blower, my neighbor and I maintain a 1200+ foot concrete driveway that is VERY steep the last 400 feet or so, I see these pull with one wheel, my concern is going back up while blowing snow.
I don’t know if they’re still made but you can also look at the Sno Tek, it’s owned by Ariens and it’s a bit cheaper. I have a 24” model that I bought new 15 years ago and it is a beast. I’ve replaced the belt I stay up on the maintenance. My next blower will be an actual Ariens as my kids are grown and gone and just like that I had more money for nicer things. If you’re on a budget because your kids shoes cost an arm and a leg then go with the Sno Tek.
Just ordered a 30 inch Ariens Deluxe to replace my 21 year old Toro 28 inch. I have an 80 foot driveway that's 40 feet wide at the top. Being on the "downhill" side of the street I usually end up with a sizeable packed snow/ice berm at the foot of the d-way from the town snow plow.
Good AM JB. I knew you would be up and posting early this morning. My Aries is 10 years old...never a minute's problem...likely because of your videos which help me so much in keeping it in top running form. Just changed the oil in it yesterday and greased up the augers...your video on how do so playing in the background of my own garage every minute. Always grateful for sharing in your knowledge and wisdom of all things GarageGear. Coming up to 100 thousand subscribers I see. Congratulations friend!
@@joebarzo9935 RIGHT ON JOE! You know how we roll! lol! Got plenty of videos coming out on this gal this winter with loads of tips! Possibly crossing that mark this week sometime. Couldn’t have done it without cool fans like you bud! Thanks for being awesome! 👍
I have a 40 year old Ariens ST524 that has handled everything that the northwest side of Rochester, NY has thrown at it so far. I got some fresh non-ethanol and started it for the first time a couple of days ago. One pull. If there's ever a catastrophic failure, I'll feel that I got my money's worth.
Conversely, I bought a brand new Ariens 5 years ago , thinking I was buying a quality name. The FIRST TIME I used it ………. It wouldn’t start ! I called the dealer where I bought it. They asked if I primed it, and how many times. I said 3-4 times. They replied that it should be primed 10-12 times ! I have NEVER had ANY machine that required priming that much ! Apparently, the Japanese motor needs this much priming as opposed to the old Tecumsuh motors that Ariens USED to use. Ridiculous. The second time I went to use it , the friction wheel for the drive mechanism came apart ! It was repaired under warranty but, still - unbelievable. So much for a quality machine.
I love my Arien’s 30 in Platinum I bought last year . Just as you noted in this video , she is a beast ! The things I did do was grease the : drive axel , chains that were under the bottom cover , both tire axels , the turning differential , auger shaft , chute gears , and zi sprayed rust inhibitor on all of the housing metal seams . I will spray silicone in the chute , auger housing , and chute directional gears so snow will not build up . Great video , I watched your videos last year on prepping the Ariens snow throwers and that is what had me purchase the Ariens SHO Platinum 30
The dip stick and the axle bearing holders that are rusty from new need some work. I checked one out yesterday. Nice balance and easy to maneuver. The tires are massive.
Thanks again for the Ariens Deluxe demo. Your enthusiasm for this machine led me to purchase one, although I was looking for a 24 inch model I found a killer deal on a 921022 older 28 Deluxe that was owned by snow birds who had they snow removed by a service while they were away so this machine has limited corrosion. Thanks to your upgrade videos I did replace the lever steer that looked like new with the newer version auto steer. Also a Led headlight replaced the halogen version , heated grips installed that came with it in a box , plastic skids, impeller kit, scraper bar was also replace as it look likely they never put enough air in the tires and the use it did get ground it uneven, rounded out the upgrades. With a complete lube job new belts, shear bolts and corrosion preventative application it is ready for that snow plow driver that always tries to make a mountain at the end of my driveway and bury my mail box.
I have a 2022 model of this blower and what I like about the new one is throttle control. The light on my blower has never worked I will have to check that connection. I can tell you that my Ariens outperforms the other brands in my neighborhood.
I purchased an Ariens 24" Compact last year. The village snowplows piled about 18" of rock hard snow and ice into my driveway entrance. The Ariens chewed through it like a champ. The only downside is that even on speed one, the snowblower moves too fast for hardpacked snow. Can you adjust it to slow down the forward speeds? Also, coming from a 28" Craftsman, 24" is a pretty narrow cut. Now you just need to put a heated handgrip kit on that bad boy.
@@GarageGear that would be great. I've never seen a video on installing handwarmers. but that leads to another question. why would a "deluxe" model not already have handwarmers?
I just saw this one at Lowe's yesterday and said to my self that this would be the one I would buy. Next video - before and after impeller kit...just need some white stuff. What did you do with the 32" beast from last season?
I've got a 24 deluxe, I bought it almost new five years ago. I love it and I blow snow in top gear (as far as im concerned they're all work gears lol )as well. It just eats and gets in done! Even at the end of the driveway! When it's real piled up, I just drop it in to 1 or 2 and get through It and back to full speed again. Also, there are no issues , nothings broken the entire time I've owned it, not even a shear pin. Its soooooo much faster. Im sure I'll hear this is stupid, and hard on equipment, who cares...
The chute direction crank handle is typically on the lower left side under the handle. The one hand drive/impeller lock might better be on the right handle.
I've enjoyed a lot of the content you've posted, especially regarding snowblowers. I have an unheated (no electricity either) shed that I store mine in. I do have an outdoor outlet on an adjacent building. I'm thinking using a space heater to melt the snow, then blow dry it with a leaf blower would be a good idea. I'm thinking about buying an indoor space heater to use outdoors as it would only be outside when melting snow off the snowblower. What do you think would be the best space heater to get for just melting snow for about 10 minutes? Thanks in advance.
@@jensenbenh thanks for the positive feedback. Sounds like you have a pretty good idea right there. I think any space heater would do for that size space.
Well, I bought another snowblower, lol. I never could get that guy to answer his marketplace ad for that 1972 one. Ended up getting a somewhat more modern one, an Ariens 824 made somewhere around 2001-02. The kind with the oval halogen headlamp. It was a great price and only a 45 minute drive away.
I hate the placement of chute crank on my 24 Deluxe. It's on the same side as the drive handle (left) so when rotating the chute, my right arm comes across my body to the left side. Feels like the chute crank should be on the right side where my free hand is.
Hey JP. Great info (again)! Got a new Ariens 28 Deluxe thanks in part to you and your channel. After doing your break-in and prep suggestions, I have a question for ya. Been thinking about putting a clear protective film on the inside of the chute, to protect from rocks and debris. After looking at some used ones, I noticed many with chips in the throat, some starting to rust. Got the idea for the protective film, but wondering if it’d impede the snow in any way. What do you think? Good idea or bad? … (I’d post a link to the product but every time I do, my comment disappears and doesn’t show up.)
If you do this, test a piece of the film with your rustproofing product of choice just to make sure it doesn't react with the film and melt/eat the film. I love this idea though, similar to rock guard film that comes on a new car.
@@SnowKing716 Good point. I’ve tried to reply multiple times pointing to the product I’m considering, but my replies/comments keep getting deleted. Anyway-it’s a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), and doesn't appear to have a conflict with WD40 ("WD-40 is generally safe to use on plastic, metal, rubber, and wood. However, you should avoid using WD-40 on polycarbonate and clear polystyrene plastic."). However-like JB says-I spray and rub in Fluid Film. If anyone knows how Fluid Film would react to a TPU, then I’m all ears. 👍
Sure is nice Ariens decided to go with a newly designed engine, hopefully this one is easier to take apart than the old one. It kind of looks like the engines found on Toro snowblowers.
I recently saw that same exact engine on a Husqvarna 27 inch snowblower at a dealership here in Chicago. The guy told me that it's a Loncin engine and that Toro uses the same engine on their 8hp 28-inch machine. He also said that they're very reliable, but I take that with a grain of salt... they'll all say that.
"What grinds my gears" about that Ariens snow blower is where they put the lever to rotate the chute....very awkward to have to reach over the handles to rotate the chute.
But at least you don't catch your coat pocket on the rear quickturn control like on the Ariens Classic 24. That may be the reason for the forward "ice drill" on the upgraded Deluxe models.
I hope these engines are good as the LCTS. Practically every snowblower manufacturer uses these engines now. Like toro, Husqvarna and now Ariens. I just wish someone would produce some engines in the U.S and not overseas. These are Loncin engines like the toros.
Nice video , in the market for a new Ariens snowblower , this 24" looks awesome , I'm only a 10 min. drive to Schaub equipment, don't need it right away but may buy one at end of season , maybe price will be cheaper? May see if they have a 30" or larger one cause I have a 100' driveway. Also JB do you do repairs on older Ariens snow throwers , neighbor has an old Ariens that used to run great but he hasn't run it in a few years , it is turning over. Let me know if you do repairs on the side , he may be interested .
Hey heavy Chevy! Awesome that you’re in the neighborhood! I dont usually see prices drop at the end of the season. Sometimes at big box stores 👎 I only work on my own equipment at the moment. I have no room for anyone else’s stuff. Thanks for watching! Go bills!
I have the Ariens Deluxe 24 and wanted to know your opinion on using tire chains and what type of chains work best on different snow blower? I think this would also make for a good video topic. I live at the tip of lake Superior in Superior WI. so most winters we get a good amount of snow. I appreciate your informative and educational videos so keep them coming, thank you. Just My Thoughts...
@@robertsride1498 I like where your head is at Robert! If you live in an area that sees a lot of snow, which you do, I would recommend getting them on. I use xtrac tires which have a very deep tread and those are fine. If your tires don’t provide good traction it’s best to use them. As far as different kinds of chains I’ll have to look into those.
Bought a Deluxe 28SHO last winter use it one time in 1 inch of wet snow , I want snow ! I thought I looked funny in 1 inch of wet snow with my machine but end of October 55 degrees in short that's hilarious . 😂
Did Ariens make some recent engine changes? A few years ago the Deluxe 24 had a 254cc engine instead of 252cc and the engine controls were different. New engine looks like it’s probably an improvement though
I realy like that Machines, especialle NO PLASTC knops, solid metal, and metal fram on friction disc, looks like ARIENS have listen to customers on plastikk knops and plastikk fram on friction disc they had a couple of years ago, keeper it simple and durable
Do you have any experience with the compact 24 auto model? The one you showed here is a bit big. Nebraska is hit or miss with different snow amounts throughout the years. The price difference is not of concern to me. I am just afraid of space to keep this in my garage. Would you recommend to get this or the compact 24 auto model?
Hey nm! I’ll be doing some reviews on ariens next week. The compact isn’t much smaller than the deluxe 24. I would check the measurements on them before you purchase one. Both are great units
8:31 Damn, on my deluxe 28(brand new) the oil drain is sticking out to the right and the wheel is obviously in the way. Wish mine also pointed backwards like on your 24 model there because it's so much easier That said my oil filler is on the side of the block(yellow dipstick), and not incorporated into the fuel tank, which seems a bit odd to me. Also two black lids was a bad design choice on that 24.
I got this model a few years ago. I would love to have the bigger engine on it. It still works great but in heavy wet snow, it takes everything it has in deep snow. I think the extra torque on the new engine would put it over the top. Good review. 😊
I have a 2022 deluxe 24. At the end of the season this last winter I pulled the belt cover to do a belt inspection and there was oil all over the back of the engine. Pulled the engine off of the blower and removed the rear cover to find a big gouge in the rubber seal. It’s fine now after a new seal was installed. Hopefully the new engine is better quality than the LCT 254 is.
Hey JB congrats on the purchase! What’s the diff between the 921045 and 921069? Nevermind just saw the other comment 252 vs 254 engine. Let us know how she goes.
@@GarageGear Hey JB! Since I bought my blower in Feb and never used it due to the lack of snow in Toronto. Your last video inspired me to test in out (in shorts as well). A lot of the things you mentioned the 921069 is lacking came with my 921045. Yellow oil cap, clicking gas cover etc. Weird that it was removed. I gotta ask when my choke is engaged the blower will not start but when I move it from choke to run and then attempt it, it starts like a dream. Is this normal? The gas is fresh.
@ awesome you tested it out in shorts my friend! I’d have to see it in person but I wonder if it’s colder will you need the choke to be on to start it. Hard to say. But if it’s starting right up and running fine I wouldn’t worry.
What is your opinion on the rapidtrak vs wheeled models? I went to the dealer today to ask about taking the track/wheel off to apply anti-seize on the axle shaft and they didn't exactly know how to do it which is concerning 😂. My concern is the snowblower riding up in deep snow vs digging in like the track, but I want to be able to maintain everything myself. Have you had issues with the wheeled models not being able to dig in? Thanks for any advice.
@@therealist5648 hey realist! Tracks are ideal for gravel driveways or steep inclines. Tires will be fine in most other cases. No issues with these Xtrac tires not diggin in! Interesting they didn’t know about the anti seize!
I've got the Green Ariens. It's over 20 years old. Ariens made John Deere snow throwers. The one in your video is very similar to my John Deere 828D. They haven't changed much like the Auger, main body, handle bars, and the snow chute. Controls are different that all. Mine has a Tecumseh 8hp. Same carburetor the whole time never changed or cleaned. Dropped the bowl one time and it was spotless. I'm serious. Seafoam with ethanol free gas. Mobil 1, 5W-30 synthetic oil. Starts easy and doesn't consume oil. Only changed skid shoes and scrapper deal. Replaced auger cable on for the up and down part.
I've got the 2022 model of this. Definitely made changes to it. Mine hasn't seen a ton of use, but works flawlessly when needed, and my oil cap is yellow! 😂

In other reviews, I have noticed many complaints about the autoturn feature preventing clearing heavy wet snow in a straight path as the machine wants to turn to some degree. This looks like a major problem that turns off buyers.
The left handle being the lock handle, makes it a bit awkward to reach over with your right hand, to reach the crank to turn the chute. The turn crank, should be on the right side instead. Also, we can no longer get Ethanol Free gas where I live. Any suggestions? Just continue to use high test and never let the gas sit for too long?

It all comes down to money and manufacturing my friend. I’m sure they had their reasons. Very similar design on toros snowblowers I recently noticed too. Like anything if you take care of it it should last a long time.
one thing i can't understand is why they have the recoil on the "other" side of the blower, wish it was on the same side as the other controls. love my deluxe 28 which i highly modified and it's been through some wars here in Ohio for sure
Picked up a 24” rapid track for a friend last year. Used it once, it’s a nice machine but man it feels so cheap and flimsy. Have you noticed a difference in that respect with the pro models that have the square stock for handles.
Thanks for this review, last year I bought a PowerSmart snowblower, and so far I have worked on it more than I have used it! I'm really happy you bought the Deluxe 24 to review! I just bought a new Deluxe 24 last year, I'm kind of sad I didn't wait and get the new engine but I have heard the old one is really good as well. Why do you think they changed engines?
@@Jeremy-gy1uh hey Jeremy last years engine is tried and true. They run great. It most likely came down to production costs I’m betting. It usually does. They’re testing this one out on deluxe 24 and 28 models. Keep the one you got. They ran that engine for nearly a decade.

I am trying to decide which would be best for the lake effect snow, I am deciding between the ariens deluxe 24 or the deluxe 28, from your Lowe’s video you just posted. I also found a dealer near me that sells them as you said it is much easier to deal with a dealer than the big box stores that sell them. Could you let me know if you think the extra $100 dollars is worth it for the 28 inch deluxe or if you think the 24 inch deluxe would be capable enough for the snow ohio gets. Thank you for your response!

Good tips here Mike!

I've been running ariens for the last 8 years. Nothing beats the power, reliability and snow throwing capabilities at their price point.

@@topgoat6969 that’s a good snowblower you have there. I would have done the same
I went with the 24” Platinum SHO as I have one area about 24x60 feet and all the snow has to go out one of the 24’ sides. The old 8 HP MTD had to move the same snow 6-10+ times to clear the driveway. With the SHO I only have about 10-15’ with a double layer snow to move. The rest clears the driveway in one pass. The job goes much faster with the Ariens… and the price was quickly forgotten!
Thanks for sharing John! Ariens are a buy once cry once kinda of deal lol
Hard plastic skid shoes help with the auto turn. I tried the longer shoes that you use, but found the plastic ones to work the best with the auto turn so that you aren't fighting the machine to keep it straight when you hit the bombs or frozen patches.

@@smallblock412 hey Smallblock! A lot of people own or purchase this model every year so I figured I could make a ton of videos with it. Gonna be a busy winter! Stay tuned bud! 👍
Bought one today, had to replace my 20 yo craftsman 24. Looks like it'll do the job. They say Green Bay could get lots of snow this year. Can't wait to use it.
Awesome! Enjoy the snowblowing season my friend
most of the storms go around the lake.
In other reviews, I have noticed many complaints about the autoturn feature preventing clearing heavy wet snow in a straight path as the machine wants to turn to some degree. This looks like a major problem that turns off buyers.
@@sm111391 no issues with this one. Thanks for sharing
You can get ethanol free "True Fuel" fuel from Home Depot and Lowes....2 stroke premix and 4 stroke...It is a bit pricy.

Interesting they switched engines. Any reasons? Hopefully it’s an upgrade but the old engine seemed pretty reliable
@@MRNOBODY023 I’m guessing so when it recoils back it doesn’t hit the core trolls and break them. Thanks for sharing
Picked up a 24” rapid track for a friend last year. Used it once, it’s a nice machine but man it feels so cheap and flimsy. Have you noticed a difference in that respect with the pro models that have the square stock for handles.
@@SoleEpiphany the pro models feel sturdy because of their reinforced handles. Have you checked all your bolts to ensure they’re tight?

Thanks for this review, last year I bought a PowerSmart snowblower, and so far I have worked on it more than I have used it! I have gone through 11 shear pins on this thing, and it has an odd sized shear pin that the part # they sell for it doesn't fit, so I had to drill out all the of the pin holes, and parts just don't seem to be available, of to Lowes tomorrow to buy this one!

I have the Deluxe 24 but last years model. Sometimes the front can start to drive up onto the snow. I saw Ariens has a 10lb weight you can add to the front. Curious if you had any experience with it or what your thoughts were?
I also added the Ariens polymer skids and have heated hand grips on the way. 😂

Thanks to these reviews, I ordered an Ariens Pro 28. It was delivered to the dealer scratched up.

Great review on that Ariens Deluxe 24 snowblower JB! Question? In the video you mentioned it’s 26 inches wide. Or is it 24 inches wide? Still a really nice machine and USA built! JB, I enjoy your videos especially about the Ariens. I purchased a used Deluxe 24 today ( it is four years old and for $650 I could not resist) and barley used however I found the old style of throttle "ring" irritating and I see on your new model they changed it, good. Hi JB....i was putting my new Ariens together and noticed that the auger shoot does not sit down all the way and make contact with the black plastic base plate...there is a small gap between the two...so the entire shoot assembly is supported by only two bolts in the square tube support arm....is this the correct assembly?....it drives me nuts that its not resting on and supported by the base plate....thanks.
Hard to tell without seeing it in person but I would check to make sure all bolts and parts in their designated spots. It should be sitting on that base!

@@Jeremy-gy1uh hey Jeremy last years engine is tried and true. They run great. It most likely came down to production costs I’m betting. It usually does. They’re testing this one out on deluxe 24 and 28 models. Keep the one you got. They ran that engine for nearly a decade.
I have a 2017 deluxe 24 and while adequate I find it a bit underwhelming for my residential needs. I much prefer my father in laws 35 year old Ariens with the 10 hp motor. Hi, I am looking to purchase a snowblower for this winter especially in Ohio with the crazy snow we just had in my area.
If you can swing the extra $100 get the 28. It throws a little more snow. You won’t be disappointed
