Blacksad: Under the Skin | Launch Trailer | PS4

- Опубліковано 8 вер 2024
- A dark corruption scandal in the heart of the New York City's underworld for charismatic detective John Blacksad.
With its anthropomorphic characters and its incredible 1950s feel, BLACKSAD: Under the Skin promises all the eerily dark adventure of a detective novel, just like the eponymous comic book series.
Conduct the investigation in your own way. Make use of your feline senses as you hunt for new clues. Make decisions on behalf of Blacksad and influence the outcome of the case.
Blacksad: Under the Skin will be available November 14th in physical release and is already available on the PlayStation Store.
The animation looks a little stiff (specially the faces) but the voice acting is really good. Gonna wait and see if the gameplay holds up
This is LA Noire and Wolf among us put together 😍
good one
mixed with a full ounce of Zootopia
briskstudent0 they basically had a 3 sum
Is it that good?
Well said and excellent comparison.
NGL after read all the comics i was waiting for a deeper and cold voice, like rorschach from watchmen
SAMEEEE but i think it does match his charming side though-
i enjoy playing the game. Hope they make another Blacksad game with a new mystery.
Blacksad is an amazing graphic novel, hopefully this game will do it justice though I'm a bit worried about the 16+ rating, the comic talks about heavy stuff without holding any punches... Honestly I'm not sure if you can be true to the source material without a 18+ rating
HAL NOVEMILA do you know if this game is connected to the graphic novel or is it a little extra, like Telltale fables game was?
@@NoxilNobody As far as I can tell it is directly connected to the comic
@@NoxilNobody it s like another case from the novels, it make some references to the novels cases but just that.
Yeah I'm worried about it too. But I also think that a bad video game adaptation would have smaller impact to the legacy of the comics (Which are amazing!) than a bad movie because bad games are usually forgotten quicker than bad movies.
I checked the ESRB rating. And the ESRB rating for Blacksad: Under the Skin is M.
In my head Blacksad will always have Spike Spiegel's voice
my god, i was given the book as a birthday gift and I
never knew that this even existed but yet here it is.
Maaaan, I wish this game comes in comic style rather than 3D :(
it could be in Zootopia style
i came here after watching the backbone trailer, hearing about the comparison to blacksad, reading blacksad, and seeing this. agreed.
Thats chickenpolice paint it red
From a distance, I thought that was Batman cosplaying John Constantine
They should use this in an animated feature film.
It looks good in a graphic novel, but really off-putting in 3D
Batman: I am the terror I am night I am Batman. Blacksad: hold my beer.
Never knew they made a game for this till just now. The whole time I was watching the trailer I couldn't help but think "Steve Blum wasn't available to voice Blacksad?"
I love the comics and just got the game today. Can’t wait to start :D
Master, why did you never come back ?
So much loading time. Some camera angles were bad too and the inability to brisk walk makes it frustrating. Good, fun story though.
American Beastar is lookin pretty dope.
Who clicked cuz the thumbnail looked like batman
Could we consider that as some kind of clickbait?
Me
@@albertomillanmata9282 one hundred percent
Nobody
When you fuse John Constantine and Batman
If we got an Animated movie on Blacksad i could see JK simmions for the role of Blacksad
I loved this Spanish comic. It looks promising.
Picked it up in the sale tbh I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected
But it still needs a lot of updates to be fixed and the camera angles are frustrating when your walking around
Telltale, is that you?
I am really confused about wtf this is, yet hyped up because it's a fkin amazing trailer
It looks like they’ve improved the dialogue from what I saw from the early release it lacked realism and was quite dry it looks better in this one
That's just zootopia with extra crime in it :p
I’d have liked a darker zootopia much more personally
I pefer zootopia
T
Character design in this looks dumb and toxic.
@@fbyi2940 Umm... how so?
Voice sounds like whiskey
Tom as adult
I want this game.
Looks good ✨✨👍
I wonder what the gameplay of this is like
Graphic adventure, telltale style
People: why are they animals lol
Me, an intellectual: thank god, after so many years they've actually done it
Quick Question:
Were can i read the Book/Comic?
Game was all right so far 🦊🐯
Looks like the movie "Food Fight"
Doesn't do the sharp look of the original comics justice. Visuals probably don't translate well. I'll wait for the reviews.
i'll reserve judgment until I see gameplay but looks intriguing.
They missed a golden opportunity for a Law into your own Paws cliche right there
So this is what Jess from Postman Pat is doing these days.
The "Zootopia" sequel's looking pretty dark.
I'm Batman
exactly
@Weight Overload
Good ol Adam West flashbacks...
Dam, i thought he was going to have a smooth deep voice..
What's the song ?
I like the leading voice actor's voice
It's the same guy from Detroit Become Human.
@@EvtheNev are you sure? Which character?
@@Dagg73 The police captain I believe
Zootopia for adults.
I completely forgot this even came out
Looks like Batman but kinda remind me of Savage Dragon.
I need another part😍
*Your local Zoo presents:*
The most generic HBO crime noir show ever. Cliche as all hell.
... but as a game? Hmm, even I'm interested and I roll my eyes at everything! haha
looks good
I'm hyped.
But it's not available in Asia
This reminds me lot of another indie games which is actually like this but in 2D
Is it backbone?
@@ljxeno1669 yess
Needs better lighting. Looks unfinished for a PS4 game.
Tom , dark mode version and without jerry
I'm Catman
Interesting
I actually really like the looks of this, my only problem is that the women look like they don't belong in the universe whatsoever, mainly 'cause of the added *human* hair
I can read myself to this originating from a comic, still, doesn't excuse that the hair looks kinda bad/not needed(because bold doesn't equal male)? I'm sure fans will find great joy in it though.
This is not on the PlayStation store for US.
I don't know about that, but I have a U.S. physical copy.
0:31 Who makes Revolvers that way?
Human Animal hybrids, apparently

LA Noire : Animal Edition
LA Noire: Animal Edition pretty much sums up the Blacksad comics as a whole. Heck like Cole Phelps the lead protagonist of LA Noire Johnathan "John" Blacksad the main protagonist of the Blacksad comics is a morally grey anti-hero with a troubled past who also happens to be a veteran of WW2.
@@derrickhaggard Noir is genre so to say it sum it up yeah there apart of the same genre from... tme same time pireod lol... in the 1950s . doesn't really tell me much beyond it's noir
Well the genre name comes from the French word Noire which means in English shadow mostly because the setting, plots, and main protagonist reflect that shadowy nature. Basically any thing that falls into the noir genre usually has three things a setting where everything seems nice and friendly to those don't who know but to those who are aware know that in reality it's a dangerous place filled with wicked villains including villains who can seemingly get away with committing evil acts due to being in a position of political power/influence, a plot that starts out as a small crime but during the investigation into said small crime a much larger more sinister plot thought up by a wicked villain in a position of political power/influence is revealed with each new clue that is uncovered, and finally there's the main protagonist who is a morally-grey anti-hero/anti-heroine who has a troubled past that haunts him/her and is brought up from time-to-time. Now the similarities to LA Noire, and the Blacksad comics basically fall into those three things LA Noire is within post-WW2 Los Angeles and while to the uninformed LA is a nice city to live in when in reality it's a city filled with dangerous villains including mob bosses who are seemingly untouchable due to having a position of political power/influence, where as the Blacksad comics take place throughout 50s America and yes a lot of the cities, and towns seem like nice places to live where as the reality is their dangerous due to having local villains as part of the population including ones who are untouchable due to being in a position of power/influence. The plots that the two have are very similar because they fall into that same noir plot basically the cases that Cole investigates in LA: Noire while they seem almost not connected at all but as Cole investigates, and solves them he discovers a much larger, and more wicked conspiracy to make, and sell illegal drugs in the city with the perpetrators being the various individuals who seem safe from the law due to having positions within the various seats of the city government, where as in the Blacksad comics John usually starts out investigating small stuff including stuff that the local police deem not worth investigating and throughout his investigation discovers much larger, and darker plots being instigated by various foes who have managed to infiltrate the various local positions of political power/influence. And finally we have the two main protagonists Cole Phelps, and Johnathan "John" Blacksad now these two are very similar and fall within the typical noir main protagonist tropes that being they're both morally-grey anti-heroes with troubled pasts that haunt them with an extra similarity shared between them that being they're both WW2 vets who served in the European Theater, with the only difference between them besides species is that Cole is a full-fledged member of the LAPD, whereas John is a Private-Eye/Consulting Detective who occasionally works with the local police but mostly works by himself.
This is a furry wet dream
When does this come out for the US??
In December if i am not wrong:)
It’s not batman it’s catman.
Okay, I thought he was Batman.
i thought they were making Cats the video game
Wtf it's Batman wait ....it's cats aghhhyhhhhhhhh dgzhxiefjgim *help me"dies.
a bit ugly but if the story follows the comics maybe it can be good
Caravan Palace - Lone Digger, hmm looks like Blacksad! Lets google Blacksad it been a long time, maybe there is some development. MFW: A BLACKSAD GAME WTFFFF xD sidenote: Discoverd there is a 5th Comic o.O
Caravan Place - Lone Digger + Beastars + Blacksad
Epic.
I would be happier with a cartoonier animation. I mean the realism is not complete, so it is disturbing when somewhere something is not realistic enough..
This new “Beastars” luking gud
L.A. Noire 2
Did anyone think it was Batman because I did because of the thumbnail
Cellogames 1 it’s actually Catman
Alfred Chan dadddadadadadadadddaaa cat man
I thought it was batman
Too furry to me
Catman
wtf is this? CATS the musical investigation game? When they start singing?
As a furry...this is a dream come true! :D
As a fan of the Blacksad comics this is a dream come true.
spoiler alert
Zootopia
Blacksad predates Zootopia.
Besides predating Zootopia the Blacksad comics are way more adult themed then Zootopia.
this is LA NOIRE but furrys
OwO
Terrible choice of voice actor
Is that..... Talking Tom?
wut?
