Man i miss those days!!! Back before the Michigan DNR in their infinite wisdom stopped planting Browns the Harbor/river in Elk Rapids was jurassic park. Those Browns were game to eat a bait prsented well almost 100% of the time. Thats a big damn fish Eric. Incredible camera work in a tight space to catch that eat!!! You are a beast
Appreciate seeing the other side of this sport on UA-cam having respect for the fish with smaller single hooks. Could keep'em a bit wetter, but it was a great vid. Thanks.
It’s great to see , I remember back in the sixties when Lake Michigan was decimated then they went and planted Steelhead, Browns and salmon in it and look at it today . Awesome
Yep our DNR truly sucks, we would catch and release the big pigs in Elk Rapids and in the spring troll South of Leland and nuke them trolling the beach
Beautiful fishes, and the last one is incredible !! And I love that true No kill spirit, taking care not to knock the head of fishes on rocks 👍. Congratulation 👏!!
So freaking awesome! I wish I was you. Can’t wait to get up that way. We need to catch one of those huge browns and do a replica to go in are trophy room.
Maaaan, I don't understand it?! How can you only have 59k subscribers. With all this great content an knowledge you spread! Keep it up man, put the meat down best down smack down crack down on em brothaaaaaas!! 💯💯💯💯🤟🤟🤟🤟
Like #300 from me. Great video my friend. Float fishing is awesome, slip float/bobber would of been more practical fishing deeper depths like you mentioned, easier to land for sure. Some nice steelhead and world class sized mama brown. Congrats on the big catch, Eric.
Going to use your link to purchase one of those reels or two. Which size should I get for bass and pike fishing? It says the 500 and 1,000 don't have an anti-reverse switch. I don't want to reel that will spin backwards.
Dude!!! Awesome!!!!!! I am in Northern Michigan on Lake Michigan, is this kind of fishing near me as well? I’ve never done I e off browns before. Chased a lot of steelhead in the rivers but never on the big water before. Awesome fish!
I’m happy when I can catch two/three little trout…you absolutely dropped the hammer on those fish…first time watching your channel great fishing trip.. thanks 👍🏼🎣
Great fish man, congrats! Which state are you fishing out of? Where I'm from, it never snows and we don't get trouts that big, at least that I have caught.
I'm in Appleton, I moved to Winnebago for the walleye fishing. :) Help me out, where should I go to catch some steelhead and browns? I have a brand new Lund. We should be friends. :)
I've been following you and your absolute slay fest of multiple browns this size recently, well done! You ever try casting small jerkbaits/small swimbaits for them this time of year? Im not much of a river guy at all but I DO love the late winter/March super aggressive brown trout bite in the bays and Marina's tossing bait fish imitation lures.
Great catch! Anglers can learn a lot from how carefully you handled that trout. Much respect.
