Fun fact: I was originally going to do a Twin Peaks reference counter but gave up after it would have been going off non-stop.

I love how you edited out most of the parts where joe is confused in the beginning with where the game is going, so it looks like he's just going along with most of it, no questions asked
I just watched the first stream again recently and it's really a huge massive difference. I think it's for the better, but it NOT the original experience at all, he is CONSTANTLY guessing where it's going and just almost bewildered.

It is insane to me that Joseph is so adamant about compatability mode or windowed not changing anything. There are tons of games that have issues with/without those.
I'm here for it. I love how off the wall this lunatic is.
In my experience it's never changed anything for me. Idk maybe he tried it and it didn't work or had the same experiences as I have
@@ducksauce172 Compatibility mode won't always work but it does demonstrably make a difference. The older the game the lower the chances it's going to run on more modern systems and OS. When that happens, simplest troubleshoot you can do is run it in compatibility with the next lower OS version available and keep going until either one option works or none work.
IIRC OBS has issues capturing games in compatibility mode.
Instead of using the flawed compatability mode, play the game in a VM.

Weird, I thought for forever that Indigo Prophecy and Deadly Premonition were the same game just different titles for US/EU or something. Not sure how I fell under that assumption but seeing this game for the first time is something. Also learning where that song came from that everyone uses.
Indigo Prophecy does have a different name in other regions. Goes by Fahrenheit.
And in Japan, I believe Deadly Premonition was called “Red Seeds Profile”

Oof, on one hand it is insane that he refuses to believe that compatibility mode can fix the game, on the other it is Deadly Premonition. I have dealt with some janky ass pc games but this one slayed me. I never did beat it because of the controller issue that arises at the final boss. I could have plugged the keyboard, but by then i was just fucking done with this game. It is charming but also kinda horrible. Can't wait to see Joseph's suffering.

Joseph is on thin ice claiming store bought bread is cheaper than baking at home.
Hes probably right when you factor in the cost of ingredients + the cost running the oven. Plus you end up having to buy ingredients in larger amounts than you need. At least in the UK anyway, esepcially when you can get a cheap (but pretty shit) loaf for 85p
I can buy a loaf of bread for like $2, when you factor in time and effort it's gotta be cheaper than baking at home

The game was announced under the name "Rainy Woods" and was even closer to actual Twin Peaks, down to visually ripping off entire elements like Black Lodge, before allegedly getting in trouble for that, getting delayed and reannounced under a different name after a very thin coat of paint, look up "Rainy Woods TGS"

2:16:00 I knew an american who told me "you speak american so well" and thought that americans dont speak enligsh, that english is separate and the people in england speak an entirely different language to americans.
And to that accent bit; the only people who can claim that they dont have an accent in their native language are people who's language is not spoken in other countries and they speak the "clean" form.
E.g. as a german I speak "hochdeutsch" - "high-german" which is just the baseline language that was agreed upon, speaking that without using any regional dialect means you actually dont have any accent for the language
