Awesome man i will bear that in mind, focus more on the kit and some more tutorial n that, im not amazing at knots but reef is the easiest wnd most useful i use it for everything!

The camping and video style remind me of Xander Budnick, and Shiey, but with the added bonus of motorcycles, its the perfect mix. I absolutely love these videos! Also, the knot tutorial was a really nice touch, it would be cool to see more of it, and as other comments have said, a gear rundown would be amazing too :)

Hi mate, very good video, same for your previous one too! Only thing I might suggest is extend the riding bits. Watching you eat the delicious food is good, but would’ve also liked to see you challenge your way out of the forest or the ride leading up to the woods. If that makes sense or is even possible?
@@Snakeeyes7676 that is definitely possible i value the feedback, the reason i didn't do that is for this camp i was on my old bike, which is shit off road, and the location i was in was very small, so if i showed too much of how i got there it would give it away, and on the way out i just went A to B cos my clutch was knackered, the furst vid i did contained more riding, and next ones will as well as iv fixed my new bike 👌
@@MudSlingMX Two wheels is two wheels, looked like you were handling it pretty well. Fair enough about the size of the place, best keeping the best spots quiet. Keep up the good work anyways & stay safe. Look forward to the next one!
I've slept in a tent with 3 dogs. I highly recommend it, you never get cold. the only problem is an extra 2kg for the tent and sleeping mat, and the mat takes up a bit of room. I'd still prefer that over a hammock for camping with dogs though. but I have a light ADV rather than a dualsport, so I can carry more, but can't go through as rugged terrain. (not that we are allowed to in New Zealand) I like the idea of taking a dog into their natural habitat to be a dog. would love to see her trotting along an easy trail at whatever pace she wants to do, they can cover a fair distance if they aren't running, so 5 miles into the middle of nowhere is not out of the question at all (it's just a case of getting them back out in a hurry if you need to)
@@3GingerCats spot on mate, i trained mine as a sheep dog and i used my bike to herd when i wasnt using the quad, so she is used to running and working with the bike for hours on end in hot and cold, shes great companion it does make you feel a lot less alone and vulnerable, but ill be very selective about which adventures she comes on to keep her safe
Thank you! Thats awesome to hear, she is a kelpie x boarder collie, i trained her to herd sheep but now she just comes out to the woods with me etc as there are no sheep for her to herd anymore!
A few things: - enduro riding is not mx. Practice some more or else you’ll end up stranded in some remote destination. A broken clutch cable can destroy your weekend. Not to mention any more serious issues. - when riding off of the existing trails, do not break traction. This is completely against the "leave no trace" idea. Respect the flora, please. - do not build your fire next to/under a tree like this, ever. 99 times you’ll be lucky, until that one time. - get some decent light. This spot light is terrible outdoors. Get some mixed flood/spot light, maybe a headlamp to keep your hands free. Also, love the dreadlocks! Keep it up!
🤣 i have never ridden mx in my life haha, i only ride enduro and hard enduro if you look at my other videos such as riding at mick extance etc, i broke traction as i have permission to be there and i ride there often and it looks good on camera and thats an access that gets churned up by tractors once a year, my clutch cable is fine, the friction plates are worn out cos thats my old bike and i havent changed them in a while, also my entire life i have lived in the countryside making fires and bushcraft camps etc, there is absolutely no issue with fire placement next to that tree at all, although i appreciate your concern! Thanks for watching
Also that torch is a headlamp that has a flood and in the centre of the flood is a focused beam, the camera adjusts ISO so it makes it look like its just a beam
@@MudSlingMXI was misled by the MX in the name :) Yeah, that’s what I meant, the clutch can burn in no time with this kind of riding, clutch cable can break, and more. However, I did think it’s some remote location and you do wild camping, and can be difficult to reach if anything goes south. Same thing for the traction. If this is private property you’re allowed to shred then I guess it’s OK. Personally, I never do that when off the main trails. It’s a matter of respect for the environment and the wilderness. The fire so close to a tree always makes me anxious. I’ve seen a video of bush fire that had started like this. Sparks ignited the branches above. Like I said, it’s all good until it isn’t.
