Totally work ! I accidently pull of the cable during transfering . And when I attached the cable again , I did not find any folder . I only use the method until mtp usb device and it totally worked . Thank you !

This actually worked, unlike many websites! I went to device manager, updated the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver manually by using Browse and then "Let me pick", then refreshing devices in Device Manager. I could then see Portable Devices / Apple iPhone and it showed up on My Computer, but empty. I then did the same driver update steps for the Apple iPhone entry, even if browsing automatically found it was up to date. Then I unplugged, reconnected, and now I see the DCIM photo/video folders as expected so I can manually backup without using iTunes. Thanks!

Awesome!! Discovered I had to plug my phone into a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0 port. Path was control panel>hardware and sound>devices and printers>right click on apple iphone>troubleshoot and it said my phone was an older phone and not supported by USB 3.0 and to try 2.0. So I plugged it into a USB 2.0 and it worked! Thank Youi!

I read your comment and with slight alteration i can see the file for transfer, thank you! My pathway was control panel> hardware and sound> devices and printers> right click on apple iPhone> browse files. Then my iPhone drive appears on file explorer!

Hi Sir… I am having iPhone 7plus. Trying photos transfer from phone to Win10 OS laptop. Detecting the Apple Phone. But showing empty folders. As per your video tried the troubleshooting, updating phone driver under portable devices, AMD USB Composite Device driver. Restarted all the times update. I don’t have Generic HUB to do power management off. After all these options also still issue persists. Appreciate your help.

A simple trick is that just go to control panel printers and devices right click on ur device e.g my device is iPad click properties go to hardware left click on what ever u seen on device functions and hit properties and click driver and hit update driver that’s it if this work I deserve an like ❤

My iphone12 won’t open a page on an app that I HAVE to sign a lease on in order for me to keep my license.
Their technical support doesn’t help at all and I am freaking out.
