As a Medical Professional myself, I loved Dr. Felix's approach. I agree with what he is saying and he has inspired me to follow his advice. Thanks. Great video.

I really liked this video, David. Thank you for having Dr. Felix. I'd love to see one where he goes over diet or at least, foods to eat to build muscle and what to eat to lose fat.

I find I love cardio. I love it on an adventure aspect. Trail running, new locations. Weight lifting is great and feels good but it doesn’t feed adventure. You need both in measured numbers.

Great video. I’ve been all about Cardio for quite some time, but my brother pushed me to the weights. It really does make a diffference.
Lots of notes taken from this video.
After the last video I have tried to monitor what I eat, whilst still enjoying food. I’ve noticed that by adding more protein has given me more energy in the gym and it’s certainly made an impact

Watch this video several times, this is vital information! Resistance training is the most important exercise you need to do especially as we get older. Yes, it takes 66 times doing something before it becomes a habit... Force it to make it a habit! Also, find the time by making it a priority. These are the some of the best pieces of advice in this video.

I did tae kwon do 12 sessions a week yes twice a day 6 days a week for many years as well as bike riding. My legs became very large with muscle. After 35 years of not training my legs are still muscular and large. I have lost a little muscle mass over the years but not that much after doing little exercise since I stopped training. I fully believe it’s the way you develop muscle that determines if you retain it. For me, Slow muscle growth with endurance equals slow muscle loss over time.

Tend to agree with that from personal experience as well. Simon Waterson once had written on his website, if I recall correctly, that in an intake questionnaire, he would also ask what a client had done in his/her younger years sports wise as it would determine which muscle fibres are easiest switched on.

Great video. I’ve been reading tributes to Mike Lynch after he was lost at sea earlier this week. Turns out he was a huge 007 fan, drove a DB5 and named conference rooms at his company after villains from the books and movies. Seems like an interesting guy. Perhaps a tribute video is in order?

More note taking! Thank you for the great content, I appreciate it. I have always put cardio before resistance exercise and I am having to relearn that.

I do that too. May not be optimal but makes sure you’re properly warmed up before lifting, tiredness may mean you need lower weights to get the same benefit, and if it’s what you enjoy…

Judo, running, ski-erging, mountain biking, all great. Strength training, I do some but I just don’t find it as satisfying. A workout that doesn’t get ny heart rate up, doesn’t feel like a workout.

Great video as usual David. Felix appears to say 72 hours between working a muscle group. I'm rapidly approaching 50, shouldn't the gaps be longer as you get older?

Starting to working out, you'll feel the positively shocking benefits. Stronger, more limber, clearer thinking, faster reflexes...at least it's what I've noticed.

First of all - how did you find someone named Felix to be in the videos? LOL. "A genuine Felix Lighter." SECONDLY - would you consider posting the Dr. Felix segments as podcasts? Some (like me) might like to listen to them while working out. Thanks!!!!
