The mantra of living like Bond, one moment at a time emanates from a concept of experiencing the joy of collecting small moments in life that add up to amazing journeys and stories....whether it's through style, locations, literature, fitness, and the movies themselves the world of Bond is explored through its people and their stories.
Ultimately though, The Bond Experience channel is a celebration of the James Bond franchise and the many people that form a true community. Our core mission is to create a strong connection in the Bond community amongst all the fans, regardless of interest or demographic.

Luke's approach is the correct one. Take inspiration from Bond and then make it suit you - don't unthinkingly ape what Bond does. Find what suits you, including colours. Dress for you.

A lot of summer and transition to fall clothing wear techniques discussed. Might I say that many of these I have discovered on my own, but found a few new ones here. I do like the storing of the previous season away; it is just too much in the closet to look at. They also all don't fit. Twice a year I must access my two boxes of seasonals and do a rotation and determine if anything must go. Cary Grant, Sean Connery and James Coburn are great icons of those holiday transitional outfits when the day goes from cool to warm. Good information gentlemen.

Suede shoes look great! Picked up a pair myself earlier today. Great versatile style across seasons.

In the ‘autumn’ (U.K.) yes the linen gets put away as the pea coat comes out, plus I have a few items in burned orange/ brick which start to get worn

David, I have a challenge for you: hypothetical bond outfits. He's in the alps on vacation in December, staying in a spa hotel in Switzerland with Madeleine.
    What would he wear for...
    The Spa
    Dinner out
Shopping after a day of skiing

Love the content! Here’s an idea that I think would help men like myself who look to Bond (and David or sites like Iconic Alternatives) for inspiration on our style and ultimately what to spend our hard earned money on. An infographic of the Bond inspired essential pieces for shoes, tops, bottoms, and layers outerwear. And you could categorize by season or activity in which appropriate versus all seasons or which colors would be best given the rest of the recommended essentials. This would be great because it’s hard to focus on all the pieces that are mentioned in the style videos and could limit my focus and budget down to what I need if I start from scratch. Especially want to hear David’s take since he has all of these he can pull from to determine which truly get the most wear and he would consider essential.

If you don’t have the body for a Sunspel polo (full disclosure - I don’t) Luca Faloni has linen polos that look strikingly similar to Sunspel and are more forgiving for us shorter fatter dudes. Also, even if Sunspel polos are a no-go, don’t totally disregard the brand; their cotton/linen short sleeve button downs fit completely different (read, better for me).

The biggest physical transition for me is moving the fall/winter items to the front of the closet nearest the pants and jeans. All the shorts stay in the dresser drawer. Being in NC, I can get away with Sunspel polos down here much longer than you can in PA. I also have a couple of long-sleeve Riviera polos that get a lot of mileage along with the navy Harrington and black Y3 Haiti jacket both from @royalefilmwear. I’m very ready to wear my N. Peal cashmere which didn’t get a lot of use last fall and winter. Ready for cooler temps and to be done with baking when I go out! 🥵 Both you and Luke keep up the great work!

    David, another fun video.
Since I split my time between the Southwest and the Northeast, transitions are different.
I absolutely change out the closet in both venues in September and, in WNY, in November when I pull out my heavyweight sweaters - milspec only. Corduroy trousers and leather coats are winter items in both venues My winter milspec clothes and boots are essential wear in the Buffalo area.
It is fun to pull out the new season clothes and revisit memories of past years.
My days of working in the trade are long over and my aged body type is closer to Connery in NSNA than Craig in any of his films so most of your recommendations won’t work on 6’4” 220lbs. C’est le vie.

Thanks for the video! In Arizona, the transition for me often is short sleeve, to long sleeve. Then in late fall, the jackets and sweaters appear. But the one thing, i can never ever ever do, is shoes without socks. I don't know why, but it kind of grosses me out, lol. And I haven't gotten to the point of slip ons yet. When i look down, l need to see laces. Maybe someday when I need a long handled shoe horn to help me put my shoes on I'll transition to slip ons. Actually I might give it a try and see how it feels, but I will have on socks!

We have so much in common! I never get a tan either - just go red! lol
    Espadrilles are always cool (IMO).
Nice call about those trousers - I'll look into getting some. I walked past you at the Royal Albert Hall so I know we're both ideally and not excessively tall (note - the only reason I didn't say hello was that you seemed to be very busy - & it's rude to interrupt).
    Great video. Thanks!

Transition from Summer to Fall to Winter in Phoenix is different. Fall and Spring can present cold mornings with hot afternoons. Layering is essential during those times of the year. Hoodies, though not Bondian I wear them a lotq, along with a Harrington or RGT are great options over tees and polos, for me.

Your next video should be called- “The Calceology of James Bond” and inject deadpan-style humor references from each film reference for the various talking points 😂
I'm with Luke on the points of using Bond as sartorial reference based on seasons. It's also great to take rudimentary elements of Bond’s attire and learn to spot these elements outside of the typical go-to brands currently on the radar.
    Great video!
Ps. Luke did you grab David’s ass as you were pointing to his crotch? It’s okay if you did. Mr. Zadir wants to know😂

I like Luke live in the Midwest, however mines not a closet transition but a dresser set-up I have a draw or two dedicated to all my sweaters, then a section dedicated to polos and lightweight shirts my closet holds all my jackets and shoes and long sleeve shirts, unfortunately for me I work in an environment we're I can rarely wear my bond or Indiana Jones inspired stuff as I dont wanna ruin it. The exception being the watches but that's a different story. Long story short I do like to layer and mix and match items that work for all year round
