#62 - I think they didn't go into detail about what happened because they didn't want to spoil anything for people who haven't yet played Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon. I think that's pretty cool and considerate, so I wouldn't consider it a sin. But then there are those Easter egg phone calls with spoilers for the other games, so....that's definitely a sin. hehe
6:33 - I didn't realize it until now, but naming Yanni's home country "Fredonia" is definitely an intentional reference to _Duck Soup_ and not just an instance of the name being the same by chance. Yanni's hometown is "Eladsaet," which is "Teasdale" spelled backwards. Margaret Dumont's character in _Duck Soup_ is Mrs. Teasdale.
30. I don't think that they're saying the wolf directly caused the accidents, I'm pretty sure they're saying that it brings bad luck, like a curse. Also, 14. The maid chores don't even take that long to do, so it's not that big of a deal. It also gives her free, unquestioned access to everyone's rooms, and it gives her a cover as well. The cooking is just thrown in there, and it only interferes with her investigation, so that's why she's upset about it.
Also, one thing that I've seen the CinemaSins people do is create "CinemaWins" videos where they say everything good about certain movies, and I thought that if you want, you could take some of your favorite games from this series and create videos like that for them. Just a suggestion.
8:04 So in other words, you could reach the end of the game, and have no clue who Yanni is due to not speaking to him? Well that makes the villain reveal oddly anticlimactic
@@GraemeCree It's an interesting observation. I always talk to everyone, every time I see them, so this doesn't usually happen to me, but I did miss Guadalupe the first two times I played this game. It's weird to think that I could have missed Yanni if I was a little more rushed.
Additional sin: the game will say you crashed into something during the snowmobile challenge, even if there’s at least a cm of space between the thing and the snowmobile on the screen.
A few more things that I thought of: •Ollie ends most of his conversations with “if you need anything, just holler”, but acts annoyed every time you approach him. •Ollie was originally under the impression that he couldn’t tell Nancy about the accidents at the lodge because Chantal told him not to talk about it. If he knew that Nancy was there to investigate the reason behind these accidents, why would he assume this? •Lou’s whole storyline of digging up bones is interesting but ends up being kind of irrelevant.
One thing you missed is that in Nancy's first phone call with Tino he answers the phone and greets Nancy without knowing who it is that is calling. She is using the lodge's phone to make the call so it's not "her number" that would show up like Tino says and from what we know Chantel never told Tino she was also consulting Nancy. She only told Nancy that Tino was being consulted.
WHY are you only able to use the snowmobile the one time before the end game? I don’t get NEARLY enough practice in not-crashing-into-things before being sent on the minutes-long chase sequence
I've never owned the computer version of this game. I've only played the Wii version. So when I saw the cooking, my immediate thought was "I am SO GLAD I did not have to go through that." This game is perhaps the longest Nancy Drew game in the series and I like that it is different in that way. I can understand why other people wouldn't like it because of that, but that shouldn't be a fault of the game. Fox & Geese has never bothered me, I figured out the strategy you use in one of your walkthroughs pretty early on myself so I always use that when I play the game. This is one of my favorite ND games (mostly due to the atmosphere and music) and I'm sad that the mainstream was exposed to the Nancy Drew series in a poor way through the bad Wii port with GameGrumps. This game deserves more of a chance.

@@ur_friendlyneighborhoodcommie The glowing green eyes on the ram head in the lodge is supposed to allude to radioactive material being near Icicle Creek lodge.
