    The Tissot PR516 Chronograph Mechanical: a nod to Tissot's distinguished 1970 model. Crafted with a 41mm stainless-steel case and a glassbox-style sapphire crystal, this watch is a testament to sophisticated craftsmanship. At its heart lies a Swiss manual winding movement, visible through the open caseback, showcasing the intricate mechanics. The dial, featuring Super-LumiNova®️-coated indices and hands, ensures readability in any setting. A tachymeter on the bezel adds a touch of functionality. Its versatile design is complemented by a domed stainless-steel bracelet with a quick interchangeable system, perfect for transitioning from business meetings to casual outings. The PR516 Chronograph Mechanical is an exquisite piece for watch connoisseurs who appreciate timeless design and mechanical precision.

    I looked at it with interest.
    I bought this watch about two weeks ago.This watch is so well made that I can't think of it because of its price, and it's also highly accurate.I got a wonderful watch.

      @@ClickSpringReview thank you so much! It sits much slimmer on the wrist than the 14.1mm would suggest. I’m a slim guy, but my wrists are 7.5 in diameter so the watch sits beautifully.

    This watch would be a home run if it weren’t for the non-matching hands. The fact that the minute hand has the syringe style pointer and the hour hand doesn’t completely ruins it for me. Love the channel btw!

    Quite a good looking watch this. I own an earlier automatic variant of the 516 with the 7750 movement and the carbon dial. Very thick watch though and the rotor is extremely loud.

    • @ClickSpringReview
      @ClickSpringReview  Місяць тому +1

      The rotor on the 7750 movements has always been loud I kinda like for that , this will be a few millimetres slimmer being its a hand wound only movement

    Hi Barry, it looks amazing value: very few chronos can be had for less than £2,000. Like many chronographs it is uncomfortably big for my wrist, so for a hand wound model I'd look at the Hanhart 417 ES 1954 series, or, of course, the Sinn 356 series. Having said that my Seagul 1963 38mm fits like a glove...
    I support what you said about Rowland at FC Watches, I was looked after very well, and my new Muhle Panova Blau is everything I'd hoped for... LG Bob 🍻

    Good review: accurate and to the point. I've just received my PR 516 today and I think it looks and feels excellent. Good standard of finish and fit.
    I've had many many more expensive Swiss watches and this doesn't feel cheap at all. The bracelet is slightly better than the Tag Heuer Formula 1 imo.
    The only thing I haven't found is how many times to wind the crown. The booklet doesn't say. I wound it 50+ times and I guess there's a clutch in there as there's no resistance...

      Thants Sir , interesting if when you wind it up fully you can hear click sound it may have a barrel like an automatic were the spring slips or if you cant hear that it could be snapped at the very end, how long is the power reserve ?

    It's a reasonably attractive watch in that Morris Marina Tissot way. I don't quite understand how they keep using the PR516 name on their modern watches and not look at their back catalogue. Those 70s 516s were achingly cool. Todays, not so much. They did well with the PRX so why not again? Still, uninformed wives in Malaysian malls will buy them by the dozen no doubt.

    • @ClickSpringReview

      Sometimes they just can't let a name drop , for a Chronograph it offer good valve and I dare say there maybe a deal to be had with one 👍🏻
