Hi, I use an old 3DS non-XL version, and I did everything up to 9:40, but when I go on the SD card menu, it just says "There is no accessible software data". How can I fix this?

Thank you for making a perfect tutorial for this. In about 30-45 minutes I had it done (after getting a non-corrupted microSD) and I am currently playing Ocarina of Time on it. I have never done anything related to this before (despite majoring in computer science lol)but it was all really easy

Update: Ive been binge downloading so many games themes I always wanted to do this but I thought it was way out of my reach I was even going to buy a 3DS modded for like 300 while having 2 already so the fact that this popped up on my recommendation and actually worked is just gods plan Fr can’t thank you enough.

first thing first i must say a big THANK YOU! this is probably the easiest tutorial to follow along with that i have every used/tried! each instruction step was so clear and easy for understand, even for someone like me who does not have english as their first language :) however i have a question... what would happen if i were to change the sd card? do i have to factory reset my 3ds and do it all again, or can i just move all the files from one card to another? i realised way too late that my current sd card is not big enough for all the games i wanted to download :(
All you have to do is just transfer over your files to the new SD and you should be all set

Hi, really cool guide but I am having trouble on the DSiWare exploit, I think I did everything correct up to 9:50 but when I select the DSiWare and go to my SD card it just says that there is no accessible software data..... (I have a 2Ds btw)
Try formatting your SD card to fat32
Try a new card
Make sure you don't have a lock switch on your card locked
Probably the most fun I’ve had doing a random thought in a while

This tutorial helped out a ton, much faster than if I would've done it on my own.
It would've been nice if there we're additional steps for opening the back of the 3DS and checking if an SD card is already FAT32 (for first timers)
Aside from that 10/10 tutorial!
Thankyou so much for making this video it really helped me out and it does actually work, the only thing is that if you are using the tutorial you have to have some patients because it is not a super quick process but it should only take around 30-45 minutes to do!

Ngl bro this vid was sooooo helpful when I was modding my girl and I's 3DS. It was very very VERY thorough and that's something I need when doing these things. Edit: It worked on my new 2ds xl, i used your old tutorial for my new 3ds xl like a month ago, but i traded for a new 2ds xl cause its lighter, we reset both our consoles lol. Thanks, I subbed and liked!

I followed all steps but by 11:47 my 2ds did not go to the next step and now does not turn on. It shows a white light and dosen't stay on....
Your boot files aren't in the right spot on your sd

when insert the new microSD card with all the stuff on it into the 3ds it says could not detect microSD card. it can detect my other microSD card. and the new one still works on my computer. please help🙁

I have a 32gb SD card that's in fat32 format and I'm currently stuck here 9:50. MicroSD Card just says "There is no accessible data."
when i turned my 3ds on a pop up came up saying “the sd card is protected. the sd card cannot be displayed” why is this?
Either your SD card is locked or you did not format it correctly, check out the tool in the description

I have a jailbreked ds but the old sd card broke so I bought a new one. The ds is still jailbroken but what do I have to put on the sd card now
You will have to update luma As well as a couple of other things

You either need a new SD card or didn't format this one properly
thanks for still updating this kind of stuff, though just one question i have is "s there anything related to the homebrew stuff that can brick the console or make an sd card un useable? since with my homebrewed New 3DS XL my 32 GB sd card won't run on the console.
Brick risk is always going to be there but killing the SD card? No
Your SD card must either be on its way out or if it has a lock switch on the side it could be locked.
Try a new card and just copy your files over to it

For me it says no applications found on the sd card make sure a folder named /3ds exists in the root of the SD card and it contains applications? I have no idea what to do here ..feedback would be much appreciated!
It means that you most likely didn't structure your SD card correctly.
Go back and check all your steps that you've done so far and verify everything is in the correct spot

great tutorial, it's been going perfectly so far! i have a small question, though. i followed all the instructions and things so far have gone well, but i can't seem to find the luma folder in the sd card . the one thats supposed to have the "config.ini" folder in it. is there something else that needs to be downloaded, or do i need to redo the tutorial, if i'm even able to?
I know I'm sorta late to this but when making the DSI folder there are extra folders, are the other folders there from other videos or are they mandatory to have?

I did everything till the screen started flashing red and green after I did the proxy setting and the detailed set up. But I cant continue cause the screen turned black. The DS is still powered on, but nothing is on my screen??

Great video! I know I'm a little late to the party but I have a problem, once I get to the bannerbom3 section to install boot9strap, my 3ds says that it doesn't see anything to use. I followed the steps exactly up to that point to install the program but it doesn't give me a prompt, doesn't go to the weird screen, doesn't show any signs of working. I have one of the original 3ds (not XL), and have formatted the microSD card to fat32, I have to use an adapter, is that the problem? Any advice would be helpful.
Never mind, I looked at my files again and realized I had a folder in the DSi folder that was preventing it from reading the food program.
