    Terrific work! I installed this OLPF today and it really breathed new life into the OG. It's a shame it didn't come with this 11 years ago. Very happy with it!
    One thing I should have done though is took more time on the install, I broke the o-ring pretty easily. It's not a big deal though (just stuffed it back in and it's solid). Thanks again for doing this! It makes me want to get the Eclipse. Keep up the great work! Cheers

      Thank you for the feedback Soren, really appreciate it brother.
      I took am loving shooting with this and not having to worry about wasted shots. I think there is a low-cost replacement for the O ring. I'll get back to you asap.
      Thanks again.

      @@Altcine It's a game changer. The moire was really something that was keeping this camera on the shelf. It seems to help a bit too with the chroma noise when shooting RAW. I'll keep an eye out for an o-ring replacement. Keep up the great work!

      Simon is going to measure the o-ring and I'll update you soon.

    Told you, damn algorithm 😂 just found this now.. sigh. With my luck and clumsiness I want a second G2 first 😂 I am forever dropping screws and bolts. Put a surface underneath that shouldn't be scratched.. yup thats me without a backup 😂😂

    I got 2x of these for 2 of my BMPCC OGs. I've been wanting to put a focus mark on my BMPCC cage, which originally is measured at FFD=19.25mm.
    With the addition of the OLPF and the need to shim the mount to adjust for that optical thickness and discrepancy, that flange distance will be different tot the original value. Do you guys know the exact value of that correction compared to the 19.25mm? Is it a case of adding the thickness of the shim to the FFD or is it more complicated than that?
    Whichever way, can you help me with finding the right number so I can etch that exact measurement into my camera cage please. Thanks

      @Altcine  2 місяці тому

      @@TitoFernandes hi Tito, yes you'd just add the shim thickness. I can't remember the size from memory as Simon dealt with it. Drop us an email and I'll get back to you tomorrow.

    Perfect timing on this video. I just picked mine up at the Post Office this afternoon and I plan on installing it tomorrow morning with a fresh mind. You guys have really revolutionized my use of the BMMCC with your products. Keep up the good work and keep them coming.

      Awesome Chris 🙌🏾 please let me know how infinity focus works for you.
      I haven't put the shim in mine and my focus is perfect so I'm looking for feedback.

      @@Altcine It worked like a champ - no issues with near or far focus. I used the shim - tested both using both a 25mm T2.2 and 50mm Meike Cine T2.2 lenses. Install went exactly like the video. Thanks a lot. BTW - I saw the prices of some OLPF for this camera and they are outrageous. This is definitely worth the money spent.
