Hi Claire . Welcome to this baby channel. If you want to make diffusers the best place to but it all is eroma . You basically need the bottles, diffuser reeds, bottle caps, base diffuser mix, fragrance. Also boxes if you want to box it. You don’t need to register as a soap maker as that’s not classification of soap or hazard chemicals like soap. Then you can register as a sole trader through the ATO AND ASIC . It sounds complicated but little steps and you can do it. I have also started the Australian soapery and candle conference which is a conference for for want be business owners, creators and makers Thad held in Melbourne each March and that would be a great fit. You can come live or online to see the event. I’ve piped in the website fir you to look at. I spend at least 25 hours a week recording and editing so make sure you plan it out well but you can just do 1 a week if you want at the start to see how you go. It’s about giving it ago . I honestly have been shocked with the large and super supportive followers. But others have said it’s been hard for them as their channel has not grown as fast so I’m not sure the secret. I just try to be me and helpful as that was my goal to give recipes and help rather than holding it tight to my chest but it’s a personal choice too. Let me know when you start

No there is not that many channels for recipes. I don’t know what goes through some peoples heads because we are all in this together and because no one soap will ever be exactly the same - design, texture, and fragrance. So just lets share it would be a much better world I think and thank you for sharing all your recipes, it will also help someone out there that maybe struggling.

What colour and brand pink did you use and how much did you put in to get the light pinky colour? Also, could you please do a video on making those labels for those jars? Thank you
Hi. I use azure red and that becomes pink in most bathbombs. As for colour you need to test as getting a certain colour with depend on many variables but start with 1/4 Tea spoon . It’s hard to give certain colours as monitors, ingredients, and more effect it. Also not all ingredients are equal as a bicarb from one supplier will be different to another. Labels for these jars are very tricky and a lot of angles had to be done to achieve it, my husbands an engineer so he helped achieve angles and so on but look up cup or ice cream container labels as that’s how I did it . Hope this helps
how long do the reed diffusers usually or typically last? I know it likely depends on the fragrance like with anything else, but tpically speaking? Also what do these usually sell for?

So far my testing is that they can last for up to 5 months . But generally I’d say 3 months . My blooming rose is my favourite one to date. I’ve not had that. I don’t refill as it’s a insurance risk. You don’t know how or where the customer stores products, how the jar is looked after so I suggest re selling a new one each time.

@@christinek6288 in my opinion it does not work. If you look at all the professional bases they are are an alcohol base with ingredients . The reed sticks are a wood or fibre stick and the oil and fragrances cannot be absorbed freely through them. I’ve honestly had no sucess with oils

Sure the plain glass is from eroma in Australia and they have many lids. Also pure candle supples have black bottles
Can you add food coloring for color, or would that damage the scent or reeds?
No never use food colouring. Its not designed for this. You can use water soluble dyes

I used the oil just because the base is a bit expensive.
You cannot use oil at all as it clogs the wick.

Please can I blend Sandalwood fragrance oil with jasmine fragrance oil to create my signature blend what do u think
You can try anything at all. Do a test one and see your thoughts. I would do only 30% sandalwood as it may overpower jasmin

Yes i know what you mean as its happened to me. Its because they are coloured and the solution is strong. Honestly i just work with it and never have complaints
