Plus the non bougie feel to Enes Yilmazers videos coupled with the genuine "bro" chemistry with Mikey makes it all the more enjoyable.

Aliya is the best in Africa, but no one in Africa is detailed with their tours. Just fancy words to upsell instead of actual knowledge of material origins and style genres. Enes Yilmazer isn't better than Producer Michael in America but they are both top 3 in America. Producer Michael sticks to LA Mansions. Peter J Ancona is the best in Miami/condos. No other market has the same luxury condo/penthouses beachfront mansions as Miami, and he shows them. Architectual Digest is great as well. Ryan Serant seems like he just follows up what others already did and not that informed on the actual materials. That other guy caleb who asks strangers to see their places along with Architectural Digest show NYC better and more fully.
The open lawn on the 2nd floor did it for me. It adds such a beautiful pause to appreciate the sea view without feeling trapped on the 2nd floor.

I love the architecture of the place, beautiful. Although I was disappointed by the interior, I imagined the interior would mirror the architecture. Id've assumed you'd get the flushed out, clean look of a late modern to futuristic look. But it's a beautiful house regardless....

This home is a bit too modern for me...but..if I had the money to get to South Africa n rent it for my husband n myself n our 5 children..18 grands n 18 greats..n a few more...I'd jump at the chance. I'd absolutely Love it. I raised my 4 alone n they would deserve a vacation like this.

“Cement column” will make some professionals cringe.
Another question, probably for Peerutin Architects, is why in the world would you spec Balau wood (a structural hardwood timber, an expensive timber as that) only for the purpose of being aesthetic?

Yes cement column should be changed to architectural precast Ashlar column.
In answer to the use of Balau wood, it is traditionally used for boat building. The close grain texture is suitable for resistance to sea salt. A fun fact for you… the same wood Noah used to build his boat 😉
