He had a tragic, deprived childhood and is entirely self-taught. I have heard that in the Philippines there is a cultural tradition of two voices like this for men. You have one vocalist capable of delivering two or potentially more voices ( what is his actual viable range?). Some people try to compare Marcelito with Dimash, but Marcelito is completely self taught and Dimash has been classically trained since childhood.
