Another case of a defendant not accepting even an inch of responsibility, even after 1 piece of evidence after another is thrown in her face. Here is a tip for all these types of defendants - just because something is possible, doesn't mean a judge or a jury will believe it. This defendant wants JJ to believe the extraordinary, with nothing to even try and back it up. Seeing these people appear...one has to really wonder what has been going on in their heads leading up to them appearing in front of JJ. Like, im 100% sure that Defendant thought she was going to win.

When I was about 17, a friend of mine who had her own apartment lost her job and couldnt make rent. She was almost in tears asking me if I could possibly loan her the money, which she would pay back as soon as she got a job. I lived at home and had a part-time job, so I had enough to give her the 300 she needed. It was a substantial sum for me but she was a good friend and it never occurred to me that she wouldn't pay. Some time went on 2 months or so, she more or less ghosted me and I gradually began to wonder why she'd given me nothing. I finally asked her when she thought she'd have the money. I'll never forget her response. She just looked at me surprised and said she didn't remember me ever giving her any money. Then she said something like if you're sure you gave me money I'll pay you but I don't have it now.
I was so pissed, not so much that she hadn't paid me but that she had the nerve to lie to my face. I thought she was my close friend. But not worth 300 to her. I told her if she didn't remember me giving her $ why on earth would she offer to pay Me. End of friendship. I was so naive but that was a good lesson.

Things I wish my parents taught me:
      1. If they did not say “No”., but gave a long rambling response, then the answer is “YES! Also, vice versa.
      2. The biggest liars tell you they are truthful people or they tell you they are Christians. People who tell the truth, assume every else does, and won’t tell you how truthful they are.
      3. The faster they talk, the more they are lying. They are trying to deflect your attention away from the matter at hand.
      4. Liars will change the subject frequently.
      5. When it does not jibe with reality as you know it, it is not you. It is them. Believe yourself over what people say.
Most important! When people show you who they are, believe them! It is OK to ghost folks who bite the hand that feeds them.

what a shame. similar story with me. I loaned a friend of 10+ years $3,000. after he got his taxes he was splurging. I politely asked him about giving me a portion. Not ready for his response he looked me dead in my face and said, I "AIN'T BEGGED YOU TO HELP ME". After that moment I realized that the friendship was over. Hell I waited like 6 months to see if he would actually give something. Just goes to show who your friends are vs the people who take advantage of your kindness.

Dude this new show is Judge Judy 2.0. You can tell she knows shes getting older, and really trying to impart some real life lessons from her experiences from dealing with peoples problems and behavior day after day after day. And now shes got two helpers that just go dig up evidence right there? Omg chefs kiss, this shit is just gold.
Now if only they would do this treatment to Hoarders… Cory Chalmers and Matt Paxton together on every hoard. Tag team ‘em, they just rotate each other out if the hoarder starts slowing down production, y’know if they want to keep their 25 year old food or whatever. No. Chalmanate them.
Two trucks? No. Twenty-five on constant rotation to the dump, so they cant dig anything back out. 15 people? No; sixty. Second story? It’s all getting thrown down chutes set up at every window into a truck. 3 day partial hoard cleanup? No. The frame of the house is down to the studs in 12 hours.

The young lady, who showed JJ how to read the phone, is her granddaughter, Sarah Rose Levy. She was awarded her JD degree from NY Law School, back in July 2022. Judge Judy attended the same school and awarded her degree in 1965. I guess she is there to get in-person experience from her grandmother. The other lady is the law clerk. She transcribes all of the conversations.
