Thank you so much GeoMac! Here's hoping! Those glaciers sure could use some more cold. Me.... not so much haha as long as Frankie keeps handling my frozen toes haha xo Alex
@@FnAVanLife I'm with your Alex, too much cold is painful. Frankie is great keeping your toes from falling off. Although paco might be hoping for a snack...yikes! Yeah, don't let the fear mongers get you down. The climate's been changing since the earth was a ball of molten magma. The world will not crumble under the weight of greedy humans who love to travel and stay warm. We're in a warming part of the cycle at the moment and it'll change to cooling. It's a minor effect, they just want to get us scared so we'll put them in power to save us. But we need to fight the foolishness to maintain our freedom and independence. They would happily stop you from adventuring and exploring if they got their way, so be wise to their ways. Check past alarmists, the earth was supposed to be uninhabitable several times already and yet here we are. Of course we need to be good stewards of our environment -- keep our air, water, and land from abuse with our trash and toxins, leave places better than we find them, and keep it nice for our kids and grandkids to follow. But the envious ones want to make us out to be the destroyers, meanwhile we can't touch the mess the wildfires are making of our atmosphere and water. The alarmists are like internet trolls, but in real life. We hear about glaciers getting smaller in some areas but they never bring up that some others are getting bigger. Watch out when people with an agenda tell only part of a story while keeping the rest under wraps. God bless you! Onward and upward!
omg that's too funny! We loved that laundromat haha Hope you had a blast with your group camp and excited for you to dip your toe into van life! We're here if you ever have any questions xo Alex
I would suggest the drive from Anchorage to McCarthy Alaska. To visit the old famous Kennecott copper mine and glacier . A beautiful drive so much wildlife, free camping.
Some of the side by sides are crazy from then to now on the glaciers are wild. Its sad to see how much they've receided in such a short time. Apparently 2019 was super hot and just excellent everything even more. Glad we're here when we are!
Always stoked when your videos drop! My wife and I are in the process of getting a van for full-time Van Life as we speak. Can't wait to make it up to Alaska next year!
Ben that is so awesome!!! We are stoked for you and your wife to get on the road. We'll have a whole guide to Alaska for you when you do get up here 🙌 Lots of love!!! Xo Alex
Don't know what to say about the scenery other than OMG! 💕 Truly magical. Thanks for taking us along. 💖 When I read the video overlay I thought it said 'I said YES' and I kept waiting for a proposal. 🤣 -Aimee
Ha ha - your lunch towards the end 😂 We hope to get to Alaska within a few years (want to upgrade our vehicles prior). Hoping it doesn’t loose too much in the beauty department by then.
That lunch was delish!!!! haha Definitely a good idea to upgrade before coming since it can get pretty wild here. Most of the main road are really good but if you want to go deep, you'll need something beefy! We're putting a guide together with all our boondocking locations from this summer so keep an eye out! xo Alex
Awesome Alaska video series! Headed there in September for 3 weeks. Your touring has helped us with our planning (Thanks for the hand-tram update). Wife wants to know where you picked up your cool sunglasses??!!
Haha I am flattered!!! The cat eye glasses were from Target in store. Thank you Ginger for noticing!!!! Let me do some recon and see if I can find them online. Xo
Frankie: That glacier was so cool! Watching the ice just fall into the water making waves mann! Me: Well Frankie, that's really not cool. It's global warming. Not good. 🤪
Its sad that someone died but that's a stupid reason to keep the hand tram closed. I've lapped it many times. Follow the rules and you'll be just fine.

Hey Wronda, I wonder if bears have a taste for dog? 🐕 🍽 🐻 I'm sure they wouldn't love his bark. Hopefully we never have to find out!!! Xo Alex
Beautiful views everywhere you turn and look.

@@FnAVanLife Those ARE awesome shades, but she's really digging your "cat eyes" and "browlines/wayfarers pairs.
And thanks for the reply!
And she's Ginger. If you decide to, ya know, give her a shout out for noticing your awesome style. :)

Yeah regardless it would naturally happen in the summer. It is just happening way to fast due to global warming. Which is definitely shitty.
Hi! Where is the highway pull off located?
All the places are in our guide to Alaska book. You can find it on Amazon.
Its sad that someone died but that's a stupid reason to keep the hand tram closed. I've lapped it many times. Follow the rules and you'll be just fine.
Safety first I guess! We heard they intended to do some fixes but with covud everything got pushed off. Hopefully people can use it soon!
