I knew you'd like Talkeetna! July 7,1977 (7/7/77!) I drove into Talkeetna and had to stop.in front of Nagley's grocery store because there was the then grocery store cat,Gemini, was sleeping in the middle of the street. This is when.I knew it was my kind of town and have been living here ever since.
Hope caught a fish by now. Fly fishing isn’t as easy as it looks. I have been fly fishing for about 30 years and still learning. Stick with it it’s rewarding. Great content really enjoying your videos. You guys always look to be having fun.
I have! Nothing crazy…mostly a bunch of little guys, but it’s a ton of fun learning and getting out there! I fish as much as I have time for Thank you and thanks for watching!
Thank you A & K for putting together such an awesome adventure travel video series! You are inspiring my wife and I (who are recently retired) to follow in your footsteps. Even more importantly , the two of you radiate an exuberant love of life which carries over to us viewers. Watching these videos has literally made me a happier person.
That makes us really happy to hear and truly makes our day. If we can have any kind of positive impact on someone out there that is all we can ask for. Thank you so much for your kind comment and thanks to you both for watching! We are lucky and thankful we can share our experiences for others to enjoy
Ok the food this episode 👌 I would be able to eat that spinach bread every day too, and as a Canadian, I need to try birch syrup! The town is so picturesque and exactly what I picture when I think of a traditional Alaskan village.
Seeing Katherine in the driver's seat threw me for a loop. With every video of yours, I come away hungry. Talkeetna seemed to be a quaint little town that's quite interesting.

Hire a guide for one day. Invaluable! Also good advice to use nymphs and cast upstream at a 45 degree angle and let it drift naturally keeping the slack out of your line. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Talkeetna was our favorite stop in our most recent trip to AK, loved it so much that we spent 4 days in the area, starting each day at the Roadhouse for breakfast, conversation and planning our day.
I really recommend you take the flight up to Denali next time you go. The weather doesn’t always allow a landing up on the glacier, but if you can do it, It’s an experience you will never forget.
Such fun! I love seeing the shots of the streets and the buildings and know that I'll see them in person someday. Your enthusiasm is so contagious. Ya'll make me happy. Keep enjoying the journey!
Have travelled from Australia to Alaska twice in 2005 and 2014 and visited Talkeetna on both occasions. Like you, I loved this place and all it's history and quaint village lifestyle. Thanks for sharing and awakening fabulous memories for me.
I love this video. The town is the way I picture small town Alaska. I am a cat person, so I love that a cat is the mayor. LOL The sister cat is beautiful. I hate the mayor was too busy to visit with yall. I am really enjoying your videos of Alaska. If I ever get to Alaska, I would love to see it the way you are. Yall are really seeing the true Alaska.
My wife and I went on a tour of Alaska in 2003 and stopped in Talkeetna. We thought it was really a neat town and wanted to go back when we could go on our own. We did go back in 2018 and found that Talkeetna had grown and was a bit different than we had remembered it. Still neat but not the same as we had remembered. We did find a new favorite place though. A very small ( I mean small) place just inside Alaska from the Yukon. It is called Chicken. Summertime population is 30 people and winter pop. is 5. Really neat place. We panned for gold in chicken creek. We only found a few flakes but still very exciting. A trip well worth taking. Our round trip from Michigan to Alaska and back was eight weeks on the road and 11,465 miles. Whew!!!

Great work thank you!!!! Keep trying on the fly fishing it will happen when you least expect it have FUN !!! Thank you for all your hard work 👍 Thank you!!!
Guys, I'm really enjoying your vlogs from Alaska. Thanks for doing them. I'm 64 years old and live in Fort Worth. Alaska is my last state of the 50. I need to get there soon. My wife and I are not cruise people, but the only cruise we've talked about is possibly to Alaska. We also will not be driving that far, so it's cruise or fly. You're showing us so far that I think flying in and doing the interior might be what we would enjoy the most. Best Wishes and Hi to Kona.
That's awesome! Alaska has been amazing and I'm sure y'all will love it! A cruise would provide breathtaking scenery, I'm sure. The interior of Alaska is awesome in its own right, but wait until you see our videos from the Kenai Peninsula...we are very excited to showcase that area. Thanks for watching!
Great job on the video. We were in Talkeetna in October 2022 as part of a two week trip for our Anniversary. We flew into Anchorage from Florida with our two dogs and rented a Class C for our first nine nights and we stayed over a night. Even though some of the locations were closed after the season, we really loved the town. t is great to see familiar locations in your videos. We did spend a night in Riley Creek in a free campsite. They have eight free campsites out of season. We are planning a trip from Florida to Alaska in 2024 in out class A RV. We plan to bring our towed and our electric bikes. We are binge watching your videos and they have been very helpful for our planning. As it it turns out our journey kinds of mirrors you. In fall of 2023 we will spend three plus weeks exploring Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The following year to Alaska. We want to be able to explore with our cameras. Can you share information about your backpack? The attachment for the camera on the front is interesting. Is the backpack waterproof/resistant?
And we found Ben's 100% deet a necessity out in the woods. Sportsman's Whse or Cabelas. Also be sure to shop at New Sagaya grocery in Anchorage on West 13th Ave .
Thankfully the mosquitos haven’t been nearly as bad as they were hyped up to be. We hear they’re worse in the north like Fairbanks area. Sometimes we use spray, but many times we don’t. Thanks for the tips!
I loved Talkeetna as well and also part of the 30% club. For us it came out around 11pm and I couldn't stop looking at it all night. So many great memories came back watching your video.
You find the cutest coffee shops! I'm so glad Adam got use his fly fishing gear! That was just a warm up. I think better fishing is coming your way🐳! How clever to have a cat as mayor! Aurora his sister was just beautiful! Birch syrup now that is interesting! Learning something new always with you two!!! Thank you both for the great views, information and your fun sense of humor!!! You two do exceptional videos!
I wanna say thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us! My Mom and I started watching you both after I suggested we "travel" to the 63 National Parks in the US after watching the Kentucky Derby. I purchased National Parks picture book, and started there in Kentucky. While looking for videos, we stumbled on the both of you! So, we mapped out our adventure preferably looking for your uploads of the destinations. Loved all of them and the way you enthusiastically delivered on the experience! In fact, every time we viewed one of your videos my 84 year old Mom would say, "That's our couple! That's our couple!" Thank you again for making these available especially for ones with limited mobility and circumstances! Btw, we just completed all 63 visits...but now we can go back and view the State Parks and foodies that you have posted! So much fun!
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing that, Roxanne! We feel honored that we could be a part of that journey with you both. We are very thankful and lucky we get to do what we do and we don't take that for granted. We are also thankful that we can share our experiences for others to enjoy. We haven't visited all the National Parks, but we did just visit our 47th the other day (although we don't have a UA-cam video for all of the parks we've been to). Thank you so much again for sharing that! It makes us feel really good to hear that we could provide joy! Thank you for watching!
Y'all have the best videos, my wife and I really enjoy following along on your adventures. Just a quick tip for your fishing adventure... fish a nymph and fish it on the bottom. Don't be afraid to try something bright and flashy and if you aren't getting any hits, try adding some weight just above your fly to get it deeper in the water column. Can't wait to see you finally hook one!
I love going to Talkeetna with you. We did not go to the Birch Place. I was blown away by how fast the water and cold the river was. We did the many of the things you did. I would recommend you Talkeetna zip line. We walked suspension bridges from one zip line to the next and even did a bit of rappelling. It was so cool going through the canopy of the forest and seeing Denali from the zip line. I absolutely love your videos and the joy you have exploring and with each other. We also went in June the year before COVID.
Zip lining sounds fun especially with those views! We’re glad we can share videos! We’re thankful and lucky we get to do what we do! Thanks for watching
@@AdventuresofAplusK Yes that would have been great but it's not to late your trip really did remind me of how the real Northern exposure would have really been. You guy's have great content and I love this channel. Keep up the good work😉👍🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌎
Great vid, we can tell y’all work very hard to put out great content. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself if you don’t catch a fish, just enjoy the moment. That’s why it’s called fishing and not catching, much respect to the both of y’all
I was just having fun enjoying the river and the beautiful scenery! It's about the experience like you said. Thank you very much for your comment, Wade!
Awesome video guys! I caught it so late but I definitely want to make it to Talkeetna one day. The plane rides are high on my to do list! Thanks for showing us around!
Loved this video…Talkeetna (exactly like I imaged an Alaskan town)…the spinach bread, the process of making birch syrup, the ice cream and the search for the mayor! Such a fun video! Can’t wait for the next one! Keep traveling safe❣️
you guys did so good pronouncing all the names of places, that's awesome! a lot of tourists make disrespectful comments, but many places here retain their Indigenous names 🙂 also, despite living in AK, i had no idea that Talkeetna was a tourist destination! the more you know 😁
There’s silvers in anchorage ship creek bird creek just outside anchorage on Seward highway reds in Kenai still silvers will be in at end of august I. Seward for snagging and also in Valdez.
Hello guys. I wish I can be in that river right now especially at this triple digit here in Arizona. And that garlic bread looks so yummy. And also never heard or seen birch syrup. Thank you for taking us for the tour. So informative. Stay safe ✌
We were in Talkeetna the 3rd week of May 2022 in the middle of the week. Unfortunately there was very little that was open at that time, only maybe 20% of the businesses were open, so we were very disappointed. We had seen so many great videos of the town. Nagleys store looked so interesting on the videos but was very small and dull but we did get to meet the Mayor. We also got to see Mt. Denali in it's entirety and got great pictures of it. The shop keepers were very nice but I wish we had be able to go a little later in season when everything was open. Thanks for the great video.
My son and I stayed the weekend in Talkeetna in August, beautiful place. We went salmon fishing with a local huide and also took the Denali flying tour and even landed on a glacier. we are from the gulf coast in Texas, so the cool weather was a welcome change. Would love to go back!
Woot woot! Time for fun and food in charming little Talkeetna...I enjoyed this one so much! The spinach bread looked so delicious! I hope Adam gets to catch some fish yet in Alaska...I'm sure it'll happen. I really liked the drone footage in this one...good stuff! I'd like to try the birch syrup! I can't wait till the next one!!!
Love from Ontario, Canada! As usual, watched your video on our Tv when it came out. We loved this video that was more of cultural and culinary experience. Loved the tour of the birch syrup factory. Growing up with using maple syrup, never knew there was such a thing as birch syrup.
Birch syrup felt like a fun twist on the classic maple syrup. We love sharing our experiences from both big and little towns. This one was a lot of fun to make! Thanks for watching!
Adam: keep up the good work and patience with fly fishing. Tips: cast up stream and let the fly float past you. Also keep a stiffer wrist when casting. Good luck, love watching you both.
Another great video and great series. I keep seeing all the I ❤AK signs and it has to be tempting to put a plus sign between the AK. I did miss the dancing at the end of the video this time though.
The joy of fishing is just being out there in beautiful Nature without a care in the world. Catching a fish is exciting, but not necessary to enjoy the experience. Plus I'm 100% sure you'll catch one very soon! Loved the overhead drone fishing shot....
I totally agree! It's just fun to be out there enjoying the sights and sounds and learning new stuff. Stay tuned for some funny fish catching content! That was still the old drone, but ya we really liked that shot as well! The new drone will make its debut in an episode or two!
So great meeting you guys! Hopefully you’re still enjoying your Alaskan adventures! I’ve been waiting for this video to see your experience of Talkeetna, still suggest going on a flight over Denali and I can send you pictures of the mayor if you’d like!
Hey Samantha! It was great meeting you too! We are having a blast here in Alaska! It's a dream come true to be here! We'd love to see your pictures of the mayor! Send em our way! Thanks for watching!
We’ve got some funny fish catching content coming soon! Also, we recently updated our drone so the drone shots will only get better! The new drone will make its debut in 2 or 3 videos!
Northern Exposure! I forgot about that show - I will have to find it and watch it. What a great area. Finding the Mayor - you have to leave something for next time!
Loved Talkneetna!! We were there on June 3. Spinach bread is legit. Loved visiting with the family that owns the Mexican Moose Arts, Crafts & Gifts tents...
Thanks for the video. Would go up there every summer to my uncle’s cabin so it was always just a launch point to head up river. Going back this month to actually visit the town a bit as part of the trip.
Me and my gf love y'alls videos! We're also from Texas and want to eventually live in Washington for a bit. Idk if we'd be able to live a full on van life, but you two inspire us so much and we want to travel like y'all and see the stuff you see! Your videos are fun and a great resource. Keep on being awesome. I'm working through your old vids right now, so I can't watch this one yet lol
Thank you so much! We loved living in Washington and miss it a lot! We hope y'all can make the move up there. It's an amazing place Go easy on us with the early videos 😂 Thanks for your very kind comment and thanks for watching!
I remember seeing birch products when I was up there and someone had birch beer soda like root beer and it was so good. I take it you are going to Anchorage and then taking a ferry out to Seattle.
I guess I've never been to Talkeetna on a weekday because I've never seen it so dead in that town. Usually it's bustling on the weekends. I'm happy that you guys shared some actual history and spelled the Dena'ina name of the town. Nice touch. I find it sad that Alaska has the highest per capita Native American population in the US, and people don't talk about that part of visiting the state. As someone originally from the Lower 48, it's definitely nice to experience and share the rich Alaska Native culture.
We try to get to places as early as possible. The crowds didn’t start rolling in until about 9-10. We are very interested in Native culture and history and love to share it when we can. You’re right, it’s definitely not talked about, recognized, or appreciated enough here or in the lower 48. Thanks and thanks for watching!
You won't get a view of Denali from mile 43. You might get a glimpse on the bus ride out there on a clear day, but the best view is from the Savage Alpine Trail in our opinion. It is worth going out to mile 43 though. The other mountains and views are spectacular. adventuresofaplusk.com/savage-alpine-trail-savage-river-loop-trail-in-denali-national-park/
Great video as always. Now we have to try Birch syrup. Adam only fly fishing advice is in June you want to match the hatch, see what bugs are around. In a faster moving creek you want to use a dropper rig. In June, yellow sally if they are coming up to the surface. Watch for slow pools where they hang out. Float a foam fly and tie a zebra midge or other midge. Best of luck.
Its been fun to see the excitement you two provide in the video for all that you've seen, done or sampled! Its a very fresh take on our little corner of paradise! I see this was the end of June so you got the full on Summer Solstice with the long daylight hours! All those daylight hours are pretty beneficial on the solar on my rig! Hopefully you all enjoyed your pass through Anchorage, my point of origin. I guess we'll see on the next video! Keep up the fun videos and safe travels!
Our van was loving the solar as well! We had a blast in Talkeetna and can't wait to come back one day! Anchorage has been really nice as well! Thanks for watching!
@@AdventuresofAplusK , RV with Tito has been here this summer too and since i had seen his videos on what he did for his solar, I wanted to compare notes on how his solar was working up here because we have the lower sun angles and I built my system on the idea of what most do down in the lower 48, his biggest take away on how his system was working this far north was that his panels were producing up to 20 hours a day which he had never seen before. Something I took for granted. BTW, great video today at the Matanuska Glacier. And thanks for not making me one of the only ones who noticed the lunar landscape. If they were to fake a moon landing, they could do it there! ;-)
Oh that spinach bread that was both airy and pillowy, yum. You two make everything so fun and worth trying. Thanks for sharing. What about birch beer, a carbonated beverage?
Fishing tip: I’ve heard it’s best to look for exposed rocks in the river/creek, as fish like to hang out behind them. They like to stay in the current so that the current brings their food to them, but they don’t like being exposed and having to expend all their energy to stay in the current. So make sure the flow is good, but not too fast, and typically behind large rocks or boulders. Hope that helps!
“It’s rare that we ever get a chance to just sit and do nothing” = cue epic sequence featuring drone shots, slow mo and cinematic pans of Adam fishing. 😂 Great little montage! I can relate to the feeling of relaxing WITH a camera always in hand. ;)
Alittle tip I’ve picked up in fly fishing rivers is to look for faster moving rapids. “Not to fast” but swift current where it comes to a slow moving pool. The fish like to hang out in the pool waiting for bait to come past them from the faster moving current. Maybe give some movement to your fly as it moves through the slower moving sections. I’ve never fished Alaska but that works well for trout on the east coast. Also it worked when I was in MT 2 years ago. Sometime you have to throw at the same hole many times before it goes in just the right spot for the fish to see. Good luck and I hope you get something!!! Also a side note. It might be the color of the fly. Check as see what the target fish eat and try and match the colors on your fly.
Love your channel and especially your travels in Alaska! This Epson is so informative. I didn’t realize you could make syrup out of birch sap. Thank you for your hard work filming, narration and production. You do an amazing job!
I just enjoy your segments of the food and the description and taste of the food 😋you make me hungry 😉just loving all your videos glad I subscribed keep them coming! Stay safe out there and lots of love 🥰to Kona!

Stubs was a cool 😎 cat. We absolutely loved him. We have many pictures of Mr. Stubs. Ya'll have an amazing time and stay safe.
I bet he was! Thanks and thanks for watching!
And we found Ben's 100% deet a necessity out in the woods. Sportsman's Whse or Cabelas. Also be sure to shop at New
Sagaya grocery in Anchorage on West 13th Ave .
Thankfully the mosquitos haven’t been nearly as bad as they were hyped up to be. We hear they’re worse in the north like Fairbanks area. Sometimes we use spray, but many times we don’t. Thanks for the tips!
Another amazing video!! The river was gorgeous and the garlic spinach bread looks so good and the birch ice cream looks so good.
The food was super tasty! Thanks for watching!
I loved Talkeetna as well and also part of the 30% club. For us it came out around 11pm and I couldn't stop looking at it all night. So many great memories came back watching your video.
Awesome! We’re glad we can share!
We've got some funny fish catching content coming soon! We are so thankful we can share our experiences and what we learn with others! Thanks, Karen!
Cat Mayor was busy in townhalls. Living vicariously. Thanks taking us along for the ride!
He must've been! Thanks, Jackie!
Catching up on your vlogs - can’t believe you made it to Alaska already, I remember when you were just planning this out! So happy for you both 😁
Time flies when you’re having fun! Thanks!
Thanks for the tips, Bryan! I’ll try those out. We have some funny fish catching content coming in a couple videos!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Hmmmm.... Our travel plans keep evolving, thanks to you. Loved this episode. Until next time... Travel safe.
Sorry bout that! 😂 it happens to us too! A place gets added to our list just about everyday!
The town and the making of syrup were so interesting! And then you added the ice cream! yummy!
It was a really fun and yummy experience!
Great video ☺️👍 Northern exposure is my all time favorite show...
Nice! We should've watched a few episodes before we went to Talkeetna!
We'd love to see the mountains from the air one day also! Thanks for watching!
Loved this video…Talkeetna (exactly like I imaged an Alaskan town)…the spinach bread, the process of making birch syrup, the ice cream and the search for the mayor! Such a fun video! Can’t wait for the next one! Keep traveling safe❣️
We had a blast in that tiny little Alaskan town!
you guys did so good pronouncing all the names of places, that's awesome! a lot of tourists make disrespectful comments, but many places here retain their Indigenous names 🙂 also, despite living in AK, i had no idea that Talkeetna was a tourist destination! the more you know 😁
Thank yo! We put in a lot of effort to try to say things correctly!
Love your channel! Keep up the great content
Thank you! ❤
It's now the inspiration for Deadhart an Alaskan town in C J Tudor's latest novel
There’s silvers in anchorage ship creek bird creek just outside anchorage on Seward highway reds in Kenai still silvers will be in at end of august I. Seward for snagging and also in Valdez.
Thanks for the tips
Hello guys. I wish I can be in that river right now especially at this triple digit here in Arizona. And that garlic bread looks so yummy. And also never heard or seen birch syrup. Thank you for taking us for the tour. So informative. Stay safe ✌
The water and air were the perfect temps! So comfortable! Thanks for watching!
Yes Alaska is very dependent on the weather! Hopefully you can visit again! Thanks and thanks for watching!
My son and I stayed the weekend in Talkeetna in August, beautiful place. We went salmon fishing with a local huide and also took the Denali flying tour and even landed on a glacier. we are from the gulf coast in Texas, so the cool weather was a welcome change. Would love to go back!
Sounds like an awesome trip! That’s a nice break from the heat!
Wahoo! The spinach bread was out of this world! Stay tuned for some funny fish catching content! Also stay tuned for a new drone in a couple episodes!
Also keep a stiffer
wrist when casting. Good luck, love watching you both.
Thanks, Claudia! I'll keep those tips in mind
Thanks for watching!
When you go back to Alaska (and you will - we have been four times), go in either September or May - great weather and no mosquitos!!!!
We’ll definitely be going back! We were there June to August and got lucky with the mosquitos! They weren’t too bad!
Good call on not doing the plane ride.
Talkeetna looks like a pretty sweet place to visit. The locals know where fish are biting.
It was! I read a few reports about where to go that would also be a good spot to camp and this one checked out, but it was probably the angler!
Another great video and great series. I keep seeing all the I ❤AK signs and it has to be tempting to put a plus sign between the AK. I did miss the dancing at the end of the video this time though.
Yes it is tempting! We have to keep the viewers guessing with the dancing!
Fairview Inn, dim view out. Still have not forgotten that after 30 years. Quite the place.
We had a great time in Talkeetna!
Thanks for another fun and informative video! We’re looking forward to your ice adventure!
We hope you like it! Thanks, Courtney!
Alaska is just beautiful. I'm glad you're having such a great time.
We're having a blast!
Another great episode! Thanks
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Always love the bloops! Adam sorry about the fish but you got some amazing drone shot! Never ever heard of Birch syrup! Excellent video guys~Cara 😊
We’ve got some funny fish catching content coming soon! Also, we recently updated our drone so the drone shots will only get better! The new drone will make its debut in 2 or 3 videos!
I feel like it's a missed opportunity if they didn't at least name one of those icecream flavors, "birch, please!"..😂
Hahahah our autocorrect did try to change birch to….ya know! 😂 that is a missed opportunity for sure!
Underrated comment
Loved the video and seeing a small town up close and personal. Wow, Kathryn is driving. Looking forward to the next video.
Talkeetna was so charming and fun! Kathryn got behind the wheel this time! Thanks, Judith!
Northern Exposure! I forgot about that show - I will have to find it and watch it. What a great area. Finding the Mayor - you have to leave something for next time!
We haven't watched it, but we need to check it out!
That's right...we need to return for the mayor and more spinach bread!
Loved Talkneetna!! We were there on June 3. Spinach bread is legit. Loved visiting with the family that owns the Mexican Moose Arts, Crafts & Gifts tents...
Talkeetna was so fun! Cute little town!
Thanks for the video. Would go up there every summer to my uncle’s cabin so it was always just a launch point to head up river.
Going back this month to actually visit the town a bit as part of the trip.
We loved it there! It's a great little town! We hope you have a great trip. Thanks for watching!
Another entertaining episode. The Birch Syrup segment was fascinating.
It's an amazing place
Go easy on us with the early videos 😂
Thanks for your very kind comment and thanks for watching!
Very cool. Looks like a great day
This is a really cool fun town!! This is so unique!! So Alaskan!! Even a cat as a mayor!! Thanks for the tour!!!
Ya that was a blast to experience!
I remember seeing birch products when I was up there and someone had birch beer soda like root beer and it was so good. I take it you are going to Anchorage and then taking a ferry out to Seattle.
That sounds delicious! No, we will be driving back to the lower 48. The ferry is a lot of money and not very dog friendly
I'm wondering if going to Denali up to 43 makes any sense seeing the view of Denali in this video
You won't get a view of Denali from mile 43. You might get a glimpse on the bus ride out there on a clear day, but the best view is from the Savage Alpine Trail in our opinion. It is worth going out to mile 43 though. The other mountains and views are spectacular.

Amazing beautiful episode filming, thanks for sharing video. Greetings from beautiful Hawaii islands 🏝
Aloha! We miss Hawaii! 😭 can't wait to go back
Thank you so much for watching!
So happy you got some spinach bread!!! My absolute favorite at our State Fair…will have to try the drink you got, have always got their limeade.
Both were mighty tasty!
Holy -- that spinach bread looked so good
We're still dreaming of it!
Thanks for the tips, Mark!
If they were to fake a moon landing, they could do it there! ;-)
Liked the intro music. What a cool community. I think I could live there! Maybe next time on that fishing. 👍
It was a very neat community. We could've spent a lot more time there. Thanks, David!
Awsome lil town especially the lil brewery
Oh that spinach bread that was both airy and pillowy, yum. You two make everything so fun and worth trying. Thanks for sharing. What about birch beer, a carbonated beverage?
The bread was outrageous! We could've eaten a ton more of those each! Addicting!
We didn't see birch beer there, but I'm sure someone nearby makes it!
Thanks for the tips, Joseph! I'll keep those in mind for future trips!
“It’s rare that we ever get a chance to just sit and do nothing” = cue epic sequence featuring drone shots, slow mo and cinematic pans of Adam fishing. 😂 Great little montage! I can relate to the feeling of relaxing WITH a camera always in hand. ;)
hahaha ya a camera is always nearby! "Relaxing" is all relative!
Thanks for the tips, Matt!
Thanks for sharing the secret to your glow! Awesome video.
hahaha bug spray has multiple uses! Thanks!
Going there end of August (2022). Can't wait.
you talked about the seasonal work. i was one of those. i worked for the talkeetna alaskan lodge. employee housing was on site and everything.
Very cool! That sounds nice!
I love that the townn has a cat for a mayor. 😻
We thought that was so cool too!
When I trout fished, I only really had luck with a brown wooly with a spinner. Worth a try. 😊👍🏻
I'll look for some of those! Thanks!
Cool video , Never even heard of Birch syrup but it sure looked good on that Ice Cream 👍
It was mighty tasty!
You’ve got to get back to hiking. Hanging around in Talkeetna will make you big as houses!
That's true! Big adventures coming soon!
Love your channel and especially your travels in Alaska! This Epson is so informative. I didn’t realize you could make syrup out of birch sap. Thank you for your hard work filming, narration and production. You do an amazing job!
The syrup tour was very informative and fun! Thanks a lot, Alan!
Loving the Alaska series, can't wait to get there myself.
It’s amazing out here!
I just enjoy your segments of the food and the description and taste of the food 😋you make me hungry 😉just loving all your videos glad I subscribed keep them coming! Stay safe out there and lots of love 🥰to Kona!
Ya gotta bring a snack to watch our videos! 😂 We're glad you watch as well. Thank you!
Great video! Love watching your adventures 😊
I enjoyed your tour of Talkeetna. We are down the same "alley" - - ice cream and coffee! I'll know where to go if we get to Talkeetna.
Talkeetna is awesome! You'll love it if you ever go!
