How brilliant it was of Michael Buble and his musicians to honor the original harmonics of Kern's exquisite melody and do a simple, straight forward arrangement of the song. Buble's vocal is impeccable - sensitive, intimate yet exciting, full of variety, and absolutely honest. The saxophonist does lovely fills.

This is the best rendition ever!
The arrangement is such a piece of charming, sensitive, and refreshing. Slow but not dull. The diction is special, the way Michael postpones the syllable, such as "L----ook" - as if he is kissing the women, or sometimes slightly off the beat, all quite great for this lovely song. The casual and studio-recording set up (guys dressing T-shirt and jeans) make it a very friendly and intimate one to me (as a musician/composer). I like the harmony and the singing voice the most. Well mix.

rendition far above " a good playing " . ... but not really underlined through the various
comments . I guess it lacks of guitar players among the listeners and there are more sax
players . .Now if you analyse those respective instrumental renditions and compare the
level of mastery they require you can immediately have the following result : the sax part
is playable and accessible to many ( rather easy ) but the guitar part a contrario is out of
reach for more than 99% of guitar players .

Em seus trabalhos, junto a composições de música pop (o que não dá pra evitar), sempre faz releituras preciosas de clássicos da música de Tio Sam. Seu timbre, que lembra muito o do fabuloso Mel Tormé, é totalmente adequado a isso.

This is Michael Bublé at his best. His more popular songs are very beautiful but that is because he has a fundamentally superb voice. He is one of the greatest male vocalists ever, he has elements of Mel Tormé in his phrasing, and also similar to Frank Sinatra, but I think he is better than Sinatra. He is a real jazz singer, as you can hear in the ornamentation he adds to songs like 'Baby It's Cold Outside' and 'Something Stupid' and so on.
aw he definitely is a better singer than Sinatra. doesn't have the ol' classic oak timbre we all love, but he is an all rounder. Better technique for sure
