Michael is a guy who really understands his good fortune and is genuinely grateful for being able to realize his dream. Years ago, Oprah interviewed him with his Mom in the audience and they talked about how Michael used to sleep with a Bible and he would frequently pray to become a singer. And, of course, his Grandfather deserves a lot of credit, for introducing the Great American Songbook to Michael, encouraging him, taking him to gigs, and always being supportive. The Bublé family seem like great people.
Check out Hawaiian singer Jack Johnson, also a very humble and passionate dude who doesnt take his fame for granted, together him with Buble are my favorite 🎉
@@myidentityisamystery5142 nah, he is pretty underrated outside his Christmas stuff. He needs to release a new album so that people in this generation could listen to him again, but I know he was going through serious personal matters with his son. so who knows if he's been keeping up with writing original music. The only reason why Ive kept up with him over the years is because Michael has really become a new-age star in cabaret singing, but he still lacks in original content for this day and age.
I am sobbing too. Our son has battled cancer for a year and we just got called back to see the Dr, since his last CT...they said they saw something. My heart is aching. I totally identified with Michael when he said that it is too hard to talk about, and when he said he was strong through the surgery and then treatment,..but fell apart as soon as he was doing well. That was SO me!!! And now to think we might be battling it again, or to think there is nothing left to do, is just taking my breath away. Thank you for this uplifting sing song, what beautiful harmony...and thank you Michael for being vulnerable and sharing your story even thought I know it was BRUTAL to share. God's richest blessing on your family.
Me too dearie 😊 I thought it was just me. It makes me happy when people mention him. It seems he's overlooked sometimes because of whoever's in the car with him
10haybaybay1 James won a Tony a few years ago for his leading role in Broadway’s ‘One Man, Two Govnors’-a hilarious British farce/musical. Hubby and I were lucky to see the show-before James was a ‘household name’! Even had my pic taken with him and an autograph on the Playbill. Nice guy...great talent.
He harmonized really great with Adele. He sounded so good she couldn't believe her ears. I love when he harmonizes with anybody. He makes their songs even better.
I am not so young but I just wonder how was it possible for me not to discover such a wonderful voice and person ?! His songs and his attitude are so beautiful.
My dumbass saw this list (great list and thanks a lot btw) early in the video, was making a playlist using these songs, spent 6 minutes looking for "The Saxophone by Michael Bublé", and then got to the part with the saxophone... 🙃
God when Michael was talking to the camera about how medicines will eventually be discovered was like he talked to my soul. Im in tears. Im definitely calling. My grandma died of ovarian cancer this year. Let's all destroy cancer once and for all.
Oh man, when he started talking about his son the tears just came. When you're told your child might not survive something, that NEVER leaves you. You go on and happy moments return, but there's a heartache in knowing how close you were to not having those moments. My baby was born at 24 weeks and we spent months in the hospital, living minute to minute at times, never knowing if she'd make it to the next day. But out of the whole experience, I feel there's a lesson in appreciation and patience that has made me a better parent.
Hopefully your child is doing better. Be strong. I’m not a mom yet so I can’t really understand your pain but rest assure I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Love❤️
I never thought I’d say this but this was the best. Carpool. Ever. Their voices gel together so perfectly, they even did harmonies and was so touching to hear him talk about his son-I’m sure he’s inspired many
Love that he seems like such a down to earth genuine person with a cheeky sense of humour!! His interviews always make me laugh - he is always one of the best guests on Graham Norton's show..(-:

I love Michael & his personality seems genuinely kind hearted. God bless him & James! Love them both! 😊👏👏👏👏👏 I dont have tv in my home at all but I do watch both of these men. When I saw them together, this really gave me joy! The both sounded great together & the Dad too! Great music! I lost my 12 yr old daughter suddenly on Christmas morning a few years back. I understand the fear & the grief! Every day I live, I long for my child… God help the families who have lost or are in fear of losing a child.

I don't listen to much Michael Bublé but he seems like the best person. His attitude is so untouched by the cynicism of fame and I can only imagine the inner strength he possesses to cope with his 3-year old son having cancer. I just want to give him the biggest hug and wish him every bit of happiness he's brought to his family, his friends, and his fans. I'm so glad his boy is alright.

Euro Vision He’s genuinely a fatherly figure I would be happy married to. Just a normal guy who doesn’t try too hard and has feelings. It’s sad that it doesn’t happen as often.
I’M A WRECK. When he said that he just “fell” and his wife picks him up now... such vulnerability. As humans we’re strong when we need to be, but when the worst is over that’s when the reality of the situation really sinks in. But we will always fight!!! This campaign is so important, if you haven’t donated yet please do!! #standuptocancer #SU2C #fuckyoucancer
How come no one is talking about how open he was near the end when talking about his family? I don’t know much about Michael so I didn’t know his son had cancer and beat it. The emotion on that man’s face was so overwhelming and yet everyone is talking about Christmas. Okay we get it, Michael Bublé and Christmas goes hand in hand, cool. Yeah we know Christmas is coming, the store I work at had Christmas decorations up on October 1st. We get it. Can we talk about how, despite him saying how hard it was to talk about, he openly talked about what he and his wife went through when they thought their baby was going to die?
Perhaps I’m getting different comments, but I’m seeing all the comments on his amazing openness AND him saying “Thank You Jesus Christ”, before I even got to that point. Read on...
It was all over the news when his son was diagnosed. Michael took a long break from everything / stopped touring and recording to be with his son while he was being treated. He's talked about it before and I believe it's been over a year and maybe closer to two since they went through all this.
I remember when his son got diagnosed it was a very big news here in Canada where Michael Buble is from. Every fan here was crying, including me. i was bawling my eyes out .:( it was so so sad! He has the cutest and kindest family

The warmest and most engaged celebrity I ever met, and I interviewed many. There were only 3 journalists for the interview at a Jakarta hotel, and we were given a briefing by his no-nonsense road manager -- at 10 minutes, your time is up and I'll let you know with a circling motion; no requests for any selfie or wefie stuff, etc. I was nervous when I went in, and opened my questions with, "So, how's it feel to be in Asia for the first time?" Michael looked at me, and said, "I've been in Asia lots of times, it's my first time in Indonesia - way to go to start an interview, keeping it loose!" I was mortified, and he immediately made me feel comfortable by offering me some of his water, asking me where I was from, etc. I asked him about discussing the other side of celebrity, the intrusions and that he had discussed depression, and he was thoughtful in his answers, talking about living in the moment. I went to ask another question, and saw the manager doing her sign, and went to wrap it up. "No, I'm fine with this, I'm enjoying it," he said. When we finished, we had an agreement to get one or two quick shots with our photographer for a cover photo; Michael opened his pants to tuck in his shirt and asked me about my background and how come I had come to Indonesia. We got the shot, and then he turned to me and said, "You want a photo with me?" Quick as a flash, the manager chimed in, I'll take it, but Michael said, "Let me do it", taking my phone and snapping the photo I finished up, went to get a drink in the coffee shop and wrote the opening to the story. As I was leaving through the lobby, I saw Michael walking with his wife; he stopped, winked at me and said, "see you later at the concert". What a performance he gave that night; his warmth and goodness and quality of being real came through. By the way, I always assumed he had dark or black hair; he actually has ginger hair!
Thank you so much for being so real and so honest about your son.. I am a Mother of a special needs son that passed when he was 15yo. I feel your pain. God bless you! Praise God for the healing of your son. Yes, children of cancer and other serious diseases are hero's!!!
This has just surpassed Adele's carpool karaoke as my favourite. I love Michael, his story, his voice, his attitude and his love for his family. And James, those harmonies were angelic.
I smiled in the beginning, I laughed with joy at his scat session and his story made me cry with the truth behind his fears. Thanks, Mr. Corden, for helping us love Mr. Buble even more.
The words "I consider you in remission", from my husband's oncologist, was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard in my life. Cancer changes your perspective, that's for sure. All you warriors out there...kick some ass as best you can.

Yes but my favorite is he one with Ariana Grande where Ariana takes a piggy ride on James back in Starbucks and orders a GRANDE while everyone is cracking up lol
He looks so humbled and tired now, like it's a whole different person than before. He used to have that boyish, cocky (not in a bad way), charming, crooner style of his which we all adored. Now he has matured beyond that stage in his life, he is now a different man that has a scar that will never heal, like so many of us has. We are all family, we are all brothers and sisters of this world, we are all one. One can make a difference

I was diagnosed with rectal cancer stage 2 five years ago at the age of 42. I can't even imagine a 3 year old. I just can't 😔
Cosmetics & Comedy Praying for your total healing and it never to return to any part of your body. God Bless You. :-)

I really hope you beat it mate. you can do it, never give up x
How are you now man you doing any better?
When Michael started talking about his son I wanted to hug him. You can see the suffering.
I’m not following can you explain me a little bit? Please
Ok julissa his son was diagnosed with cancer they thought he was not going to make it due them getting so so news again and again then the chemotherapy treatment worked and his son survived his son is 5 currently or older now i think i said it right so he went through preparing for the worst again and again and his wife and did it with conviction and like a human should
I lost it when he started talking about his son.
Brian Gosik his son need to drink pure water with more molekul in it.may i know what stage it is now.
I agree 100%
Check out Hawaiian singer Jack Johnson, also a very humble and passionate dude who doesnt take his fame for granted, together him with Buble are my favorite 🎉
Michael Bublé is such an amazing person and have so much respect for him. What a voice this man has

How can you not love Michael Buble?
He is so underrated still! People limit themselves to just his Christmas album, but legit every album he's made is incredible
I’m a huge fan. Absolutely agree.
You are right
So true
He isn’t underrated. He’s a superstar.
Your family has been going through so much. I'm sorry to hear how incredibly difficult things have been. Keeping you all in my thoughts.
James' ability to harmonize with ANYONE on these carpools completely baffles me. I love his voice so much.
He improved tho
I love how Michael bumps him at 3.35 when James does the second voice. 😆
I love how his harmonies continue to genuinely surprise and excite his guest singers!
I think James harmonized best with him then anyone so far
Coodlesthe Codex ariana grande too.
He harmonized really great with Adele. He sounded so good she couldn't believe her ears. I love when he harmonizes with anybody. He makes their songs even better.
He did really good with Sam Smith too
Ive been practising my harmonies along side buble ( in the comfort of my home) in hopes one day I get to sing with him 🤣🤣🤣
Yes!
Michael's voice always feels like christmas
that's because Christmas is the one time a year he comes out of hiding
His Christmas album is amazing❤
Gerald Hernandez indeed he dose
He’s practically Santa
Fritz Dacquigan yes😂
I am not so young but I just wonder how was it possible for me not to discover such a wonderful voice and person ?! His songs and his attitude are so beautiful.

My dumbass saw this list (great list and thanks a lot btw) early in the video, was making a playlist using these songs, spent 6 minutes looking for "The Saxophone by Michael Bublé", and then got to the part with the saxophone... 🙃
Lavi en rose :(((
Love You Anymore 💛💛💛
God when Michael was talking to the camera about how medicines will eventually be discovered was like he talked to my soul. Im in tears. Im definitely calling. My grandma died of ovarian cancer this year. Let's all destroy cancer once and for all.
Xhoose I love ur optimism but just because you want a cure doesn’t mean it’s going to happen
Xhoose we got yo back honey!
Xhoose my gran died from leukaemia earlier this year too, #standuptocancer
stickmanlab sub you seem like a lot of fun
Oh man, when he started talking about his son the tears just came. When you're told your child might not survive something, that NEVER leaves you. You go on and happy moments return, but there's a heartache in knowing how close you were to not having those moments. My baby was born at 24 weeks and we spent months in the hospital, living minute to minute at times, never knowing if she'd make it to the next day. But out of the whole experience, I feel there's a lesson in appreciation and patience that has made me a better parent.
Sending love and blessings to you and your family. ❤️
@@lessscriptmoreyou7774, thanks. 💜💜💜
Hopefully your child is doing better. Be strong. I’m not a mom yet so I can’t really understand your pain but rest assure I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Love❤️
The vulnerability that is shown is the most beautiful gift of everything
Both of you are LOVE exonerated.
THANK YOU
The pain was just etched on his face. No words were needed. Glad he’s doin OK....what a sincere guy. So pleased all turned out well....🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I never thought I’d say this but this was the best. Carpool.
Liv Xx the best is with Shawn ❤❤❤
The best was Paul McCartney
Michael's eyes looks in pain and suffering. Everything will be alright Michael be strong. God speed.
I thought that aswell
i know it was something to do with his son
@@VerryJerry90 his sons cancer is in remission now thankfully but it been hard why he been missing for 2yrs . His sons only a toddler too.
But his eyes light up when he sings. Healing takes time.
just as i thought, God is Good all the time
I can't imagine the pain he is feeling. Bless you sir for being strong for your family
Almost time to start playing his Christmas album on repeat! 🎄
every year over and over!!!
Every year I have to restrain myself from listening to Christmas music before Halloween is over. This year I caved and listened to Bublé's Christmas album already... and honestly, I'm not even sorry about it🤷♀️😍😂
Eve L haha love it!
Hahahah love these replies right here, totally already listening to the album and pretending it's meant for Halloween
its the best!!
This is one of the best carpool episodes in my opinion. You can feel how much he loves the music!
Agreed! The mark of a true musician.
Every day I live, I long for my child…
God help the families who have lost or are in fear of losing a child.
Sorry for your lost. I know how you must feel. I lost my daughter too. It is been 21 years now and i am happy again, the most days. But sometimes...
I have never cried in any carpool karaoke before. This beautiful person, callled Micheal, managed to make md think i am not a "tiny speck in the universe", i am as significant.
nfsdkfhlkad sfadkfhia lol
Great to see Buble in this car pool. 👍😁 Thanks James.

I'd be honored if some Buble fans would check out my acoustic piano & vocal covers of classic 80s/90s songs on my channel. Covers include Sting, Prince, George Michael, Radiohead, Jamiroquai, The Verve, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Sarah McClachlan, Billy Joel, Earth Wind & Fire, plus a couple of '010s classics from Bruno Mars and Coldplay. Live acoustic with no autotune. Thanks and peace.
I just hope they went back and paid for the coffee! (3
Or the show paid for it, or something!
So glad his little boy is OK now...I worked in a Cancer hospital for 22 years...I have seen a lot of sadness but also a lot of success...I hope his family can move forward from this devastating stage in their life...and experience joy & happiness to the fullest....Give your friends & family a great big hug...Have gratitude...;)
A fabulous singer, performer and human being. His voice goes right to your soul.
everytime i hear or see michael buble around, i know CHRISTMAS IS NEAR!
Yeah
They look like they could be brothers.
I was thinking the same thing.
There is no resemblance between them.
I think they have some similar mannerisms and expressions
So nice that their father joined them for this bit
now your crazy
So much love and respect for Michael. He‘s such a genuinely nice guy. Much strength to him and his family. Especially Noah.
Hes a good husband and a father.
Thank God you were able to take your baby home. Pediatric Nursing is such a blessing, such a blessing when the babies survive. Such a curse when they don’t. I feel you parents help us make it through by having so much courage as we watch the parents day in and day out take steps when all energy has been exhausted! Thank you for sharing your story.
Corden just KILLS me when he harmonizes. Just SO talented.
The looks on the celebrity faces when the realise he can sing is always gold
Philip Taylor So I’m watching this- and thinking, between James and Michael, I like James. He’s the greatest. This coming from a big Buble fan!
@@adamfilewood3416 haha do you mean the face Buble gives him at 3:36 ? :D
Too bad that he's major A-hole in real life

Michael buble is the most true and sincere person I have seen in carpool karaoke and when he said that his son was the real superhero that was the most sweet thing ever said on a carpool karaoke
yes he is wonderfuk
I don't listen to much Michael Bublé but he seems like the best person. His attitude is so untouched by the cynicism of fame and I can only imagine the inner strength he possesses to cope with his 3-year old son having cancer. I just want to give him the biggest hug and wish him every bit of happiness he's brought to his family, his friends, and his fans. I'm so glad his boy is alright.

Your priorities are set right, my dear Canadian friend 🇨🇦. May He bless all your family & walk closely with you all & give you strength day by day. I'm not crying.. you're crying..... well we are are all crying.... I love Michael Buble
Lol facts though
Michael Buble has the best sense of humor! Love that he’s back!
He's retiring dude! This is pretty much the last time you're gonna see him!
he has retired officially, still a multi millionaire, begging for charity?
werry nevans for others stupid
@@ITzDECORT not sure where you get your information from but Michael Buble gave an interview busting that rumor and that he is NOT retiring..idiot!!! ua-cam.com/video/XV4zp9lnR4w/v-deo.html
@@scottnever8732 Wow his son gets cancer and he retires to be with him and to raise money to help others and you piss on that. How could you be so bitter? Euro Vision He’s genuinely a fatherly figure I would be happy married to. Just a normal guy who doesn’t try too hard and has feelings. It’s sad that it doesn’t happen as often.
It's the Canadian in him lol....
Are you sure? According to his wife, he pees on the toilet seat...the bastard.
I’M A WRECK. When he said that he just “fell” and his wife picks him up now... such vulnerability. As humans we’re strong when we need to be, but when the worst is over that’s when the reality of the situation really sinks in. Noah is a total superhero, he kicked cancer’s ass, but you can see that Michael is broken by it. Even when you survive, it leaves pain and hurt and anger and hell in it’s wake. But we will always fight!!! This campaign is so important, if you haven’t donated yet please do!! #standuptocancer #SU2C #fuckyoucancer
Gave me goosebumps! You are so so so right!!!
These are the sort of people that truly bring us all together. Words just cant describe some things.
Amazing.
He is incredible, On instagram and social media he has been so open. They are truly an amazing family!
Thank you. My god, I was losing my shit.
3 years old with liver cancer..the strength it took to get through this. I know......
Perhaps I’m getting different comments, but I’m seeing all the comments on his amazing openness AND him saying “Thank You Jesus Christ”, before I even got to that point.

It was all over the news when his son was diagnosed. Michael took a long break from everything / stopped touring and recording to be with his son while he was being treated. He's talked about it before and I believe it's been over a year and maybe closer to two since they went through all this.

Classic canadian
In the thumbnail pic it looks like he's holding a machete (seatbelt) and smiling like a killer lol.
Absolutely! And we're adopted Canucks!
I was nervous when I went in, and opened my questions with, "So, how's it feel to be in Asia for the first time?" Michael looked at me, and said, "I've been in Asia lots of times, it's
my first time in Indonesia - way to go to start an interview, keeping it loose!" I was mortified,
and he immediately made me feel comfortable by offering me some of his water, asking me
where I was from, etc. I asked him about discussing the other side of celebrity, the intrusions
and that he had discussed depression, and he was thoughtful in his answers, talking about
living in the moment.
I went to ask another question, and saw the manager doing her sign, and went to wrap it up. "No, I'm fine with this, I'm enjoying it," he said. When we finished, we had an agreement to get one or two quick shots with our photographer for a cover photo; Michael
opened his pants to tuck in his shirt and asked me about my background and how come I
had come to Indonesia. We got the shot, and then he turned to me and said, "You want a
photo with me?" Quick as a flash, the manager chimed in, I'll take it, but Michael said, "Let me
do it", taking my phone and snapping the photo
I finished up, went to get a drink in the coffee shop and wrote the opening to the story. As I
was leaving through the lobby, I saw Michael walking with his wife; he stopped, winked at
me and said, "see you later at the concert". What a performance he gave that night; his
warmth and goodness and quality of being real came through.
By the way, I always assumed he had dark or black hair; he actually has ginger hair!
what a story makes a change from the norm of celebrities nowadays with their prima donna attitudes and two faced personalities
